My car needed to be baptised in water and soap as dirty as it was, so I knew I was going to have to be washed this weekend. Luckily, I saw a facebook ad for a free wash. Gave my cell and email address to get the free wash, and I was good to go! I ride down Broadway all the time, so to find this car wash pretty much across the street from many of the places I frequent was mind-blowing. I am just way too busy not to notice a whole car wash in my backyard! Ocean reminds me of Mister Car Wash. They do have detailing services where you get out the vehicle and go inside to wait for them to wash and detail the car. My ride is paid off and almost 10 years old. She doesn't need all that. My coupon was good for the most expensive wash, which was worth $20. Redemption was easy at the kiosk, which allowed me to scan my coupon. Once done, I jumped out my vehicle to collapse my side mirrors and into a line I went. It was a Saturday afternoon, and despite being probably 10 cars deep, the line went quickly. Wash was thorough and not too loud. I've gone through some really loud express washes before, and it almost sounded like gunshots hitting your car. Not the case at Ocean. Once you pull out, there are two attendants waiting to dry your car off. They're quick and left my car spotless. Only gripe is no vacuum area, but if you're looking for a great car wash without lifting a finger to clean, Ocean is the wave to go! read more

Really decent full service car wash with detail crews. First one I've seen like this in Texas and I'm glad to finally find a spot that does inside and outside car wash services!! Not bad for the prices and they even have a full service oil change within the same location. So if your limited for time and such, you can get everything in one place done!! Really poor service. Went in today 3 mins after they opened for an interior clean. I paid and walked to nearest coffee shop. Asked about the status after 40 mins was told my car would be attended next. Waited another 40 mins and then had had still not touched the car. I was told I need to wait another 1 hr before they could finish. I said I couldn't not wait any longer and wanted a refund. There were apologies and I was refunded the money. If I'm paying $23 for a full service price, I expect it to be dry and clean. I had to send it back twice for vacuuming and to make sure it was dry. I actually would rather pay less and vacuum it out myself, that way I know it's done right and the way I like it. read more

This place is great for a quick wash. I'd go somewhere else for interior cleaning. It costs $45.99 for a super clean, but the automated system doesn't clean the bottom side and wheel well of a standard sedan. I have a Honda accord and my interior is dirty on the driver side with light to no dirt on the front passenger side. Nothing in the backseat but maybe residual dust from the AC running. I work in a construction zone, so mud/dust is pretty much all over my driver side. The result of my car wash was equivalent to a $20 wash and vacuum with a dash wipe down. I asked them to super re-clean my car after I inspected all the door jambs and center console. They were nice about it. The super clean includes blow out of small crevices, but I think that just made things fly everywhere. I think they needed to do the blowout before they vacuumed the car so they don't have to revacuum it. The underside rinse, is exactly like it sounds -a rinse. It doesn't really clean or help with maybe the wheel well area. It's just enough to get some dust from the middle 2 feet of your car lol Overall pretty happy with the wash. I like the coupons so I end up going here. My first experience was great and has slowly fallen off since then. When they shampoo my seats, it's great. The car wash itself is ok. They run it through the tunnel and just dry it afterwards. Not a lot of cleaning spots missed by the machine which is usually the tires. I also tend to find little black dots all over my car. I'm not sure what part of their process does that. It comes right off if you pick at it. But what is it?! I'll probably return until I can find a better option for my car washes. read more

Used to get my truck washed there every single weekend it was a ritual, until my roof drip molding got ripped off and they did not want to replace it, the part is literally 70$ and they rather lose a customer that spends hundreds a year on car washes. Sam was very disrespectful saying my truck is more than 7 years old,so they will not replace it. Majority of the vehicles on the road are 7 years plus older. This place just lost several good customer. Used to get both my cars express washed for $6 so I spent 12$ a week on washes x 52 weeks means I spend at least $624 a year with them and they can't replace a $70 part. read more

I wasted a Sunday afternoon here watching a manager chit chat with his employees and an inexperienced staff (not all) take 20 minutes to dry each car, which let me add was already dry because it had been sitting in the sun for 45 minutes waiting to be dried. With all of the car washes being opened, your reputation is all you have to live on nowadays. I'm not asking for anything for this review but I just want the owner to do better. It's so simple, just put people in place that hold others accountable. Ocean Car Wash I'm only one person but you lost a customer for life. I usually like to give a place a second chance if I receive bad service. You don't want to give an establishment a poor rating because one bad employee or bad service etc. How about every time I come. I normally don't come to this place for a car wash unless I absolutely must (due to a time constraint). My car wash (or car washes of choice) are all in the downtown area. Here's what is wrong: 1) poor car cleaning service - especially for one of their more costlier services 26.99 (aka $27.00). 2) I had a coupon which comes every few weeks in the mail but the one I grabbed was expired by a week. In my opinion it's the same coupon that I'll receive in a few weeks anyway with a new expiration date. A good customer service rep would have just honored the coupon but they said it was expired and couldn't honor it. Even supermarkets and looks fast food chains accept coupons (even if it's expired) 3) The customer service reps were texting and talking on the phone rather than being attentive to patrons. Worst establishment I've been to on three separate occasions. I do not recommend this place to anyone. read more

