Car buying has always been a daunting experience. The right car, the mileage, the condition.. Not at CA Beemers Teslers! Everything was pretty much spelled out before I got there. The website was loaded with a slew of models and the sales rep (Rodrigo) was very helpful with providing details before I arrived! Coming from Santa Barbara was well worth the trip. I test drove 2 models/3 vehicles before making a decision and with over a 100 used Teslas to choose from, they did not disappoint! Thanks Guys, job well done!

Kia was an amazing sales woman to work with. She allowed us to see as many vehicles as we wanted to see without hesitation. Great customer service from the sales woman Kia, Manger Frank, and Loan Officer Roger. Clear and easy purchasing process. 100% recommend purchasing a preowned Tesla from this location. Zero grimey dealership vibes.

They gave me an out the door price of $28205 for a car that was listed for $20990 Trying to sell ceramic coating ($1495) and rims ($1495) Ceramic coating doesn't cost more than $300 at best. There is this manager, named Frank :) He treats you like, "you wanna buy it, buy it, otherwise gtfoh" He is a total joke!

Although I arrived on a Sunday morning, 15 minutes prior to their opening, they opened the door and welcomed me in... within five minutes of meeting my wonderful sales rep Norman I knew we were in good hands..from the moment we stepped in the showroom until the time we drove off with our beautiful 2021 Tesla model Y long range AWD it was an exceptional no pressure experience... the finance manager Rich had us quickly approved at a very favorable interest rate and terms and even included a few extras at no additional cost , upgraded wheels and ceramic coating... then on to Roger to complete the paperwork.. he reviewed what extras were available to me in a no pressure environment and even discounted a few that I chose to add on... and a special shout out to General Manager Frank for leading such an exceptional team... and then let's not forget the free Häagen-Dazs ice cream on the way out for me, my wife and our dog Mia ... even got the Red Bow on the car.. outstanding experience all the way around .

We have been looking for a used Tesla and even went to a few used Tesla dealers and California Beemers Teslers gave the best customer service and most transparent. From the start, Ivan was patient and friendly and knowledgeable. Once we picked the model s, he introduced us to Frank who went over the price and worked with us. And lastly, Roger did all the paperwork and was very efficient. We are happy with our car but also satisfied with the customer service and transaction. Thank you for making buying a car very easy! By the way, love the lobby with all the snacks and beverages! Nice touch!

Steven was absolutely amazing Honest upfront Car picked up same day Shout out to Rich & Sean in finance !

I had such a great experience at this dealership! I left yesterday with the exact car I wanted, and the whole team made the process smooth from start to finish. Norman was amazing!! So helpful, PATIENT, and truly treated us like family. He worked with my budget and made sure I felt comfortable every step of the way. Fabrizzio stayed on top of communication and made sure everything was clear, which I really appreciated. Rich made it all happen, and Roger was also a big help along the way. This dealership genuinely cares about getting you into a car. Great prices, low APR just like I wanted, and an overall positive, stress-free experience. Highly recommend!

Me outside after traveling all the way from Palm Springs... just to be told the $20,990 Tesla actually costs $24,400

California Beemers / Teslers -- Bait & Switch I took an Uber from Palm Springs to Irvine after seeing their ad on TrueCar, one of the most trusted car-buying platforms in the U.S. The listing showed a Tesla for $20,990 with the $4,000 federal rebate included. When I arrived, the manager (who called himself "Mike") refused to honor that price and added a $2,500 ceramic coating and a $1,900 "rim refinement fee." That inflated the cost to $24,400 and erased the rebate entirely. When I questioned him, he tried to claim the ad wasn't their responsibility because it was on a third-party site. That's false. Dealers control their own listings on TrueCar -- a respected, credible platform that doesn't "make up" prices. They wasted my time, my money, and attempted to pocket a rebate meant for the customer. I am preparing to file complaints with the California DMV Investigations Division, the FTC, and the BBB so this deceptive practice is formally documented.

