This was one of the best massage experiences I have ever had. My massage therapist was a miracle worker. I walked out feeling about 2 inches taller. I do not like hard pressure and she was so respectful of that - checking in periodically to make sure the pressure was okay without disrupting the relaxing mood. She incorporated hot towels into the treatment which elevated the entire experience and increased the stress relief. I wished I lived here because I would be going in every week to get a massage. Temperature in massage room extremely cold and noise from air purification machines (I'm not exactly sure what they are called but it was for air purification in conjunction with Himalayan salt) was loud and distracting. Very hard to relax! Not an ideal setting for a relaxing massage, but if Himalayan Salt rooms are of importance to you, this might be your place! Not exceptional massage-very light and asked for deep tissue. Went for a couples massage and my partner seemed to have an entirely different type of massage using exfoliation and hot stones so he enjoyed it more. My boyfriend and I had never had a massage before, let alone a couples massage. We both have back and neck issues so we had been looking forward to this for weeks leading up to our vacation. It was a fantastic experience. Not only did the massage therapists know exactly what they were doing but they also tried their best to help with our back issues. They were very knowledgable and kind. Normally I usually refrain from posting negative reviews, however this has to due with public safety therefore is necessary. I booked an appt for 90 minute massage. I was asked to complete an in-take form which is standard. I had a mask on and was told by the male therapist that I could remove it. I explained that I had an elderly father and that it was necessary for his and mine protection. I ask the therapist would he be wearing a mask as well. He told me that he doesn't like to wear a mask. He had a very negative & rather abrasive attitude about it. Most services would gladly honor this request. I then told him I would not be comfortable in that situation. At that point he told me if he HAD to he would. He was so rude & dismissive, I ended up leaving and rather shocked and disappointed with how he handled the situation. While everybody is entitle to their own choices in your private life, if you are working in the public & are of service to others, I believe an attitude of understanding & cooperation is part of your professionalism. read more

I did the couples massage. We did deep tissue which is what I am used to and always do. A week later I am covered with bruises on both hips and have been unable to walk or move without extreme pain. My partner by contrast received a very light massage which did not address the issues he was having to focus on his back. We booked in a regular couples room not the salt room although the walls were covered in salt. We had a male and female massage therapist and were given the choice of who we wanted. Found this place on Groupon and contacted them to book directly. We went for a 60 minute couples massage and 30 minute sauna. The massages were great - we had Marc and Joanelly. The sauna is not the normal sauna and didn't actually feel hot to us even though it said it was on 199 degrees. We would definitely go back for a massage but we would probably skip the sauna next time. Parking is difficult as there aren't many parking spots nearby the spa. read more

She then proceeded to say that she would match the price of the Groupon and that we needed to pay her right there out of our pockets instead of her accepting the completely valid voucher number on our Groupon. We tried to calmly reason with her, explaining that she was misleading her customers; and the truth came out that she didn't want to wait for Groupon to pay her. She wanted her money now. Jacqui is awesome with customer service. My boyfriend and I got a couples massage and it was very good.. HOWEVER, I was slightly disappointed because our appointment was for 3:00 and we showed up at 2:45 to fill out paperwork. Our one masseuse didn't show up until 3 on the dot, our massage didn't start until a little after three, and then when they said the massage was over we looked at the clock after and it wasn't even four yet... we paid for a 60 minute massage so I expect just that. Another thing that was slightly annoying but I wouldn't have said anything if the other issue didn't occur.. but when I called the spa I told them I found them on Groupon and I just wanted to make sure they had openings while we were on vacation and she told me that she would just take my payment and give me the price from Groupon and she didn't. Not a big deal I think it was a $15 difference.. but I didn't even get the full 60 minutes. That just rubbed me the wrong way but it was a very good massage and I will definitely give them another chance on our next vacation. read more
