The bikes are really good quality. Nice condition, good colors and paint, no rust and functional with no issues. I requested an extra lock because we sometimes we use them separately verses riding together- and you want to keep them secure all the time ! They use Cloud 9 seats- big and comfortable- perfect for those long adventures on the bike trails all over the island. I did interact with customer service they were super friendly and helpful. I would say HHBC is one of the best bike rental companies on the island and we have been coming here 39 years. I would not hesitate to use them again they are excellent- give them a try next time and check to see about any discounts.

Was uncomfortable until we stopped at the Avocado Bike Shop and they fixed it. After 13 miles my battery died and had to ride 3.5 miles back to the shop with a heavy dead bike. They are supposed to go 30-35 miles... I turned it in as my friends continued with their ride for 2 more hours. Owner insisted on a full refund. Again, super nice people! This place was the closest option and was even walkable from our hotel, which made it super convenient. I originally wanted to rent a regular bike without any power assistance, but apparently my only option was an electric bike. I was definitely uncomfortable at first since it was my first time riding one, but after a little while I got the hang of it and honestly would recommend giving it a chance. The pedal assist ended up making the rides a lot more enjoyable, especially in the heat. We ended up riding close to 30 miles over two days and got to see so much more of the island than we would have if we had just driven everywhere. We were told the bikes could even glide across the sandy beach if we wanted to try that, but the sun was just too intense for us to attempt it. We rented the bikes for 24 hours, and the total came out to over $100. The bikes themselves had a range of around 50 miles, which was more than enough for exploring. The owner still personally runs the business, and he was incredibly pleasant and sweet. I always love supporting small businesses, especially ones that make your vacation experience even better.

Now these were not top-of-the-line 10-speed, full suspension, titanium bike frames with wide ratio cassettes, no these are simple single gear cruisers for just utility transportation. So not for those looking to do hardcore biking; but to just get around and enjoy the sights these bikes make the grade. Accolades: --Just $25 for the week per bike. That's right. For those scoring at home, that for less than the cost of two milkshakes you can get a solid cruiser for a week. --Free delivery for two or more bikes. --Well maintained, oiled, and strong these bikes had a better ride than I expected. --Cruisers come in 26", 24", 20", 16" in men and unisex each. This was a great choice because it allows you to sort of keep up with the flow of traffic and you also don't have a pedal so much lol. It was so fun! They give you a bike lock and paper map with suggested places to visit or you can do the guided tour with one of their tour guides. I saw one in passing and it looked pretty fun. The bikes come with a little bag on the front to hold the lock and other small things. You also have the option to add a cell phone holder or basket to the bike, even a picnic add-on (basket, reusable wine glasses, blanket, & coupons). I would definitely use their bikes again!
