My 7 month old had her first ear infection for the last 2 weeks and I decided to try chiropractic care before going to the doctor. Her ears haven't bothered her once since her adjustment. Dr Beth is amazing!

Enjoying some kombucha while we wait. He is one happy boy.

My 2 year old son was recently diagnosed with PFAPA which is a type of periodic fever. He was getting regular fevers every 2-3 weeks reaching temps of 105 for 4 or 5 days each episode. This has been going on since he was only 9 months old. As you can imagine this really put stress on him, his development, and our family. Because traditional medicine didnt have answers we started seeking alternative ways to heal him and found Dr. Binder. I can proudly say that so far he has gone 56 days and still counting with absolutly no fever. This has been huge and life changing for our family. Our son is finally able to play, put on weight, and not miss out on events and school. I am beyond happy with Dr. Binders care. She is caring, knowledgable, professional, and kind. She is healing my son and for that I owe her everything.

Dr. Beth has taken care of me and my family for the past 5mo. She has really helped me recover from pregnancy misalignment and my spouse from driving. She is awesome.

Ask the Community - Born & Raised Wellness

How much is each session out of pocket after the initial consultation?

Around 60!

Is the muscle work after the adjustments part of the regular treatments or are they an additional service you have to pay for separately?

We have massage and acupuncture in house. Most of our muscle work is performed after the adjustment but there have been some cases in which people prefer their muscle work prior to their adjustment. Hope this helps!

And I walked out of the class with so much knowledge and confidence, and my husband and I were able to achieve the fully natural birth we had hoped for! She was the perfect teacher and I would recommend this to ANYONE AND EVERYONE!

I walked, I saw a chiropractor twice a week, I did acupuncture, I did spinning babies daily, and everything else Liza recommended. I ended up getting induced and being in labor for 3 days which led to a c section. Trust me I did everything to avoid a c section. When Liza called to ask how it went and I told her, she scolded me for not doing more. That was so upsetting after such a traumatic experience. Also in 8 weeks of 4 hour classes, we never once touched on inductions and all the choices that come with that. I felt completely lost without the help of my doula (who only would come once you are dilated 8 cms), and without the guidance of the birth class. I spent so much time preparing for natural childbirth, that the medical induction and emergency c section that resulted left me feeling lost and unprepared. I wish someone had offered me some guidance for that scenario, and not guilt as though it was my fault for having it happen that way. I recommend her class if you know you will have a natural childbirth (which no one knows- the only thing predictable about birth is how unpredictable it is.)

I went to Cap Wellness Center for a prenatal massage and felt like I was bamboozled. I knew from…read moretheir site that they lean toward holistic, functional pre and post natal care - fine. But what was unclear is the overt Christian, right-wing agenda I'd be finding when I showed up at the office. My masseuse was wearing a shirt with God written huge across the front, the instrumental music during my massage was all Christian songs (I know, I used to go to church), there was horrifying anti-vax pamphlets at the counter that touted all of the right-wing talking points, not medical research. It felt like a place preying on new moms and people in vulnerable positions trying to just figure out how to do what's best for their babies. It's a disappointment since there's nothing about religion on their site. They should be transparent about who they are and what their agenda is. I will not be going back.

My favorite chiropractor of over 12 years, Dr Jay works out of the wellness center and he is the best. For adults, kids, infants and pregnancy. I am very picky about chiropractors and personally don't love being 'cracked' all the time, so with Dr Jays technique my body is able to unwind from the inside out, allowing for longer lasting adjustments. Besides amazing chiro, they have massage, acupuncture, birth classes and so much more!

Juliana was a major help during a very vulnerable time. I booked multiple at-home lactation…read moreconsultations when I was freshly postpartum, and she provided personalized and thorough after-visit reports to support my breastfeeding journey. I was dealing with blood blisters, a poor latch, doubts and fears about supply, and a baby that was temporarily not gaining enough weight. As a first-time mom, it was extremely stressful, and there were many tears. However, Juliana's visits always left me feeling more informed, reassured, and capable. We also did a weighted feed during every visit, which confirmed that my baby was indeed getting enough to eat. I still remember the relief I felt when I learned that. Juliana is a big reason why I decided to stay the course with breastfeeding. (Thank goodness, because now I LOVE it.) My insurance covered the cost of the visits, so I just paid the $60 travel fee. I also attended her breastfeeding class with my husband before giving birth. This was super helpful, but I recommend taking the class within 1 month of your due date. We took it a bit too early in my pregnancy, and forgot a couple things by the time I gave birth. Overall, I would highly recommend booking a lactation consultation with Juliana if you're in need of support!

From the moment we walked in, we were greeted with such warmth and kindness. The staff was incredibly knowledgeable and genuinely helpful, not pushy at all. They patiently answered all of our (many!) questions and helped us compare different stroller options based on our lifestyle and needs. We left feeling confident in our decision, which is such a huge relief as first-time parents! The store itself is absolutely adorable--full of the cutest baby items you can imagine, from thoughtful gifts and baby clothes to nursery must-haves. You can tell everything is curated with care. It has that perfect boutique vibe without being overwhelming or overpriced. Babies in Bloom is a true gem for anyone preparing to welcome a little one. We left not only knowing what stroller we want, but with a big smile on our faces. Highly, highly recommend!

I didn't feel like he was ever rushing out appointments which was nice. I also liked that he wasn't too over the top with lots and lots of ultra sounds if it wasn't necessary. Midwife Chris ended up delivering my baby. It was an amazing experience, she really was incredible, and I hope I can have her deliver my next baby as well. I was referred to Dr…read more Capetenakis by a functional medicine doctor, and was hoping that by establishing care with a "boutique medical practice", I would get the care that I so desperately needed. Long story short, I ended up having an excision surgery for Stage IV Endometriosis, and it was so bad that I also ended up needing a bowel resection. For being told multiple times during my visits that my pain was due to ovulation, my fibroids weren't an issue (he had women with 12cm fibroids get pregnant), and that the developing cysts on my ovaries were nothing to be concerned about, it was a genuine shock that my situation was so dire. My doctor that did the excision surgery shared that I had a life expectancy of 5-6 years if I had not been treated. With regard to the office experience, it is a shock that his office does not send out appointment reminders. According to his staff, they are too small. Given that my dog groomer, acupuncturist, and my therapist all manage their own schedules and send automated appointment reminders without issue, that is definitely an area of improvement. Especially when I was charged a $50 no show fee for an appointment that I never scheduled. All in all - they tried. However, when a patient is far too complex they should be referred out to another provider, not told that everything is fine and to move on. If it were his family, I doubt he would have taken the same approach as he did with me.
