Stay away! This place is disgusting! It's dirty and stinks like urine. Most machines are broken, or don't work well! Inside the establishment there was homeless people hanging out and outside a bunch of Hispanic men standing by the entrance. read more

To the owner of this Establishment Came in to do laundry around 8:30pm First of all why do you have a man cleaning when there's a lot of customers? The worst part the chemicals he was using where really strong it smelled like ammonia you can't even breathe my head started hurting. Why not have ur cleaning crew come in at 10pm when the establishment is closed already. Then the man was like u better finish at 10 because I leave exactly at 10. I thought the other reviews were being dramatic about how bad this place is. Boy was I wrong. The first and last time I visited there was garbage on the floors, which were coated in a layer of dried dirt. People were loitering and smoking outside, which led to the whole laundromat smelling like cigarettes. A woman's baby screamed incessantly while I was there. The only seats available were broken - not that you'd want to stay and hang out. But the alternative (leaving and getting your clothes stolen) felt so likely that I stayed throughout the entire cycles until I could collect my clothes and leave. The machines themselves worked fine and didn't seem overpriced. They are obviously old, but my clothes were washed and dried well enough. This is the only reason I gave it two stars as opposed to one. read more

As I am in the middle of relocating, I found it necessary to find the safe and clean place to do my laundry. Ocean Breeze was an answer to my prayers. It's clean, machines are new, the carts work without any wobbling, and the owner is on site and attentive. So so happy I found this place! read more

5 stars for a laundry mat lol. I haven't been here in a couple of years! I was pleased to see it's been renovated! Everything is brand new and there's always someone here! I read a few reviews before coming in and was a bit turned off. This is now my second time coming here and I must say the place is clean and well kept. The washing Machines and dryers are new and also cleaned regularly by the owner. The owner by the way is quite friendly and helpful. The Only reason I'm not giving this place 5 stars is because I think the dryers are a bit expensive. read more

I'm not from the area, but I had to do some errands and this was close to the area. I was really worried because of the reviews, but I was pleasantly surprised when I came in. The owner was there helping people put away their clothes, cleaning, and making sure everything was running efficiently. I spent 5 weeks, twice a week at this laundromat since the end of February since my home front loader was being fixed- Every time it was clean, floors spotless, machines wiped down and working well. The carts and sink were clean as well. It has a couple tvs with remotes- great for keeping my son entertained. I also went early in the morning and felt safe as there as well. Jim, the owner, takes pride in his business- I've seen him help customers fold sheets, he's helped me several times to the car with my loads. The largest washer says it holds 6 loads (which are really 3 of my regular 4.5 cu. ft loads at home) -it cost $5 and worth every penny. (Regarding service) To the ass hat who may be the owner. I walked in to grab quarters and put them in my purse, forgot I had to run one more errand.. walking towards the door he steps in front of me asking where my laundry is. I told him in my car and he grabbed a basket and told me great he'd follow me to go get it. First of all I'm a bit younger and he made me very uncomfortable, so I exclaimed I was gonna run down to the bank then come back and he made me come back inside and wouldn't let me leave the premises with his quarters.. which I had paid for. I told him finally that's fine I'll just throw a load in now then if he didn't believe me I was coming back and he still tried getting me to give him the quarters back. Wtf man. I was being so nice and finally I asked why he was being so rude to me.. he then proceeded to bitch about how he always has to go get quarters. You ass I had laundry in my car and I ended up just taking off cause I didn't wanna do my laundry there anymore. Don't have a business if you're a rude grumpy asshole to people. I've been sick for a couple of weeks so I brought my clothes & comforters here to get everything nice and clean! Man, am I glad I made the right choice. This place is so awesome and convenient! The man, who I believe is the owner, came out and helped me bring my heeps of stuff in and explained his layout of the store and which would be best for me! I came in this morning to do my laundry but before I cart all of my stuff from my car, I always check to make sure they have change first. In the past I've gone to a laundry mat closer to my house and after lugging all of my clothes in I find out there is no change machines working. I would of continued to use that laundry mat but they closed. So this was the next closest one. Long story short, I go in and put my $20.00 bill in and mid way through it stops dropping quarters. Luckily the maintenance person was there so I asked for help. Instead of help I was told that I won't get my quarters because I didn't bring my laundry in. I said, what? He pointed to the camara above and said, it knows you have no laundry and I was only coming in for quarters. I tried explaining why I don't bring my laundry in first but he didn't care. He processed to say, I will give you your money back but you can't have my quarters. He wouldn't walk to my car (which was right out the door) to look in my trunk where my laundry was. I asked who the owner was and he went on with some stupid story about the pension owns it. Do you think I am that stupid to think that 1. The camera can determine if my laundry is in my car or not? 2. Do you think I don't know and or understand what I pension is? I'm old enough to know when an old man is trying to be funny. I will not be back to this location again. This would of been my second time there since my normal one closed. I would suggest taking a few customer service classes so you can learn how to be considerate to your customers. Don't forget, we paid your lease, to maintain your machines, and to kept your business up and running. You run people off like you did me, you'll be closing your doors soon enough and you extra income for you. read more

I live right across the street from this Laundry Mat location & I have not been there for over a year, it was always a mess. Trash on the floor, broken washing machines, homeless men hanging outside made it quite intimidating going at night. Tonight I had only a few things to wash so I decided to go in & cut the hassle of driving far. As soon as I pulled up I noticed there we're no homeless men drinking oitside, when i walked inside, no trash on the floor, now TV's & all the machines were working! There was a gentleman standing by genuinely helping people either handing them bags to pack their clean clothes in or making sure carts were available, even helping people carry their laundry to their cars Etc. Turns out he's the new owner.. His name is Jim. I mentioned to him what it was like before and he was aware, he said this is only the beginning of the changes that will be made. It is already a 360° change. I will definitely start coming here again! I never yelp but the fact that the owner himself is being hands on about making this place better is worth yelping about thanks Jim! :) read more

We ended up in the area during a long road trip and stopped here to do a load of laundry. I did a quick search for laundromats in the area and peeked at the reviews. This one looked close but some of the negative reviews said it was dirty and we were a little scared of that. The laundromat is actually very clean. Some weirdo posted pictures of how "filthy" it was because there were little pieces of paper and lint on the floor. I'm not sure where this nutcase came from but that happens at laundromats, and given the condition of other public spaces in the area I thought this place was exceptionally clean. There was literally a nice, professional looking older gentleman cleaning while we were there! Yup, people were watching videos on their phone and eating snacks, just like every other laundromat in the world. Big deal. I didn't see anyone setting up shop and carving a thanksgiving turkey, so I'm not sure what the complaints are about that either. Machines looked brand spankin' new and clean. The dryers were 6min a quarter which is more than were used to back home also. Would highly recommend! read more
