I really wanted and intended to write a five star review of OC Autosource because initially I liked the owner, Tony Thompson and trusted him. I ignored other reviews and purchased my dream car from OC Autosource...a Bentley Continental GT Speed "Limited Le Mans Edition" (#7 of 48) coupe. Though the car had been in his hands for weeks, he apparently never bothered to have a mechanic look at it. I paid for a PPI (Pre-Purchase Inspection) after buying it (my bad, don't make this mistake) and learned the truth about the car. The front grills had sustained damage, breaking off the tabs that hold them in place and subsequently been GLUED back on. The front left wheel had a crack in it which caused the tire to steadily lose air pressure, ultimately triggering an alert on the car's dash. This alert effectively froze the computer, making it impossible to use the navigation, listen to music or do anything else. I returned to the tire shop 3 times for refills, seven days later the alarm was triggered again, On my third visit they discovered the crack in the wheel. The exhaust system was loosely hanging on...missing brackets that secure it and prevent it from hanging low. The car has a 20 speaker, $7500.00 sound system but the blown speaker in the dash made it painful to use...like nails on a chalkboard. When I provided Tony proof of these flaws, he assured me he would make good on the repairs and "..do the right thing" and I believed him. I had everything fixed at a cost of $2637.79 (parts & labor) and now enjoy driving the car. Weeks passed and Tony never contacted me until I posted a review and filed a BBB complaint. 24hrs after posting my initial review & filing a BBB complaint, I got reimbursed the total amt for the aforementioned repairs. But because Tony asked me to "...remove all the negative you put out there" I feel this was mere damage control rather than his desire to do the right thing because I received more messages from him within 24hrs of posting my review than I received in the preceding 4 months.. I promised him an honest review on my first visit to OC Autosouce & that's what this is. I always keep my word. If you intend to purchase a car from OC Autosource, I suggest you demand a PPI be conducted before you buy. Have the cost of any repairs necessary be deducted from the purchase price and handle the repairs yourself. JMO...I could be wrong. read more

I wrote this earlier today but must have erased it by mistake. Tony sold my Son a challenger that I Paid $48,000.in a cashiers check for. I had Tony come get the car and he promised me my refund after I sent the pink slip. I did send the pink slip but wasn't refunded. I had a handyman in my home posing as a contractor. He seen a jeep on OC's website and had to have that car. I told him if he could get a vehicle from them then to pay me back the $48,000 that would be fine. Tony let him know the car couldn't go for that cheap. Roger Michael then threatened Tony's life. That didn't go over well. After the poser stole a small fortune from me committed fraud and elder abuse. He stole my Jeep Rubicon and took off for Arroyo Grande. However my Jeep is now in police custody. I'm pursuing charges with the DA against Roger. Tony Thompson has called me and apologized. He is going to make things right between him and I. I'm going to put my trust behind Tony. I believe he will make things right so I'm giving him a good review. I don't want his business to suffer no one deserves that. I want him to do well and help me out. Where do I start !!!!dealt with Tony the owner the whole time ,From loosing my ids ,to a couple of days later loosing sales contract so Tony had to mail me a new one which I signed and sent back immediately ,I had to figure out my self how to get temp tags btw they didn't not help at all,to now over 6 months later which temp been expired for months and not being able to even drive the vehicle that I've spent 105k on with 40k down,6k in maintenance/tires ,and 65k through a bank that sucks just as band as him ,now he's been funded for 6month and I'm with a vehicle I can't drive because he's claiming title was lost ,which if they are remotely on top of their business they could've had title replaced in first couple of months and actually they've realized this over 3 months ago and they claimed they were tracking the package ,I have proof for everything I've claimed !!!he's broken the law and I've tried everything in my power ,even gave him the opportunity to send a simple message stating the promises he's made this last week ,which I think I have the right to at this point after being lied to for 6months so I don't have to seek legal help and he's failed to do that as well .. I was looking for a bucket list automobile. Some car guys would think of a Ferrari. I am one of those fellas. Looked around the internet within a 500 mile range. Mr. Tony Thomas, owner of OC Autosource in Costa Mesa, CA got back on my inquiry within less than an hour on a 2012 Ferrari California with an unheard of 16k miles on it. I did my diligent research on this entry level Ferrari produced from 2008 to 2017. He said if I would like to see the car, he'd come in the following day, a Sunday to take care of me. His A-team was there. His long time employ Kerry, who took me for the awesome test drive. Lou who was constantly doting over the car all the time I was there. Lou did the same for all the luxury cars there too. No hard sell at all. He just let me be. Tony gave me an awesome price for the car. Tony handled the financing himself and all paperwork was done within 2 hours