Scott and Ana were wonderful! They listened to what we needed/wanted and we couldn't believe that they fit both tables in our hotel room. It was a great couples' massage for our mini-getaway to Avila Beach. I removed 1 star not for Ana and Scott, but the fact that the website didn't mention there was a $12 travel fee so yes, the masseuse will come to you, but there was a fee on top of the cost of the massage. Mentioning that in an obvious place on the website would be helpful. read more

They came to our room at the San Luis Bay Inn to do a couples massage for us and both were very professional, intuitive, friendly, and definitely knew what they were doing! Even though the weather wasn't great and it was raining, they still made it. Everything they did was on point. Consistent even pressure over the right areas of the muscles. Every movement and timing was smooth and just right before I thought I would be in pain, my body went into utter relaxation. When she got to my neck, she turned my head side to side as she went over my neck and shoulders- something I've never experienced and wished everyone else would do. Glenna arrived in plenty of time before our appointment to set up, and she asked all the needed questions to make sure my massage was just what I needed. 2 masseuse came to our hotel Avila La Fonda, and brought everything. This was my 2nd massage and it was great. However, my it was my boyfriends massage. He wasn't a big fan. Since it was his first massage he didn't know what to expect or what to do when getting a massage. He said that the massage was too hard in pressure. His masseuse didn't ask him throughout the massage how the pressure was but my masseuse did ask me throughout the massage. I was a little sad to hear that he didn't have a good first massage/experience. The 2 masseuse did do a great job in bringing all supplies and etc. they also know our hotel very well. I scheduled an in-room massage back in October while on vacation in Avila and it was wonderful! I am used to getting a massage about once a month but had not gotten one since shelter in place regulations. As regulations lifted I traveled to Avila as my first excursion out of the house in a long while, and wanted to treat myself. I was very nervous about what to expect but Glenna was amazing and made me feel very comfortable and secure about the process and that she would be wearing a mask the whole time and explained her sanitization process. I think proceeded to get the most wonderful massage I have ever had. She melted away all my stress, and even focused a little extra time on a few problem areas around my neck and shoulders. We joked that for my vacation she "gave me my ears back" instead of having my shoulders hunched up near them from being on the computer the whole time. When we asked for a massage therapist recommendation while vacationing in Avila Beach, the homeowner of our rental house recommended we call Glenna. Boy, are we glad we did! Four of us got massages and we all loved them! Glenna was gracious and helpful with scheduling and communication. And the ease of having Jennifer, Madeleine, and Lorne come to the house with all their equipment (including a towel warmer for heated towels) was fabulous. I treated myself to a 2-hour deluxe massage and Lorne gave me the absolute, hands-down best massage I have ever had in my life. I told him that if there was an Olympic massage competition, he'd be the gold medalist!! I have had back and shoulder issues for years and in 2 hours, Lorne was able to loosen, open, and relax my locked up shoulder and back muscles more than they have loosened over several years with regular massage.
