The suite had a living room with Netflix, Amazon Prime and drawer full of movies. Full kitchen and patio outside. The bed was king size with beautiful soft and hard pillows. The bathroom had a whirlpool tub and glass enclosure shower. Only thing wish it had grab bars in shower and whirlpool pool tub. The pool was a few steps away surrounded by palm trees and the lobby in the main building and had snacks for free. Cold soda and water, pretzels, chips and candy jar all free. The breakfast was superb with spinach and cheese quiche. Fresh fruit; kiwi, tangerines and apples. Coffee and Tea and yogurt, chocolate muffins, English muffins and choice of juice. It's considered one of the oldest homes in Lake Worth and has a fascinating history, including its transformation from a crack house to a vibrant B&B.  Here's a more detailed look: Google AI * Early History: The Mango Inn was built in 1915 and was once the home of a former Lake Worth Mayor.  * Transformation: In the late 1990s, the building was a crack house with significant city code violations.  * Rebirth as a B&B: In the late 1990s, Erin and Bo purchased the property and transformed it into the Mango Inn, a bed and breakfast that opened during Christmas week of 1996.  * Community Impact: The inn is credited with contributing to the revitalization of downtown Lake Worth, with Erin and Bo playing active roles in the community's development.  * Unique Features: The Mango Inn features a spacious living room with a photo album detailing its history, and it's known for its welcoming atmosphere where guests can enjoy meals, drinks, and conversation * Rebirth as a B&B: In the late 1990s, Erin and Bo purchased the property and transformed it into the Mango Inn, a bed and breakfast that opened during Christmas week of 1996.  * Community Impact: The inn is credited with contributing to the revitalization of downtown Lake Worth, with Erin and Bo playing active roles in the community's development.  * Unique Features: The Mango Inn features a spacious living room with a photo album detailing its history, and it's known for its welcoming atmosphere where guests can enjoy meals, drinks, and conversation I awoke the next morning and realized it was not a dream but it was real thing. Lovely breakfast, tropical oasis in quaint historic downtown Lake Worth Beach. Spent the weekend in the Mango Suite. Cozy. Walked a few quick blocks to downtown for good eats, shopping and art. Back to the hotel for a swim in the pool and a soak in the gigantic bathtub...back to the grind tomorrow feeling refreshed and rejuvenated. Lovely retreat one hour from Fort Lauderdale.

My experience at Crane's Beach House Boutique Hotel & Luxury Villas was one of the most…read moreinhospitable & poorly managed hotel experiences I have ever had. Before arrival, I was never informed that my room would be located on the second floor with stair-only access & no elevator assistance. Traveling with a service animal while displaced due to active home renovations, repeatedly carrying luggage up and down steep stairs alone was physically exhausting. Accessibility limitations should be disclosed upfront. Despite displaying a clearly visible "Do Not Disturb" sign, housekeeping disturbed &/or attempted to enter my room at approximately 9:00AM on multiple occasions. Being repeatedly awakened after specifically requesting privacy is unacceptable, especially for a property marketing itself as boutique luxury. The most concerning part of my stay was the treatment I received from the front desk employee, Ryan. Nearly every interaction felt hostile, combative, & entirely lacking in professionalism or hospitality. After initially booking one night, I extended my stay due to delays with my home renovations. Immediately after booking, I received a phone call aggressively informing me that I still had to check out at noon & could not check back in until 4:00PM. This occurred multiple times throughout my stay despite online inventory consistently showing available rooms of the SAME ROOM TYPE the night before & during the day I rebooked. There appeared to be no legitimate operational reason to repeatedly force a paying guest to vacate for hours while managing luggage, stairs, & a service animal. The repeated forced check-outs & room changes felt unnecessarily rigid & punitive. At one point I genuinely felt less like a guest & more like they were doing me a favor. I normally don't pay to stay somewhere that feels like a prison. The handling of my service animal was equally inappropriate. During one of the early morning housekeeping disturbances, my service dog barked after being startled awake. Within approximately 30 seconds, I received a phone call demanding that I "register my dog." I explained that it was a service animal, which I had already