Worst experience ever! I came in to buy a car and Carlos literally repelled me !! SCAMM , wouldn't tell me final price over phone so I could get financing , so I got pre approved drive all the way from San Diego , will not give u final pricing unless u run credit, was told finally thousands of dollars of mandatory add on for ceramic coating must be paid in cash but won't talk exact numbers without running credit.. I already had my own financing and just asked for the total Cost .. I walked out and went to chief auto 6 minutes away .. the salesman tried to lie and say they sell salvaged cars not true at all my sister just bought one there as well !! Go to CHIEF AUTO OC!!! No pressure! No down payment !! No dealer add on fees !! Plus they allowed $4,000 Rebate on any car on the lot and took it as my down payment .

Fab was AMAZING!!! I love my new car!! Thank you so much for all your help, for for following up and staying later until I made my purchase!

Ask the Community - California Beemers Teslers

Are the add ons mandatory on a vehicle purchase here? GPS, Paint Protection etc. GPS on a Tesla that literally has tracking built in already... make it make sense?

Yeah sadly it was the LoJack anti theft and the ceramic coating. Kinda bullshit and takes away the purpose of your IRS rebate. The ceramic is nice, but the LoJack is kinda waste. But it's still a nice car three months later for how long I've had…

Do you have "accessory fees" tag onto price tag like other used car lot? If so, about how much is it?

The paint protection and upgraded wheels (apparently their "go-to" add-ons) ARE on the final documents, but they are somewhat buried and barely mentioned so be really careful when signing. The paint protection is on all of their vehicles so you…

What's the GPS tracking device that was installed in my vehicle? I must've deleted the app and want to get it back. Thank you.

The online listing made the car sound pristine, but in person, it had a long list of issues: broken trim, missing parts, mismatched tires, rusted rotors, and a non-functioning rear screen. These flaws weren't disclosed in the ad. Worse, the dealership attempted to charge $5,500 for paint protection, theft deterrents, tint, and other add-ons that were never discussed beforehand, despite claiming "no hidden fees." Their fine print later revealed these were pre-installed and not part of the advertised price. I waited more than 20 minutes to speak with a manager after raising concerns but willing to negotiate, but no one followed up, so I walked out. This place banks on uninformed buyers accepting inflated prices and vague add-ons. If you're a serious buyer, read the fine print, ask hard questions, and be ready to walk. UPDATE 6/28/25: After buying the same make and model at a different dealership -- one with FAR better integrity -- I want to reflect back at my experience at this dealership and their practices. First, salesman wanted me to negotiate on the final price, not the vehicle price. That's a classic dealership tactic as it protects the sticker price for their metrics, have an easier time hiding add-on profits, and it creates a false impression of flexibility. Ultimately, this is bad for the buyer because transparency is lost, it protects their margin and limits one's leverage. I knew that's what they were aiming at, so I held the line on only negotiating on the sticker price. Again, LOOK AT THE PICTURES AS TO WHY!! In spite of what I just said, he proceeded with the oldest trick dealerships do: "cool-down" or "sweat-you-out" tactic. This is done to make one feel uncomfortable or impatient with the ultimate goal of getting one emotionally invested in staying and "finishing the deal". By doing so, they wear you down so that you're more likely to agree to their numbers just to be done. There are other reasons too but this is a big one. ~20 minutes of waiting, I told one of the salesmen that I've been waiting a while for the manager and will leave in 5 minutes if he doesn't arrive. True to my word, I left. I never heard from them after that (they had my contact info) which tells me they would rather wait for a less informed, emotional buyer to foolishly agree to the unfair price of this car AND overpriced mandatory add-ons. Here's my take away from this dealership: 1) High-pressure, low-integrity dealership model: They prioritize margins over relationships with a focus on flipping cars at inflated prices. They also rely on delays, confusion, and "manager invisibility" to outlast smart buyers. 2) Poor reconditioning = Cut costs: The car's condition (damaged trim, mismatched tires, rusted rotors, broken screen and so on) says they're not investing in inventory. They're pushing it out as-is and hoping no one notices. 3) The "Fool Tax" strategy: the biggest one for this dealership. They keep cars on the lot long enough to find someone unaware or emotionally invested. I was never their ideal buyer. I was informed, direct, and clear. PLEASE TAKE MY EXPERIENCE AS A WARNING. AVOID THEM. I AM SPEAKING AS SOMEONE WHO DID NOT PURCHASE FROM THEM. IMAGINE HOW I WOULD FEEL IF I DID. UPDATE 4/1/26: Since my visit, California passed SB 766, aimed at deceptive practices like misleading pricing and add-ons, the same issues I and many others have raised here. After 10/1/26, dealers engaging in those practices will face greater scrutiny. If you believe you were misled or defrauded, consider filing a complaint w/ DMV Investigations and keep all documentation. In Jan 2026, Yelp placed a "Suspicious Review Activity" alert on this dealership's page (see pic). Read it, then look at how many good reviews come from accounts with 1-3 total reviews here, versus those with a much longer review history. Draw your own conclusions. IF YOU FOUND A VEHICLE YOU LOVE AT THIS DEALERSHIP, PLEASE STAY AWAY!! THEY WILL USE YOUR EMOTIONS AGAINST YOU.

