Dr. Chelf is absolutely amazing! I first went to her in 2016 after she was highly recommended by a dear friend of mine, who has raved about Dr. Chelf for as long as I have known her. When I first came to her my daughter had just had a frenotomy which led to a nursing strike that led to my milk supply tanking. She was able to get my daughter nursing again, unfortunately my supply never recovered. We continued to see her because my daughter was so much happier after being seen. I started seeing her when I was pregnant with my next child and developing pubis symphysis dysfunction. What relief she brought me, not only physical but mentally and emotionally too. I would have given up breastfeeding were it not for Dr. Chelf. I had an extremely difficult time breastfeeding. Even after my son's tongue tie was released, he would cry out in pain during breastfeeding and would refuse to latch. Our lactation consultant recommended we see Dr. Chelf. dr bridgette is incredible. i don't have words for how grateful i am that we found her. she was instrumental in getting my baby to learn to eat again after a tongue tie release. her presence was soothing and comforting to me, as a new mom. i really needed her calm energy as i was panicking about my baby's feedings. she made herself available to us anytime we needed help and continues to be a resource and source of comfort. we live in mission hills and regularly made the trek to solana beach to see her, even though we were referred to other practitioners who were closer to our home. she contacted the lactation consultant and occupational therapist we were also working with so they could all collaborate to provide us synergistic care. this was so helpful to us! it's hard to remember to relay information, especially as a sleep deprived new parent. when we had a less than amazing experience at the tongue tie place and thought we might have to go in for a revision, she offered to accompany us. this, to me, spoke volumes about how she wanted to help. she has a heart of gold and truly loves babies. in the few months that we saw her, i came to love and respect her. you can't be in better hands. read more

We have taken both of our sons to dr chelf. Both babies started with cranial stress and severe tongue ties and within two week were thriving and had perfectly round heads, widened pallets, and a great digestive track.
