Now those familiar with the restrooms at Irvine Parks--they are not as nice here but they do the job. I posted pictures. Like those stainless steel toilets (like prison cells.) All restrooms are gender neutral so just pick one of the four clusted together. We walked from here 2.5 miles (5 miles R/T) on paved trails all the way to the beach in front of the Ritz Carlton at Laguna. It was a great walk with hills. No restrooms along the way until you get to the beach. It's not obvious what direction to walk in to get to the beach but if you ask enough people and some trial and error you will get there and remember how to get back. If I had my way I would paint a red line with arrows the entire way. Definetely coming back here again.

Just keep driving on till you see the signs for the playground and splash pad. The splash pad has smaller splashers on one end good for younger kids and bigger slashers more in the middle and the other end. I was worried about my toddler going under the buckets because the water comes down with pretty heavy force. My kid accidentally went under it and he shockingly didn't get splatted down. It's convenient that the playground is right next to the splash pad. The kids had a great time and my son has asked to come back already. We didn't have issues with parking mid week but I can imagine it may be tight on the weekend.

The added butterfly garden and its butterfly chairs make it more special. The soccer fields are filled with kids and adults playing sports. Today at around 3:15 pm there was some kind of party with small and older kids 5-12 years of age and just one parent supervising them. There was so much going on and the kids were all over the park so there's no way one mom could be able to pay attention to every single one. Some older kid stepped on my toddler while he was on the slide and clearly no one explained to him that's not what you're supposed to do when you're sharing a playground with someone else so we had to leave sooner than we planned to. Parents if you can't handle 10 kids at once by yourself don't bring them to public places like a park instead have a party in your backyard and be considerate to others if your kids can't behave and be nice. It is such an unusual thing to witness in such beautiful neighborhood and it's really frustrating we had to go through this today ourselves.

Every week the league sends out a newsletter to players of the week where the chosen players are celebrated for the work they've done on and off the court. It builds a great community and uplifts the girls. During the end of season celebrations, mother/daughter and father/daughter competitions created memories that will last a lifetime.