I worked with Zed on my purchase and communication over text was flawless. He took the time to make sure I understood the ins and outs of the vehicle and worked with me to get a decent value for my trade-in. Well worth the drive from San Diego for me. No pressure tactics, no surprise fees, fair pricing, and a quick and easy transaction. It's refreshing compared to the typical used car dealer experience, and I genuinely appreciated that. The Bad: I drove off the lot and immediately noticed two warning lights on the dash: charging port fault and airbag. You know how cars flash a few lights on startup and they disappear within seconds? That's what I assumed. Besides, you're spending $50K+ on a car and you don't expect to drive away with these active warnings. I simply trusted Zed on that. Both turned out to be real issues. $1,400 paid to fix it. During my inspection, one of the Falcon Wing doors hesitated when opening. Zed said it was probably the sun, shade, or dust interfering. I took his word for it. It wasn't. $650 quote from Tesla. One week later, a steering rack warning appeared. $4,000 quote. Total damage in week one: over $6,000 on top of the purchase price. My Take: I want to give him the benefit of the doubt and assume he didn't know about these issues. But either way, it's clear these cars aren't being thoroughly inspected before they hit the lot. I'd give 3.5 stars if I could, but $6,000+ in repairs within a week makes 4 stars hard to justify. Would I buy from here again? "Maybe..." But next time I'm bringing my own inspector, spending more time on the test drive, and checking every light, every panel, and every moving part myself. Bottom line: Good dealer. Smooth process. But do NOT skip a thorough pre-purchase inspection. Do NOT assume the car is in good condition because you're having a good experience during your time at the dealership.

I really wanted and intended to write a five star review of OC Autosource because initially I liked…read morethe owner, Tony Thompson and trusted him. I ignored other reviews and purchased my dream car from OC Autosource...a Bentley Continental GT Speed "Limited Le Mans Edition" (#7 of 48) coupe. Though the car had been in his hands for weeks, he apparently never bothered to have a mechanic look at it. I paid for a PPI (Pre-Purchase Inspection) after buying it (my bad, don't make this mistake) and learned the truth about the car. The front grills had sustained damage, breaking off the tabs that hold them in place and subsequently been GLUED back on. The front left wheel had a crack in it which caused the tire to steadily lose air pressure, ultimately triggering an alert on the car's dash. This alert effectively froze the computer, making it impossible to use the navigation, listen to music or do anything else. I returned to the tire shop 3 times for refills, seven days later the alarm was triggered again, On my third visit they discovered the crack in the wheel. The exhaust system was loosely hanging on...missing brackets that secure it and prevent it from hanging low. The car has a 20 speaker, $7500.00 sound system but the blown speaker in the dash made it painful to use...like nails on a chalkboard. When I provided Tony proof of these flaws, he assured me he would make good on the repairs and "..do the right thing" and I believed him. I had everything fixed at a cost of $2637.79 (parts & labor) and now enjoy driving the car. Weeks passed and Tony never contacted me until I posted a review and filed a BBB complaint. 24hrs after posting my initial review & filing a BBB complaint, I got reimbursed the total amt for the aforementioned repairs. But because Tony asked me to "...remove all the negative you put out there" I feel this was mere damage control rather than his desire to do the right thing because I received more messages from him within 24hrs of posting my review than I received in the preceding 4 months.. I promised him an honest review on my first visit to OC Autosouce & that's what this is. I always keep my word. If you intend to purchase a car from OC Autosource, I suggest you demand a PPI be conducted before you buy. Have the cost of any repairs necessary be deducted from the purchase price and handle the repairs yourself. JMO...I could be wrong.
