Really enjoy this local ice cream shop. I love their variety of flavors and toppings. Staff is very friendly and the line moves quickly. This shop is located in a strip mall so there is plenty of parking. There is also indoor and outdoor seating so it's nice to hang around to have your ice cream. Went here for the 1st time on Sunday April 19th 2026 with my dad. Ocean Bay Creamery is a little ice cream shop that is located in a strip mall with other businesses. For instance, we found it because we went to nearby Family Dollar. It has tables outside and inside for enjoying the sweet treat of ice cream! We walked in, and there was no line. Staff greeted us warmly and even said that we can sample the ice cream before getting one- I sampled the mocha chip and it was so good that i decided to get it. Also got it in a small cup. My dad got a chocolate sundae with hot fudge. We sat at a table inside and very much enjoyed our ice cream! tasted very fresh and hit the spot. Also in total for our 2 items, it cost $13.80, and we paid cash with a 20 and got proper change. Staff was pleasant, place was clean, and has homemade ice cream! My wife saw a Facebook post from the business, advertising their lemon poppyseed ice cream, and we decided to pay them a visit. We both got sugar cones - mine was banana pudding flavor. It was delicious. Reminded me of the banana cream pies my Mom used to make, crumbled Graham cracker crust and all. The ice cream was very flavorful and super creamy. Tasted my wife's lemon poppyseed, and it was bursting with bright lemon poppyseed muffin flavors. We will definitely be back when we return to Myrtle Beach! read more

Had to try out this new ice cream place after a nice dinner at nearby Sol y Luna. This is the only ice cream located joint at this end of our neighborhood area. This increases the ease of getting all the goodies we want. The shop has seating for about 16 inside and has additional 5 tables outside. There were about 12 or 14 different flavors along with various toppings to fill either cups or cones. I got a cup of chocolate ice cream topped with chocolate fudge. I was on a sugar rush for about two hours afterwards! It was a delicious, creamy treat. Kim had the English Toffee in a waffle cone. She loved the taste and texture. I am not a big fan of that flavor, but I tried it and have to say, it was not bad. My family and I look forward to going to Ocean Bay Creamery for a treat. You can tell that the ice cream is homemade because it really is creamy as the name suggests. The portion sizes are very generous and the service is great. During our most recent visit, which was on a Friday with a group of 7 people, we were in and out in a matter of minutes and the staff was very pleasant even though some of us were indecisive. I noticed this place before the pandemic but life got in the way. I've been there twice now and both times I really enjoyed the HOMEMADE ice cream. A very good variety of flavors, I had the black raspberry the first time, delicious. The second time dairy free vanilla pineapple dole whip, excellent I even brought a pint home. When this ice cream shop opened up I was so excited! Walking through the door I was happy as can be and suddenly my mood change. I wasn't greeted, the employees were standing there on their phones.
