Sometime after using the fitness center in my hotel then running the Seabreeze Boulevard bridge to and fro I realized I'd need a massage. I looked on Yelp mobile after returning for my run, and this was the first spa on my list. It was 6 blocks from my hotel - or a 2 minute uber ride. Located in the basement of the Plaza Hotel, I felt like I was going to some venetian oasis. I noticed that besides the massage and skin care areas, they also provide manicure and pedicure. Side note: The elevator down to the spa is by their restaurant, which at least their brunch looked droolworthy for my next trip. I filled out a form upon sign up detailing where I needed more work (lower back & legs), whether I've had massage before, etc. Jae, my massage therapist, checked out a few spots and offered their added option for a different massage lotion for my sunburned back. I wasn't too bad and continued with the regular one. The rest..I drifted off to LaLaLand and woke up refreshed with no muscle soreness and calm enough with the forthcoming flight delays. This spa has a 48 hour cancellation policy, however, I just received a call the day before an appointment I had scheduled requesting I either reschedule or select a different service. The woman on the phone hesitated a bit when I said I'd prefer to just cancel all together... I mean who books a full body massage and switches out to a facial with very little notice? I'm still waiting for my cancellation confirmation email hours later. read more

I am so happy with my decision to get a massage. Front desk referred David Patterson and he did not disappoint. Magic fingers to say the least. I am so relaxed. The perfect way to start off my vacation anniversary. Great personality and accommodating as well. This spa was very accommodating as I made my week day appointment on the day of. Lisa did a great job of showing me around and explaining the different services available. Susan gave me an amazing Swedish massage after a thorough needs assessment. I usually get deep tissue sports massage regularly which means that I am usually left wanting after a "relaxation" massage. This was not the case here, Susan did a great job and used the perfect amount of pressure and heat. Natalia is an amazing esthetician and assessed my skin and it's individual needs. I really enjoyed my day at this spa. I feel relaxed and rejuvinated. I highly recommend! read more

Terrible customer service The massage lady was sweet but one day I was a bit late for my nail appt I called and they charged me a full $70 for the appt even though I never got the service and I asked if I could book more services to make up for it and have some of the fee go towards that but nope. Would never recommend totally not understanding they will take your money for doing not a thing for you. Way better service else where and better prices what a nice thing to wake up to on my vaca morning a $70 charge for my nails to not be done. My husband and I were visiting Daytona Beach for business and decided to stay an extra day for relaxation/spa. Many places were booked, but when I called Ocean Waters Spa, they were able to get us both appointments for my facial and his massage. Inna is the aesthetician that did my facial and it had to be one of the best I have had in years, maybe ever! She loves what she does and it shows in the special care she gave me while I relaxed during the facial. Her room was clean and comfortable, and the spa offers premium skin care for their facials. I am impressed with Inna and will call in advance to schedule another facial with her when I am back in Daytona Beach in May. Overall, the spa is very clean and offers high-quality​ spa products and merchandise. Also, before going to the spa, we decided​ to get lunch at the poolside restaurant. The food took a little longer than we expected, but it was WORTH IT! The food was really fresh and delicious! We weren't expecting that! Me and my boyfriend really enjoyed our couples massage! So relaxing, I had never gotten a massage before and it was a great first time experience! The masseuses were very friendly and spoke in a quiet and relaxing tone. They work with you and talk about specific needs and what areas of your body need the most work done. The heated tables were a nice addition too. You are also able to use their saltwater pool which is really nice afterwards! Highly recommend if you are visiting the area. read more

$78 for a pedicure with a mint "mask". The lady talked the whole time, so it wasn't relaxing. Then she gave no pressure behind her massage. I felt she was poking the bottom of my feet rather than rubbing, and the same for my legs. Nothing memorable. The facility is nice, but too over priced for the quality. I won't be returning; waste of money. They also failed to inform me of the 20% gratuity that's AUTOMATICALLY charged...thanks for that. I also just noticed two toes have a different color left on them. This place needs to not over work their employees, because the lady just wanted to get out of there! read more