disclosed during check-in. Instead of acknowledging that, I was interrupted and asked, "You mean an emotional support animal?" I again clarified that it was a service animal. The interaction felt dismissive, uninformed, and inappropriate given the hospitality industry's basic obligations regarding service animals. On my final reservation, housekeeping again attempted to enter my room around 9:00AM despite the "Do Not Disturb" sign remaining posted. When I addressed it with the office, I was falsely told that I had supposedly informed staff I would be checking out at 6:00 AM. What I had actually explained was that I preferred a first-floor room because repeatedly carrying luggage down stairs alone at 6:00AM was difficult. Cleanliness was also a major issue. I stayed in three different rooms, and every room had visibly dirty floors. My socks became dirty simply from walking around the rooms. More concerning, the AC vents appeared covered with black buildup and heavy dust, raising serious concerns about cleanliness, maintenance, & indoor air quality. Regretfully, I gave the property another chance & booked an additional two-night reservation because my roof renovation was still unfinished. Almost immediately after booking, I received another disruptive phone call informing me I would again have to fully check out, change rooms, and wait until 4:00 PM to re-check in. After days of repeated disruptions, room changes, & hostile interactions, I requested that the reservation be canceled. I was initially told "no." Only after escalating my frustration vocally did staff suddenly agree to contact Expedia & process the refund. What makes the experience more disappointing is that the gentleman who originally checked me in was genuinely pleasant & professional along with the housekeeping manager. Unfortunately, every interaction afterward became increasingly adversarial. This property failed in accessibility transparency, privacy, professionalism, cleanliness, flexibility, and customer service. The repeated room transfer demands, mishandling of a service animal situation, visibly dirty conditions, apparent mold buildup around vents, & hostile front desk interactions made the entire stay exhausting & stressful. This establishment does not deserve the title of "boutique luxury." I strongly caution travelers, especially those with accessibility needs, respiratory sensitivities, or service animals, to stay elsewhere. HOTEL'S RESPONSE TAKES NO ACCOUNTABILITY, DISREGARDS THE REAL ISSUES & MAKES EXCUSES.

I am SO glad I found this place! I went to Miami for a concert and wanted to make a mini vacation…read moreout of my road trip, so opted to stay here for its proximity to the beach (just a block away!). I got so much more than I expected from that decision! I prefer boutique/villas like this over chain hotels in smaller towns and absolutely got the relaxing, low key, "no worries" vibe as they have on the gate of the entrance. Just steps away from the downtown strip of Delray Beach, you can easily access the restaurants and shopping if you choose, but you can also get lost in the serenity of their lush tropical courtyard and pool areas, or even the private patio of your own room! I felt like I was in my own little world while there- it was a perfect contrast after driving into Miami! The room was well appointed with comfy furniture, plenty of space without being overwhelming, everything I'd need in the kitchenette, and a spacious bathroom. All had nice updates and thoughtful touches. The snacks and chilled beverages available for purchase, as well as variety of coffee, tea, water, etc that were complimentary was perfect. There was plenty of information about local services and attractions without being gimmicky or touristy as many places where I'm from in Orlando can be. They even provided a sheet with events specific to the timing of my stay, which was a nice touch. The staff was amazing-- so kind and helpful! I asked how it would work if I got in late after the concert since the lobby closes at 9. We were able to do an earlier check in to get the key code and information, parking pass, handle credit card for incidentals, etc on my drive down so I had nothing to worry about when I arrived later. I was able to park and access my room after the concert with ease. I did also appreciate that even though I was staying there alone after dropping my friend off with family nearer to Miami, I felt completely safe as a solo female traveler. There was lighted parking, a code on the gate to enter the property, and a key code for my door to my room. I enjoyed some time at the pool and walking the block to the beach for sunrise during my stay as well! I appreciated the hospitality and would absolutely recommend staying here to anyone traveling through the area!
