I was told Service Plumbing could send a technician but there would be a service charge of $75 unless I used the company and paid for remediation. Wow. That is not a free estimate at all. I am upset at their false advertising. I called another leak detection company that offered to do leak detection, provide a remediation estimate, charge nothing for the initial visit and estimate, and give $50 off because I said I was referred by Angie's List. FYI . . . . .Further I found that "Leak Detection" is a specialized skill that not all plumbers are able to provide.