The customer waiting area is very nice with faux leather chairs, bar tables with tall chairs, complimentary coffee, snack machines, clean restrooms, and TV. After I had spoken with Malone, he showed me footage and explained to me how the scratches couldn't have happened at their shop. In my opinion, you shouldn't try to rectify a problem, and then blame me as to why I didn't see the scratches when I left even though I was brought to my car with the door open. He also, told me that corporate wasn't going to deal with the issue, but he would buff the scratches out himself with no 100% guarantee. I appreciated the gesture to fix it but this location lacks urgency with these types of things. I told Malone that I did not want to get the scratches fixed until I spoke with corporate. Only because, if my car is even more damaged, I would like for someone to be responsible. These whole conversation happened Saturday, he said someone from corporate would call me that same day. It's now, Tuesday and I still had not heard back. I was originally told that Adam or Colin would contact me, instead Malone did. I have also emailed the colinoceancarwashtx email address and still no one gets back with. I would like someone from corporate to contact me. Ridiculous!!! Waited more than an hour for a basic wash. Was told the wait would be long because the staff was scheduled off because of expected rain. The workers that were there were totally rushed and overwhelmed. If you do not have the staff needed to run efficiently and effectively, why not remain closed for the day? I was recommended by a few family members about ocean carwash, I don't know if it was a hot day or the crew were getting tired, but my car was for the most part clean except for some spots. I don't expect a deep clean, but leaving water spots and dust on windows, mirrors and dashboards is not what I paid for. read more

Got the triple package deal for seat, carpet, and interior cleaning (shampoo etc.). The cleaning job wasn't very good, had to re-clean a few things myself afterwards (they didn't clean the center console, and they left an oily residue all over the dash & doors) - but my biggest issue is the fact that I got a bad mildew smell in the car afterwards. Apparently I was supposed to leave the windows open for 24 hours after the cleaning, but they didn't tell me this when I picked it up. I called them 2 days later after trying to dry out the car and get rid of the smell myself, and they told me they wouldn't do anything to resolve it. I should have spent an extra $40 and bought my own shampoo machine, done the job myself. Would not have come here if I knew the service would be like this. read more

I assumed, as most places, that would wipe downeverything as I stated i needed, apparently that only means dash and doors which still weren't done properly. Went in to have the state safety inspection done. My car was pulled into the bay, 5 minutes later then service tech came in to tell me that my brakes needed to be done in order for my car to pass inspection.... My car had the brakes done by the dealership (OEM) and they had less than 20,000 miles on them. Women be careful before you go here they think that we know nothing about cars... I've become a regular here, but because I was lied to today, I will not be back. Came in for an oil change, was told that I needed to replace an air filter for $26. I said sure, is the part here? Mechanic said YES! 30 longs later and no one is working on my car, no updates of any type, I had to ask attendant what was going on?? Then was told that the part had to come from down the street!! Why would a customer want to wait that long for a minor part? Why did that not warn the customer about the time frame? Is dishonesty worth the commission that would come from up selling a product? No ones seemed to care at all that I had been lied to. I also had to wait 20 more mins for the car to be washed. I'm so disappointed and will not be back. Time and honesty and trust are extremely important, especially since I have to change my oil every 6 weeks because of the miles I drive. Don't go here for Brake Service. I took in my vehicle because the brakes were making a squeaky noise and for oil change. The oil change was quick along with the included carwash but the brake service was not good. The first issue was them trying to put my tires back on. They claimed my tire studs were stripped from the beginning and weren't able to get the lug nuts back on. I was called to look at the issue and I saw them trying to force a lug nut on the stud and did damage to the stud as I watched. The manager told me I had to leave with 4 of the lug nuts missing from my front tires, which I consider a hazard. I told him that wasn't an issue I had before and after a while of discussing the problem he told me to wait and he would replace the studs. The manager got condescending towards me and after 4 hours later I got my vehicle back only to hear the same squeaking. Apparently the crew had only done a visual inspection of the rear wheels brakes and not removed them at all to see if the brake shoes were ok. After they removed the rear wheels I was told my brake shoes were ok and just had brake dust accumulated and they cleaned them. The employee who had sold me on this service told me that removing the rear wheels is usually a half hour of labor extra. After the second time of me returning it and the manager assuring me he had tested the vehicle for any squeaking I then drove the vehicle to still hear a minor squeak. I can only assume this is due to the rear shoes not being replaced. By this time it was near closing time and I didn't want to spend another minute there. I still have the squeaking issue. read more

I got the basic Ocean Breeze wash for $16.99. The cashier was very polite and friendly. However, the overall experience and car wash quality will keep me from returning. After 30 minutes of waiting, the car had not yet gone through the wash. Once the car went through the wash, it sat in the sun with soapy water for over 20 minutes, leaving soap spots on the car. The attendant had to re-wet the exterior to remove the soap suds. At the one hour mark, the attendant was offered cash by another customer and left my car mid-dry. Once he returned, he scrubbed my tires and got the residue of the dirty brush and product all over my rims. Because I had not paid for the rims to be included in my wash, he refused to clean up the dirt he got on them. Once the attendant told me the car was ready, I walked around and saw the rear bumper and trunk were still wet. I recommend taking your $20 and getting a speedier and better quality wash elsewhere. I would give this car wash a 0 if able. read more
