A few of them we waited for as they were sent stat. This was one of the most compasionate and caring doctors I have ever been blessed to have work on my case. Brought me back in 2 weeks to go over new tests and the ones he had received from others. When he walked in my room he had obviously read all my records and had notes on a few with followup answers from each doctor on his questions. The changes he made were extremely effective and the instructions were clear and explained as to what and why he was doing anything and everything. He also explained my part and why I needed to do each thing he wanted and what he expected my results to be. It has now been over 2 years and I am doing so much better than I ever thought possible. His staff is excellent and handle everything in a quick professional manner. They are also kind and understanding and I leave the office with no question left unsolved. I wish I could give 10 stars as this office from front desk to check out and everything inbetween is exceptional and I wish others in this town would spend a day to see how to properly run a medical company and still have time to be kind and respectful to others.

He calls the patient himself to relay test results. He correctly diagnosed my father with a rather rare lung infection, and in addition, he has performed several bronchoscopies w/ lavage for Dad. His office staff is as caring as he is. During the years that Dad was Dr. Rodriguez' patient, he had only three employees, but these three women were more competent at getting things done than many offices who have many more employees. They get back with you immediately if there is a problem with test results and they truly see you as a person and not a number. If Dr. Rodriguez promises to return a call or answer a question, even for a family member, he keeps his promise, and in a timely fashion. He is one in a million, and his office staff is a reflection of the level of care that he, himself, gives to his patients. I can't imagine anyone not being pleased and very grateful to have him as their pulmonologist. I can't say enough good about this doctor. Great doctor, great office staff... one in a million. I have referred a few people to him and all are very pleased.

I couldn't quickly get up and go, I had things to take care of, especially since I was prepared to have a few more hours before leaving. I ended up telling them that I could come in an hour and a half early, and despite this, when I got there, they still hadn't called my insurance to verify that I could get this test done. They had tried to tell me that it was my responsibility to call my insurance and get approved for the test, when this should be the billing and insurance department's responsibility. I decided to call the insurance anyway, and the woman on the phone told me "they need to call us". So I went back in, and told them what the woman on the phone said. I waited in the office, after driving for an hour, for another hour, just to be told that she couldn't get a hold of the insurance, and that she would have to reschedule me. This should've been something that was done well before my visit. i've never had to call the insurance myself, and ask for a test to be approved. That is the doctors office's responsibility. The entire office just felt unorganized, and unprofessional. I do feel a little bad for the woman in the front, because it seems to also be understaffed. There should at least be one more person behind the counter with her, to deal with the brunt of all the patients and the billing and the insurance. This was a very unpleasant experience, and I will be taking my business elsewhere. I don't recommend this practice solely for the disorganization, and inconvenience. 2 week later update: after dealing with this office and just trying to get a PFT done, i called a different doctor on the same day, got an appointment, and on the same appointment they did my PFT and everything has been good since. I don't recommend this practice at all.