from when we shook our hands (actually a firm fist pump due to the ongoing pandemic) to DMV papers signed. Speed of the transaction was accomplished with electronic / digital applications and signatures. Tony also bought lunch for everyone. I came in at 11am, I was out of there 2:15pm. Quickest purchase of a car ever for me. Car will be delivered on a flat bed truck for me. He even offered to sell my 2016 Toyota Tundra and my 2008 Porsche 911, which was the car I came in. This place will have someone call you if your car is posted for sale. They will litteraly waste your time for 30 min by showing they're interested in the car and later want you to drive your car to them without even looking at the car. (scam alert) Once I asked them to put in a deposit for the car since I have to drive for at least an hour, and they're gone, no more answers til the next morning. I thought this was a serious business, and I still gave them a chance by calling the shop to let them know that someone called me about this situation, and they were truly sorry and not even interested in the car and mentioned they don't even" know" the guy who called me and told me they will call him to let him know it's not cool to scam people like that. Guess what, This morning the guy texts me again and says you're welcome to the dealership and they will give your asking price. We stumbled upon OC Autosource while doing a wide search for a used Mercedes E convertible for my wife. We ended up visiting the dealership, filled with beautiful high-end luxury vehicles. At the end of the day, we ended up with a different car, a 2009 red Mercedes SL550 with low miles. Tony was gracious enough to offer us a short term warranty; since we didn't get a chance to take it to for a mechanic's inspection. I have not visited any of them, but I would say to stop by OCautosoruce for sure to see the unique car-layouts, and the ascetic is something a potential customer can appreciate. I have been visiting dealers for some time now, and I can tell you I felt comfortable with all the staff and was impressed by the overall teamwork. What I felt different was that all staff members were interactive and all on-board with providing customer service. What I felt at other locations was customer service was fostered solely from the salesperson. Often, at different locations, it felt that the other team-members were afraid to interact, or felt like they would disturb a sale in progress... or something. Customer service was so High-Tier ...that I am not sure if I even had a salesperson assigned; or something. However, that works. I felt that I bought the car from the company and not one individual, which was often not the case in my past purchases. I ended up buying an SUV today, and I am stoked!!!! I did not know today was the day; after seeing the same type of SUV at a few different locations over the months! I was lining up a buyer for the last two weeks, and honestly, I was going to sell the car tomorrow. Come to find out I didn't even have to do all that. I could have just went to OC AUTOSORUCE, and sold it to them while I did take a tiny loss compared to selling to the Potential buyer I had. Honestly, it was so small the decision- level was very comparable to what I experience at the fast-food counter; to upgrade a drink or not. The loss is nothing worth me wasting my time sourcing a buyer and negotiating the price up. As everyone knows, the best deal is the one that is present. Fantastic experience! I buy a new car every year and have dealt with many different dealerships. OCAutoSource is one of the best car buying experiences I've ever had. I found an Audi R8 V10 Spyder for sale and went down to test drive it. I show up and no pressure, they just gave me the keys and said have fun. 25 minutes later of getting to know the car, I knew I wanted it. I asked Tony if I could get the car pre-purchased inspection and if there were any major issues if they would fix it. Tony said, no problem, I'll fix anything that is wrong. Got the inspection done and Tony is a man of his word, he fixed all the minor issues! I even brought the car back regarding the door being mis-aligned and Tony took care of me! If you are thinking of purchasing a car from OC Auto Source, do not hesitate. I contacted them by phone about a car I was interested in, as I live about 350 miles away from the dealership. This was a long distance purchase and I had a ton of questions about the car. Tony and Louis were so amazing. They answered all of my questions told me the history of the car, pointed me to the carfax, gave me additional info on how they had obtained the car which matters when you are purchasing a car you do not intend to see or test drive. Within 15 minutes, I had all of the info I needed, I wired a deposit on the car, Tony set up the financing and Fed Exed all of the paper work to sign to our house. Tony went out of his way to accomodate my request to have the car serviced at a local dealership in Costa Mesa before it was shipped to me. I wanted to make sure when it got to me I would know it was in top mechanical condition. He did not hesitate to send it for a checkup which to me indicated he was very confident in what I was purchasing. Louis arranged the transport for me and within 4 hours I got a call from the transport driver stating he would be delivering the car the same day Louis arranged for the delivery. Let me reiterate, I live about 350 miles from OC Auto Source. They bent over backward to get the car to me as soon as was humanly possible. When it arrived it was in perfect condition.
