This was a super cool experience during our trip to Biloxi a few years ago. There was a dolphin and sea lion educational show that was really fun but my highlight was the opportunity to be kissed by a sea lion! For a small fee, you receive a photo as the sea lion is planting a big wet kiss on your cheek! Another highlight was the budgie area where you bought sticks of food and the parakeets (budgies) landed on you and ate from them. It's not for the faint of heart or anyone that's afraid of birds, lol. This is a fun place to visit with kids or anyone who appreciates birds and marine life. Beware: in the summer, there's a lot of walking outdoors and it can get quite hot. Make sure you wear your sunscreen and bring a neck fan! read more

I'm all about rescue but from a visitor perspective a little more human communication would go a long way. At time of purchasing tickets it could've been mentioned what is and isn't available; would be very helpful. We were unable to feed and/or pet the stingrays, there was only 5 spots for kissing sea lion that were no longer available, so for a family unable to plan in advance with changing schedules it was a bummer. The bird feeder stick took me by surprise because it looks disappointing, however it was sufficient to get some of the birds to land. The dolphin/sea lion show was pretty good, I would just appreciate maybe a screen with whatever the speaker was saying, it was hard to hear in that room with the echo. All in all my family enjoyed it. read more

The music played during the dolphin show was repetitive and loud and we couldn't hear a word the host was saying. The animal shows are about 30mins each. Kinda perfect for my adhd kid. They had a lot of interesting things for my 9 year old. He liked seeing the whale skull and alligators. He also enjoyed the bird show. He's seen dolphins and other mammals before up close so he wasn't as impressed but he still liked the shows. He wants to go back and do a water adventure with the dolphins. We spent a few hours here and we didn't play on the playground, eat anything, or see the alligator show. There's also an area I believe where you can go and birds will perch on you. We didn't do that either. But would've been fun. Definitely would go back. read more

You in fact cannot pet the stingrays. It is not a cup of food for the birds it is a tiny stick with a speck of food. When the staff know before hand the birds will not be eating they don't tell you till after you pay. Then you walk in they say oh well they aren't taking food, you ask for a refund, you have to argue with 3ppl for a refund. $3 but not the point! They absolutely do not tell you some of the attraction are not running when you come in pay but make sure to tell you no refunds and all attractions included. Save your money go somewhere else. read more

I came on a whim and I am so glad I did. Reasonable admission prices, interactive displays, the dolphin show was pretty amazing. Medium sized parking lot in front, employees are friendly and helpful, everything seemed to run like a well oiled machine. read more

It was a cute activity to do with my little but I do have to say, THE STINGRAY POOL CAN VERY EASILY BE DANGEROUS. There is a literal lifeguard on standby because it is about 15-20 feet deep. Most children do not know how to swim, as mine doesn't yet. We were the only ones in there at the time because it was a Monday and unfortunately the lifeguard didn't see it happen. I had enough time to grab my child out of the water by catching her leg before she was fully in the pool. After I consoled her and walked to the lifeguard to ask for a towel, then did he notice that we were even there. read more

If you've been to Sea World then this feels like a much, much smaller version but probably good if you are limited to Mississippi. We got sprayed at without warning as we left the Tweet bird room. Fun fact - sanitizer kills germs, not smaller viruses like Covid so don't tell people it's to kill the virus. I asked a staffer a question and she started chatting with me but took down her mask so she could "breathe better" but we were only a few feet apart so that scared me. Went on a field trip with my daughter. Everyone enjoyed themselves and had lots of fun. They have shoes for different animals that last roughly 20min...bird, dolphins, and sea lions. There's also showings and touching of the animals and different locations through out the facility. Play area for the kids as well as gift shop and food. read more

We really enjoyed ourselves. We visited this place about 6 years ago. Our little boy wasn't walking then of course. So, he was able to truly enjoy this time. We arrived around 10 or so and was able to enjoy the sea lion show. It was really nice, short and sweet. It didn't drag on and incorporated something for the adults as well as the kids. I won't give away the deets, you must go and see for yourself. Afterwards we caught the train and we to venture around the museum and the touch sting ray pool(yes, you get to touch them). It was all very clean and the staff was really happy to have us there. Our little one is a little rocket ship so we caught the dolphin show (which was awesome, I want one) and called it a day. That show was a true treat and very intimate. The way the arena is set up everyone has the opportunity to enjoy. We will definitely return.. read more

My family and I did the Dolphin Encounter and we also did the Sting Ray Encounter and that was the most fun I have had in years. This place may seem like there's nothing here because the map is pretty small but some people don't know about the second section of the park because it's kind of out of everyone's sight. The first place had a dolphin and sea lion arena. It also had a stingray pond where you could pet the stingrays. And the last place was a bird feeding are where you can buy sticks and they will come up to you. Once we finished there we went to the second area and it had a whole bunch of facts about dolphins and the other animals there. I the back they had a place with fish, snakes, starfish, and smaller stingrays. We spent about three and a half hours here because some of the shows were time consuming. But this place is actually really cool for the cost. read more

This was a huge surprise! I was expecting a small show , but it had everything that the big show venues have and more! Love that my grandson could touch the stingrays, his favorite. The bird, reptile, dolphin and sea lion show were each in a shaded area ( much needed on 100 degree day) the little train that shuttles between shows was great. An educational, affordable day trip from Slidell, LA. We spent half a day, saw all of the shows, rode the train, visited the discovery center, and feed the birds. It was a great time for my two and nine year old kids. The playground was nice, and the facility wasn't crowded, even for a Saturday. read more

Glad to have spent 2-3 hours here. My kids are teens, and it's been years since we were at Seaworld. We still really enjoy the animal talks and shows. Always learn something new, and they have local alligator that Seaworld doesn't have. Also there is a very nice museum of beautiful shells and info on gulf shrimp industry. A lot more economical than Seaworld. A nice short outing. Highly recommend this place!! read more

Good place to take the kids. My 5 year old and 3 year old loved it. We got to pet stingray, watch a dolphin/sea lion show, pet a snake, and feed parakeets. My kids wanted to go back to the parakeet cage. For $1.50/ea, you can buy seed sticks prior to entering. Well worth the price to have parakeets land on the stick, so the kids can pet them and have them land on your shoulders. read more

I don't know why this place doesn't have more reviews. It was absolutely amazing. This was a pit stop on our family road trip and it was the best pit stop ever!!! All 3 of Our kids loved it (8,6,2). You can schedule and pay in advance online for dolphin, sting ray and sea lion encounters which I wished we had time for, but the general admission was still such an awesome experience. We will most definitely be back and will allow for more time. We got there right when it opened which I'm glad. By noon it was packed. The shows were fun and informative and the staff were very knowledgeable and great with kids. My daughter actually got picked to help with the dolphin show and it was such a blast and all for a great cause. read more

Why is no one reviewing this place? What a gem. We saw dolphins, sea lions, touched sting rays, and played with parakeets. Very informative shows which were entertaining. For $15 a person there wasn't a lot to do. Touching the stingrays was really cool. But we didn't get to see the feeding because at the same time the dolphin show was starting. We did enjoy the dolphin show and the sea lion show. But $25 for a sea lion kiss was extremely too pricey!!! Plus it had to be scheduled in advance. Got to feed the birds and we enjoyed that. But that's it. Stingrays, dolphins, sea lions and birds. That's it. Not worth $15. read more

This place was awesome! The kids really enjoyed swimming with the stingrays and sharks. The girls mostly enjoyed the sea lion interaction and kissing the sea lion.
