Student Massage- this was an excellent experience. This student was better than several therapists I've been to. They really teach their students excellent draping, excellent technique. Room had others getting massages, however, lights were dim and music was great. I energized, relaxed, and the pain in my left shoulder and arm were gone. There is nothing better than getting a massage for one hour for $35. Most of the students have been very good. When you find an exceptional student, you ask for them every single time that you get massages until they graduate. It's so nice knowing that you can pay $70 for two hour massage. The facility is super clean, and not sure what the girls name is behind the desk with the long blondish hair, but she is so courteous and pleasant. Just makes it a super great experience. read more

Student Massage - great price, great massage. I have visited Space coast massage for several years now but have not written a review since the beginning of COVID. Prior to 2019 I would book a licensed therapist for an hour long massage. My wife talked me into trying a student massage for a fraction of the price. It is different in many ways. Check in is at a different window on the right hand side as you enter the lobby. Your temperature is checked on your wrist. You are asked if you have or have had recently any flu symptoms. Then at your appointed time, a student therapist comes out and takes you to the changing room and give you instructions about changing and meeting outside the changing room with a towel around you. They take you back to a large room with massage tables separated by sheets. You lie on the table and are covered by a sheet and the towel is removed. My student therapist was very professional and it was an excellent massage. Once complete, you exchange the sheet for the towel and are taken back to the changing room and given an evaluation form to fill out for the therapist. This experience may not be for you if you don't like to be in a communal type room getting a massage. Overall, it was an excellent experience and I plan to return soon. read more

I am updating my review and giving a 1 star. My fiancé tried surprising me with a couples massage for this Sunday (the 15th) and I randomly got a text about confirming the appointment. He is so upset that you guys literally ruined his surprise for me. I am writing this in case any one else is planning a surprise for their significant other. Beautiful atmosphere, very courteous people, wonderful massage therapists! I have been coming here for a month & the first LMT that I saw did wonders to my back & muscles. Then just this week (after coming every week for a month), my therapist was out sick. They asked me if I wanted to reschedule or come into one of their other professionals. As much as I like my LMT, I love my massages & hated to miss a weekly massage so I took them up on their offer & tried a new LMT. This massage therapist was professional, courteous & great with the hands! I left being as pleased as ever. While visiting my daughter in Melbourne, I was treated to a wonderful birthday surprise....massage, mani, pedi and facial at Space Coast Spa. Yes, I DO have amazing children! My massage was with Shelly, and she was awesome. She actually worked as a massage therapist for the Florida Marlins during the time when they won the World Series, so that says a lot about her experience. I got the relaxation massage. Shelly was so friendly and kind, and I was totally relaxed by the end of the session. My mani and pedi were done by Tina. She was so sweet and funny, and did a thorough and very professional job. I really enjoyed talking with her and getting to know her. Finally, my facial session was with Maddi. Maddi was so amazing in her techniques and explanations of how each product she used would benefit my skin. I was glowing by the end of the treatment, and my skin was so soft and hydrated. I have to say, overall, I couldn't have asked for a more relaxing and enjoyable experience. From the front desk staff to each technician I worked with, they were all super friendly and professional. My husband and I went here for a quick anniversary treat in July for a couples massage. We waited til the last minute to book something and this place was the only place I could get into on such short notice for a 90 minute couples massage. I wish I could remember the guy's name who massaged me. I was NOT happy with his service...I specifically asked him NOT to massage my legs as I am extremely ticklish there and to just focus on my neck, back & feet. HE MASSAGED MY LEGS. I was not happy when I left there. Maybe he was new, I'm not sure. My husband said he'd had much better massages at other places as well. I'm sure some regulars have specific masseuses that are much better...so if you go, make sure you get a recommendation by name!!! Not to mention the place looks run down, the rooms looks straight out of the 80's with the ugly brown ceiling fan & wood door. I definitely wouldn't give this place as a recommendation to friends, there are much better places at competitive prices. I'm editing this because of the response below. I know exactly where I was and I take offense that it was even suggested that I did not. That is a cop out for your outdated "spa". Just because the dim lighting made your wood doors look brown not gray. Really? I was at the corner of S. Wickham & Sheridan. There is no other massage therapy place at that intersection that I know of. I stand by what I wrote and I'll add if you'd like a really relaxing experience where the therapists actually listen to you, I'd highly recommend Hand & Stone Massage on N. Wickham. They have amazing therapists, everything feels fresh, clean, new and updated. I go there a minimum of once, sometimes twice a month for an amazing massage and/or facial. David is the Best Massage therapist I've found in this area. I've spent a ton of money in hopes to eliminate my pain. Botox, trigger point injections, nerve blocks And even my nerves burned. Since seeing him weekly David has helped decrease my pain and has kept my flare ups under control. One more important aspect is my quality of life. Second visit to this place was Today. I had been suffering extreme discomfort from back injury and pinched nerve for about a week. I decided to book an appointment with Stephan, who I've had in the past. By end of massage I could feel a difference in my mobility and level of pain. As the day went on my range of motion increased. Was sore and stressed from moving 1/2 across the country and was looking for a place. They were able to accommodate 2 of us for the same time slot on short notice. Nice place and relaxing. I've been getting massages for 15yrs by the same masseuse at my previous address so I compare to her. Here my masseuse had a different technique but hit the sore spots all the same. She found spots I didn't even know hurt til she started rubbing on them. The only reason I didn't give it 5 stars is because she didn't massage my head and face and tend to hold a lot of tension in those areas. I will go back, but next time I will request the face and head and I'll also request to play my own playlist. They played the typical instrumental music, but it was quiet and you could hear both of our stomachs growling....lol. read more

I paid the extra price to have an actual therapist instead of a student and also paid extra for a deep tissue, and I gotta say it was the worst massage I've ever had. I asked for more pressure she said where and I said everywhere and it felt exactly the same. Never went back again. Also for a school their prices are expensive. read more

Today was my third visit for massage and I'm thankful to say third time is a charm! Luz was professional and relaxed and I thanked her for asking me if there was anywhere I would like focused work. I knew when she began she would deliver a good massage. Her palpating skills were good and she has a diverse set of strokes. Her work was detailed and firm which my fatigued forearms appreciated. The other two before her asked me if I was "sure" I wanted a deep tissue service and then delivered the exact same Swedish service with no check ins on pressure and no focused work. The first one didn't even ask if I wanted focused work but she had some very nice strong steamroller strokes that relieved a lot of tension. The second one didn't ask but I told her where I wanted work and she did not deviate from the standard Swedish service. Today I can say I feel awesome thanks to Luz and her skilled hands! She's s keeper, made my next appt before I left. read more
