There's complimentary toothbrushes, shower caps, plastic baggies for wet garments, towels, hair dryer etc. Outdoor hot tub area is private and beautiful. Waiting area has regular chairs and lounge chairs where you can sip on mimosa, tea, or some juice. Massage with Ashley was phenomenal. Felt all the teacher stress melt away. Will certainly make this a frequent occurrence. Thank you Sandalwood!

I booked three services together for an efficient spa day, but waited about 45 minutes for my second service. My nail appointment then ran so long that I was late for my final service. Apparently relaxation requires patience. ‍Waxing: Just OK for the price. Pleasant technician, but the work wasn't very thorough. Once I was in better lighting, I noticed quite a few hairs left behind. Mani/Pedi: Nope. I paid $120 for their top-of-the-line mani/pedi, and despite taking a full two hours, the service itself was surprisingly superficial. The technician seemed uncertain, worked very slowly, and didn't have the sponge needed for the French ombré gel manicure I requested. The pedicure had no polish, my toenails weren't buffed despite my specifically requesting it, and quite a bit of thick skin around the nails was left behind. I actually went home and finished the pedicure myself -- not quite the pampering finale I had envisioned. The technician replaced the hand and foot massage with a superficial application of lotion. By then, after two hours, I was late for my next service and just ready to move on. ‍Massage with Shannon: Absolutely. This was the redeeming service. I had a wonderful deep-tissue massage and body scrub that put me into a deep state of relaxation. The temple pressure during the scalp portion was too strong for me and took a few reminders to lighten up, but everything else was excellent. Shannon even turned on the shower for me afterward and brought me a fresh robe -- thoughtful touches that made a difference. Bottom line: Massage with Shannon? I'd go back. Waxing? Just OK for the price. Mani/pedi? Nope.

Great prices and it was honestly nice having the ladies get on the table and put their back into it! So we cancelled our pismo memberships and decided to stay local. The first couple massages were nice. But lately, something's changed. The last few times I've gone they always seem distracted. Their phones are ringing and they have to leave in the middle of the massage. Multiple times!! Then one of the ladies is yawning the whole time. LOL!! Today a lady was wearing a rain-like jacket and every time she moved it would just rub against the material and it was just super loud. I guess when you go to a place with "relaxation" in its name you figure you could at least do that. Kind of a bummer but not sure if I'll give them another chance. It's been not so great the last 3 times we've gone. Bummer. Maybe paying more is worth peace and quiet.

We had been living in the area for about half a year, and I was super skeptical about this place. We have tried several other places in the area, but none we were really happy with. It wasn't until my husband decided to give this place a try and persuaded me. The place is exactly what you would imagine a massage parlor in the mall would be like. It's simple, can get a big loud with kids running and screaming outside. However, everything is clean and tidy. They have the usual relaxing music plus the mini waterfall machine or whatever you call it, both going at the same time to help drown out the noise. The star of the show here is of course the massage itself. Every time we have been here, even with different people we have gotten, everyone has been very consistent with their techniques, knows exactly where all the knots and tight spots that need the extra attention are. They specifically focus on them until they feel like the knots have been resolved. Don't be shy to ask them to move on or be a little gentle. Overall, the price is extremely reasonable. We don't care much for anything fancy as long as we feel like the massage helped. They also offer loyalty program where they give you a stamp card for each massage you get. After 6 or 8 (i can't remember exactly) massages, you'll get a free one of the equivalent, even more reasons for us to come back.

I feel is my duty to leave this review, I pay for 30 minutes massage they only did 12 minutes and charge as 30. When I try to show the lady that charge me for 30 minutes she started screaming been upset, I try showing her the time of my text n she show me a piece of paper were she had wrote 8:41pm. I said can u at lest hear me out n told her is not like I was expecting her to do the right thing n refund me the other half or even worse allow her to give me the rest of the massage, I just wanted to show her my evidence n she will not allow me and kept talking in her language to the other two ladies. This happen yesterday June 25 at 8:59 pm n my massage was over at 9:12pm. My sister n dad that were having a 30 minutes massage in the beds at the planet fitness were still at their massage. They were the one that made me realize my massage was less then 15 minutes, I'm not from California, I will not recommend this place not even one star.

The only thing that was unsettling was that a man came out from the back and took the payment, he then proceeded to say "tip her" and it was just the way he said it and how awkward it made the room. Granted my husband was going to tip her anyway, but to demand a tip in an aggressive manner was uncomfortable. It gave us reason to believe that that is the only form of payment to these women and the man keeps most of their earnings. Whatever the case may be, tipping is a gratitude not an expectation and I can't help but wonder what would have happened if my husband or anyone else in that position for that matter had no intentions of tipping.
