    Before limewash

Ondrej from OC wide paint is a real hidden gem!! I have not met anyone so professional, knowledgeable and skillful in a long time. We did 2 projects, lacquer paint for kitchen cabinets and limewash on exterior brick veneer. I have hired painters many times over the years, but it is extremely hard to find a painter who could do lacquer paint in California (due to regulation) and also knows how to do lime washing on exterior bricks. Our house had ugly red brick veneer that I hated for a long time but I didn't know what to do with it except replacing it with new stone veneer but the cost would be so much more. Ondrej is originally from Europe so he knew exactly what I had in mind. His crew spent almost 3 days just for the brick veneer to get look I was going for. Lastly his cost is reasonable especially considering the total time he spent for our project and his expertise. We are doing another paint project in 6 months, we will definitely use him again. Highly recommended!!

We've had neighbors knock on door to ask who did such a beautiful paint job.

These guys are fantastic. My husband and I were so amazed at Ondrej (and his team)'s attention to detail and the professionalism. I looked them up because I am planning to use them again - then realized I forgot to write my first recommendation! I highly recommend!

The communication throughout the project, from the moment of initial quote up till it was completed went smoothly. He is extremely knowledgeable and master of his craft. There is absolutely no up selling. Infact he talked us out of couple things which we thought we should get done and guided us in the right direction. We are thankful to fellow reviewers to bring him to our attention. Anyone looking for any stucco/drywall related projects, you will be amazed at his work as much as we are for sure!

Aston carved out some time on his weekend to come check out the job and provide a quote. He was super upfront about what he could do and gave us recommendations even if we didn't move forward with him. He answered ALL of our questions and made us feel very at ease (especially after working with a contractor that was the complete opposite). Aston emailed me a very detailed and reasonable quote that evening and we hired him that next day. He is seriously one of the best contractors I've worked with (I work with contractors for a living so I've seen the full spectrum of good, bad, and ugly). He is super friendly and VERY communicative. I would rather have someone that over-communicates than under, because it removes assumptions from both sides. The work he does looks really great. He is extremely tidy and cleaned up the areas at the end of every day. He was able to match the old French lace texture we have over a fairly large area. His work has held up wonderfully, especially after the week and a half or rain we just had. Pictures posted are the before, in process, and unpainted finished work. HIGHLY recommend.

Todd is great. I would highly recommend Todd for any home projects or construction…read more He was the most professional and worked hard to complete the job on time. Thank you Todd Michael Muth

I hired Todd to repair three unstable spots in my bathroom subfloor before tiling. While he clearly…read morehas a good eye for structural issues and was willing to accommodate a tight timeline, there were some challenges with communication and project execution. The Good: - Flooring Expertise: Todd correctly identified a hump in the subfloor and noted that the new tile would sit significantly higher than the adjacent bedroom carpet. He proposed shaving down the joists to level and lower it--a solution my tiler highly recommended. Even with this fix, the tile ended up almost two inches higher than the carpet, so I'm glad Todd caught this before the tile went down. - Timeline Accommodation: Todd squeezed in the final repairs on his way to a family vacation in San Diego because I requested the work be expedited before guests arrived. His kids were literally sitting in the back of the car waiting for him to finish the job. I certainly appreciated him prioritizing my request to this degree. The Challenges: - Scheduling and Handoffs: Todd had to leave before finishing the joists and couldn't return for a few days. He sent a colleague, Mike, to finish the job, but the handoff was not thorough. First, Mike missed one of the three spots I originally hired them to fix. Second, Mike was not informed that a specific section of the subfloor needed to be left open to accommodate a new floor drain. Had I not caught the miscommunication, my tiler would have to open the subfloor again, costing time and money. - Follow-Through and Accountability: When I pointed out the missed subfloor spot, Todd initially stated he would need to charge his three-hour minimum, viewing it as extra scope. It was disappointing that I had to convince him it was part of the original job by referencing the picture in my initial quote request and our in-person walkthrough. Ultimately, I had to pay a premium to incentivize him to return to finish the job. - Expedited Repairs and Transparency: For his final visit, Todd did not bring his drill. As a result, he could not fasten the replacement subfloor with screws as per best practice, so he used nails instead. What was most concerning was his lack of transparency: rather than informing me he was missing the necessary equipment and giving me an opportunity to supply it, he would have left for San Diego if I hadn't caught it.
