    I wish I could leave a positive review, but I need to protect future customers. I actually liked the sales staff, and they even asked me to leave a great review to counter the bad ones. I really wanted to. As someone connected to many small businesses, I know how unfair reviews can be -- but in this case, this review is well deserved. OC Chief Auto advertises the $4,000 Used EV Tax Credit prominently on their website. That was a major reason I visited their lot. Throughout the process, the sales rep emphasized how great of a deal it was because the car I was buying "qualified" for the credit. The contract listed the vehicle at $24,999 -- just under the $25,000 federal limit. But buried in the paperwork was a $500 "accessory fee." I specifically asked about it and was told it was structured that way to help me "qualify" for the credit. Fast forward to tax season: My EV credit was denied because the dealership never filed the required IRS Energy Credits Online (ECO) time-of-sale report. I spent days calling, being put on hold, transferred, and disconnected -- never receiving help or a resolution. When I dug deeper, I discovered the truth: that $500 fee pushed the "sale price" to $25,499, which disqualified the car entirely under IRS rules. So not only did I pay an extra $500 in junk fees for nothing, but I also lost out on a $4,000 federal benefit I was repeatedly told I would get. When I reached out to management, there was no accountability, no apology, and no attempt to make it right -- only silence and avoidance. This kind of behavior does not elicit good business. I'm glad the sales rep got a few more dollars for their commission, though. Unbelievable. This experience was misleading and financially harmful. Future customers should know: just because a car is advertised at $24,999 does not mean they're going to sell it to you at that price. Pay very close attention to the fees added to your contract, and don't rely on verbal assurances. I trusted OC Chief Auto at their word, and I was left with nothing but frustration, wasted time, and thousands of dollars lost. Do not trust these guys. If you make a purchase here, do not let them speed you through anything. Completely protect yourself and your decision.

    Amazing dealer and staff. I bought my model Y about a month ago. Nick assisted me during the process. From beginning to end he was extremely helpful. His staff is very welcoming and treated my little ones fantastic. No pressure in buying, they let you roam around without harassing you. My model Y came with a few things that needed to be fixed and Nick came through and got them fixed right away. This is absolute the best used Tesla dealer in SoCal. Nick and staff thank you very much for treating my family and I with great care.

    My review is for the Riverside location. I worked with Nick, who was extremely helpful and answered all my questions and concerns. I was very clear about my worries regarding add-on costs, as I've been searching for a Tesla for a while. I was originally supposed to visit their Newport location, but I never made it--after wasting so much time at another nearby dealership that tried to tack on over $4,500 in bogus fees. Total waste of time. Nick was transparent throughout the contract process. He even gave me an extension for my charger. He was professional, knowledgeable about Teslas, and made the entire experience smooth. The Tesla I purchased had brand-new Michelin tires, and the rims were in excellent condition. I'm very satisfied! They had just received new inventory with even better deals, although those cars hadn't been detailed yet. I didn't want to make another trip, but I'm very happy with my purchase. The interior white seats are spotless, and the car looks practically new!

    They advertise vehicles at very low prices to attract calls, then attempt to steer customers toward similar vehicles at higher prices. I spoke with Joseph at the dealership regarding two specific cars they are actively marketing on Cars.com, and he had no recollection of either vehicle. Instead, he immediately tried to redirect me to other, more expensive options. One instance could be a misunderstanding, but when it happens with two separate listings, it suggests a concerning pattern of misleading sales practices.

    I bought a car from this dealer 3 months ago. It was not smooth but I really wanted and needed the car. Their inventory is never up to date and they are bad with communication. Not sure if they are just under staff. Anyway, I submitted a credit app to buy again. This time I contacted Nick the owner directly. Long story short it has been 8 days and no answer. Considering I bought before this is a really bad experience. I'm going to buy somewhere else.

I've leased multiple Land Rovers over the years -- from Mission Viejo, San Diego, and eventually Newport Beach when John Pham and Robb Bennett completely changed my mind back in 2019 on my white Velar. That experience was incredible. But then came the service nightmare in 2021 that had me swearing I'd never come back. I was done. I was actively shopping a Porsche Cayenne and was literally on my way to the Porsche dealership when Jason's email came through with a full lease breakdown -- drive-off options, term lengths, money factor, everything laid out transparently. I turned my car around. That is not an exaggeration. His pricing and total honesty stopped me mid-drive and put me back at square one deciding between two cars.     I really wanted and intended to write a five star review of OC Autosource because initially I liked…read morethe owner, Tony Thompson and trusted him. I ignored other reviews and purchased my dream car from OC Autosource...a Bentley Continental GT Speed "Limited Le Mans Edition" (#7 of 48) coupe. Though the car had been in his hands for weeks, he apparently never bothered to have a mechanic look at it. I paid for a PPI (Pre-Purchase Inspection) after buying it (my bad, don't make this mistake) and learned the truth about the car. The front grills had sustained damage, breaking off the tabs that hold them in place and subsequently been GLUED back on. The front left wheel had a crack in it which caused the tire to steadily lose air pressure, ultimately triggering an alert on the car's dash. This alert effectively froze the computer, making it impossible to use the navigation, listen to music or do anything else. I returned to the tire shop 3 times for refills, seven days later the alarm was triggered again, On my third visit they discovered the crack in the wheel. The exhaust system was loosely hanging on...missing brackets that secure it and prevent it from hanging low. The car has a 20 speaker, $7500.00 sound system but the blown speaker in the dash made it painful to use...like nails on a chalkboard. When I provided Tony proof of these flaws, he assured me he would make good on the repairs and "..do the right thing" and I believed him. I had everything fixed at a cost of $2637.79 (parts & labor) and now enjoy driving the car. Weeks passed and Tony never contacted me until I posted a review and filed a BBB complaint. 24hrs after posting my initial review & filing a BBB complaint, I got reimbursed the total amt for the aforementioned repairs. But because Tony asked me to "...remove all the negative you put out there" I feel this was mere damage control rather than his desire to do the right thing because I received more messages from him within 24hrs of posting my review than I received in the preceding 4 months.. I promised him an honest review on my first visit to OC Autosouce & that's what this is. I always keep my word. If you intend to purchase a car from OC Autosource, I suggest you demand a PPI be conducted before you buy. Have the cost of any repairs necessary be deducted from the purchase price and handle the repairs yourself. JMO...I could be wrong.
