I didn't expect much because it was reasonably priced wasn't the usual busy hotel you'd find on the water. There's a dock out back and a beach to dangle your feet in while you enjoy a beer. There's a pool and jacuzzi. The staff is very friendly. There is a very pleasant young lady and the front desk, Sheri, who is very personable that always has a wonderful smile to greet you in the morning to get my coffee. I'll tell you that alone makes my day. This was such a fantastic find.

So I turned to my Hilton Honors App to find a suitable hotel that would split my riding time into a more pleasurable and relaxing experience. That's how I found this Hampton Inn in Fort Pierce. I originally was looking for one in the Viera / Melbourne area but found this one to be quite a bit cheaper - plus it would put me about 75 miles closer to home and make for a shorter ride the following day. I made my reservation on the HH App. I arrived just as the sun was setting. I parked my bike next to the entrance out of the way, and checked in using the HH App. I chose the top floor because I figured it would be the quietest. I was greeted by the clerk at the front desk as I walked in and I told her I'd already checked in. She wished me a pleasant good evening. I arrived at my room, and again used my HH App, I unlocked my door via their digital key (these Apps are incredible!). My room was clean. It had a microwave, a mini refrigerator, and a wide screen television. There was a table in the corner with a light and an office chair. I was really tired and after taking a quick shower, and turning the a/c down to 68 degrees (remember it's Florida), I headed for the bed to watch some Saturday night football. I didn't watch much football, but I did have a wonderful night's sleep. The next morning, I checked out using my HH App, and the front clerk wished me a happy day as I was leaving. I was very satisfied with my stay here and will probably stay here again in my future travels.

The room itself was fine. Although the one double bed was small, there was also a pull-out sofa in the room. It was nice to have a fuller size refrigerator, microwave, and a kitchen with silverware, etc. along with a coffee maker. The bathroom had a shower only (sink and toilet of course, too), but that was fine. The hotel itself is only about 8 months old, so everything is fairly new. We didn't use any housekeeping services for the couple days we were there, but we didn't need anything. Breakfast is included with the hotel stay. There are a number of choices of breakfast sandwiches and a breakfast empanada, too along with cold and hot cereals, hard boiled eggs, yogurt, and waffles, as well as muffins and breads to toast. This was a nice added value. A nice touch was a water bottle refill station right outside of the exercise room. And for families, they also have a laundry room attached to the fitness center which is a nice convenience. We'd stay here again if next in the area and needed to be nearby.

Their bed and pillows are very comfortable although I am having an issue with my neck and back, it not them it's me. The one issue I had last night was getting up multiple times to adjust the thermostat several times only to figure out it doesn't go below 68. When you live in South Florida and suffer from extreme heat flashes at night this can equal to a restless night. Again, its my problem not theirs. I will continue to stay here when visiting family.

It had double access one from our room and the entry was location in the living room. This place all the amenities for you to stay for a week, towels, dishwasher liquid, coffee maker, etc... the location is right on the beach and the access is a short walk. The beach is so pretty and is private. The staff was helpful and very responsive. We would definitely stay again! There is a pool & gym, we did not use it because we spent the whole day at the beach!
