I randomly found Patrick Haines from doing a Google search & after quite a few failed attempts to find anyone open on a Monday. Lo & behold he was open and had one appointment left so I promptly booked. When I walked into his modern pristine studio, I immediately felt at ease. Not only could I feel positivity throughout the room, but Patrick was radiating. He smiled & greeted me and immediately put me at ease. We discussed my pain & my scoliosis and he adamantly asserted that he was going to fix me. Not just alleviate my pain, but straighten my spine. He trained with an Olympian turned healer; he himself was a professional soccer player; and he's trained under a master healer in Eastern Medicine. I believed him & was ecstatic to have found him. He worked on me with expert hands. He used a technique he coined and created called insertion point. It felt as if he opened up doors in my spine and back as he described his acupressure technique on my meridians. He educated me along the way. The whole experience was so positive, and I felt different afterward. I felt more opened like my lungs could take in more air and I was very clear. My pain melted away & I felt so tall & strong. When I got home my husband said I looked taller & straighter. I've already scheduled my next few appointments. Patrick said it wouldn't take long, like maybe 6 weeks or less until I was straighter and healed. Until I met him I was planning on traveling to NYC to do physical therapy with a Schroth trained physical therapist to straighten my curvature and heal me. Now we have a true healer right here in our sleepy little beach town who recently relocated from the west, to his hometown--what a Godsend. I told them regular multiple times and they tried to up charge me for deep tissue after I specifically said no I don't want deep tissue multiple times. They also have shorted me 5-10 minutes from the massage time every time I've been recently. I kept going thinking it would get better and maybe it was a rough patch but it hasn't. Pretty disappointed. To top it off they griped about a 30% tip even with the issue above - mind blowing. I guess it's time to find another company.

The masseuse's phone rang in the middle and he actually left to take a phone call. There was no technique and I am almost positive he is not a licensed therapist. He pretty much just slathered me in oil. This is my first and only massage where I was ready to be done halfway thru. I am disappointed the owner doesn't oversee and/or screen her employees more.
