They are nice people....but not only could they not keep the pool salt or PH balanced but they also damaged a lot of property repeatedly. I had them for about 2 years. I switched and after a year with this new company I can say this is not normal. They overcharged for everything. They destroyed plants breaking branches, lawn - pouring pool water on it (still can't grow back) and when the pump broke they said they'd maintain the water while we waited for repair. They not only didn't maintain it but I had to drain it 3 times in 2 months because they could even get the water balanced from scratch. They were also dishonest on occasion about repair and showing up. Nice people but not acceptable service. I caution anyone from working with these guys. It's expensive and the damage is even more expensive. read more

I needed to get a new Pool Heater when my warranty company (AHS) wrongfully denied the claim. Jorge was responsive and provided excellent explanations for the ordinary usage that caused the heat exchange to breakdown, rather than supposed "harsh chemicals" as was represented by AHS's contracted pool service. He recommended a better product than I had previously and also provided me a report from both Leslie's Pools and his own chemical analysis. I am talking AHS to Small Claims Court and am confident that Jorge's reports will help me get the reimbursement I am owed under the warranty. read more

Paradise Pools replaced our previous pool man, as he was unable to efficiently keep the pool clean and looking inviting to swim in. Although , Paradise Pools monthly rate was higher than the previous pool man, the rate included all chemicals and even included some smaller replacement items. So it is important to ask questions if you are quoted a very low monthly rate... the "real" rate is in the details!. The pool had an overall, larger filter installed, & other neglected repairs made. We continued using Paradise Pools service when we bought our home in 2019. They serviced the pool for the previous owner. We paid them to replace ALL of the mechanicals with new Pentair equipment: pump, filter, salt cell, heater, circuit panel, wifi module and all lighting. Plus glass bead blasting to clean the calcium coated tile. This was THOUSANDS of $s of business we gave them. After about 2 years, they became increasingly poor at service. With a continual turn over of technicians. Who all complained about how the company was run. Erratic schedules, no shows and sending multiple technicians with no English comprehension. Thus making it impossible to even communicate the unaddressed problems. We (and our one English speaking tech) reached out to the owner, Jorge, NUMEROUS times, regarding the fact that 1, then 2, of the $700 LED lights they installed had stopped working. They were still under warranty at that time. That was nearly TWO YEARS ago. And they STILL have not even responded, much less repaired / replaced them! But they continue to bill for 2 visits / week, whether they show up or not. Often spending only about 5 minutes on site when they do show up. Our service days are Mon. & Thurs. They skip every Mon. holiday, servicing our pool only once those weeks. Which is fine. But..... they insist on still charging the same 2 visits / week amount for the reduced service. Jorge tried to blame original contractor, however Paradise began maintenance immediately after sign off by City after being filled. Jorge started at one of my long term rentals and as I grew my business he grew his and he's continued helping us with our properties as we've bought them. Because we have solar and TESLA batteries we decided to have Jorge and Paradise pools install a Pentair hybrid electric/gas heater/ filtration system. We now heat our pool with solar/electricity and our hot tub gets its final temperature boost with gas. With this system we are able to maximize the use of our solar electricity production so that there is no give back to Edison at the end of the year.
