While Ocean Springs bid was higher than some, Armando's communication and esthetic sense of what was required was compelling. I was very reluctant about who to hire to re plaster my pool. It had been 2 years it was sitting. I shopped around and came across Ocean Springs, everything from the office to the hard workers who did the demolition, plaster, tile, cleaning, etc were beyond fantastic. The service was so fast I didn't get a chance to process how it happened. Liz who mainly was in communication with me was very reliable and honest over the phone and text! She made sure all of my questions were answered and I was properly notified when they would be doing the work. I contacted this company to clear the jets in my spa. I already had a good idea of what the issue was, but instead of listening, they focused on inspecting unrelated areas and insisted the problem was due to dirty filters--even though I clearly explained the jets weren't working even when the filters were clean. Eventually, they emailed me saying they weren't the right company for the job--which, in hindsight, was accurate. My regular pool guy came shortly after, vacuumed out water from the spa's airline, cleared out debris in the jets, and now they're working perfectly. I was surprised that a company presenting itself as professional couldn't diagnose such a simple issue, and even more disappointing that they didn't take the time to listen to the customer who already understood the problem. read more

Armando and his team were great. He had some helpful suggestions in term what to do with our huge 40 year old pool. We ended up shrinking it into a SPOOL and adding grass around it to cool down the backyard. We could not enjoy the yard in the summer, which was all concrete and rock, because it was just too hot. We also relocated the pool equipment away from the patio. He added a wall to hide it. It all turned out much better than I expected. We have a new spa/pool we can enjoy and it will be much more efficient to use in the summer and winter. Armando was always in communication and did not hesitate to call me if he had questions or comments about the work being done. His team was able to help with the irrigation and landscaping installation as well. I can't say enough good about his honesty and integrity. Armando and his team impressed us with not only the finished product, but with how attentive they were through-out the process. Armando created a group text between his office staff, himself and us so we could stay involved in all communication. He came by our house just about every day and talked us thru every step, from the initial meeting, thru the plans & permits and thru all phases of the work. He even recommended a great landscaper to help us with our ideas. (I think the landscaper is now working for Armando.) I recently requested a quote from this company and they responded quickly by dispatching a team member to compose a quote for monthly pool and spa maintenance. I was shocked and dismayed that the bid I received was almost $300 per month for twice weekly maintenance, well above the norm for this area of Rancho Mirage. My pool and spa are much smaller than my neighbors as I've got a larger back yard. In the decade I've lived here I've yet to pay more than $150 a month for the same 2 visits per week. Filter cleaning has always been an additional $25-$45 charge per quarter. I do realize that chemicals such as chlorine have increased in price but that hardly substantiates such a price gouge for the area. When I stated this to the accountant who submitted the bid they responded that their company services larger pools and that their technicians are CPO (certified pool operators) which I assume means that they can charge more for their services, which is a bunch of baloney. I suggest that if they don't wish to be competitive in the "residential" pool and spa maintenance then they shouldn't be advertising for new accounts in Yelp. read more

Armando, start working her with his team about 13 years ago. His workers are very professional looking and always very polite to our tenants. I know that there are anyother big companies over there trying to beat the price, but in my experience, that always comes with a drop in quality. I like the fact that I can just pick up the phone and call directly Armando or the girls in the office and tell them directly what my issue/concern it is, without waisting time to say every time - who I am, where I am calling from, what is the address for the property etc etc. Also, I want to offer a 5 star to Armando, the owner of the company. I was working for a pool and spa company about 4 weeks ago when I was contacted by a recruiter attempting to poach me. I spoke with them and was intrigued by the increase in pay and all the benefits they offered. I was asked to apply to their posting on indeed which I read multiple times. There it was stated "Monday to Friday" and right next to it "weekends as needed." Before I started I informed them Friday my first week would not be possible since I had a Doctors appointment scheduled. Well I worked my first week and Saturday rolls around and I wake up to text asking why I wasn't at work. Keep in mind they do not post a physical schedule or at least I was not shown one they do not communicate a schedule and I was under the impression that the job was "Monday to Friday." I go in Monday the second week and was told there was not enough work for me and that I can take the day off. Tuesday I am told that I am fired for no call no Show. How the hell was I supposed to assume that Not only was the posting on Indeed Inaccurate but also be clairvoyant enough to Know to come in when weekends are "as Needed" I can't Know when weekends are needed with out being told the weekend was needed. They do not have any way for me to obtain the knowledge of my schedule without having some sort of physic ability to know to contact and ask. and even so that's not my job to ensure that schedules are known. This was a failing on them and when I made all this aware they couldn't care less. This is a horrible way to service a community and treat some one who honestly just wants to work. So if you want to hire a company that is willing to steal a hard working employee from another company and then fire them for their own short comings then that's your choice. but I think people care how a company treats it's employee's. They didn't just cost me a job they cost me two Jobs with their lack of organization and unwillingness to listen to reason and correct the real failing here. read more

We were in need of a significant repair to the gunite and pebble tech which was botched by two companies. Ocean Springs came in and diagnosed the problem, made the repair and you can't tell where the repair was made. We have had no issues with the repair for close to a year. They have been servicing our pool, spa and equipment on a monthly basis and we have had excellent service. The equipment is running well and the pool and spa are maintained meticulously.
