We came to this park specifically for the splash pad. It's open from Memorial Day to Labor Day…read more It's a long park. Just keep driving on till you see the signs for the playground and splash pad. The splash pad has smaller splashers on one end good for younger kids and bigger slashers more in the middle and the other end. I was worried about my toddler going under the buckets because the water comes down with pretty heavy force. My kid accidentally went under it and he shockingly didn't get splatted down. It's convenient that the playground is right next to the splash pad. The kids had a great time and my son has asked to come back already. We didn't have issues with parking mid week but I can imagine it may be tight on the weekend.

The summers are filled with summer concerts that allow families to come together and the community to enjoy music, foods from foos trucks. Fall welcomes the halloween haunts where kids make memories that last a life time. I really love hidden spots in the botanical gardens for flower lovers like me can go and just enjoy mother nature. The added butterfly garden and its butterfly chairs make it more special. The soccer fields are filled with kids and adults playing sports. The community center adds that final touch with rooms that can be rented for special events, meetings, and downstairs is access to the heated pool. 5/5 I have attended a few private events at the community center and its a great addition to the area.

Today at around 3:15 pm there was some kind of party with small and older kids 5-12 years of age and just one parent supervising them. There was so much going on and the kids were all over the park so there's no way one mom could be able to pay attention to every single one. Some older kid stepped on my toddler while he was on the slide and clearly no one explained to him that's not what you're supposed to do when you're sharing a playground with someone else so we had to leave sooner than we planned to. Parents if you can't handle 10 kids at once by yourself don't bring them to public places like a park instead have a party in your backyard and be considerate to others if your kids can't behave and be nice. It is such an unusual thing to witness in such beautiful neighborhood and it's really frustrating we had to go through this today ourselves.

The positive changes I've seen in my kids go far beyond the mats. Through their training, they've developed real-life skills like discipline, respect, independence, responsibility, and accountability--and what truly stands out is that they don't just practice these values in class, they apply them every day at home, at school, and in public. Our boys genuinely look forward to every class, which speaks volumes about the environment and instruction at the academy. While they are absolutely developing strong physical skills and confidence, what impresses me most is the foundation of character being built. This academy is helping shape young people who are respectful, self-aware, and prepared for success both on and off the mat. One of my favorite moments as a parent is seeing the reactions of others when my 3- and 5-year-old naturally respond to adults by saying "sir" or "ma'am"--without any prompting. That level of respect is clearly being modeled and reinforced consistently. Royce Gracie Jiu-Jitsu Academy OC is more than a martial arts school--it's a place where kids grow into confident, respectful, and accountable individuals. I'm grateful for the impact it has had on my boys and highly recommend it to any parent looking for something truly meaningful for their children.

The garden displays plants from the Mediterranean climate regions of the world. Some of the ones included are an Australian garden, California, Chilean, Formal, Rose, and South African garden. I liked how many of the bushes or plants had plaques with the plant names, so you knew what you were looking at. The preserve was a maze of little paths with a fair amount of stair climbing and some steep parts. This might not be the best for high heels if on a date or for bringing an elderly parent who can't walk too far. I loved all the wildflowers abound. Some highlights were the rose garden, (more rustic than manicured) the lily pond, and bridge.
