I received many quotes from other companies but decided to hire Espitia's Tree Service since they are licensed Arborists and sent me their Certificate of insurance. Legit! They also had a reasonable price so it was a great deal! He told me that they have many years of experience in California as Utility Line Arborist - Line Clearance Tree Trimmers. Their business in Hawaii is over 6 years now. They did Excellent work and had their road signs set up during the job. After an extensive…read morewalk-through of the jungle that used to be a large back yard, Marcus made suggestions to us and our landscaper on how Tree Concepts could tackle the large overgrown invasive trees (macaranga, albizia & more), prune back the trees we wanted to save, and eradicate all of the vines and tall weeds that thrive in Manoa. The estimate was emailed to me promptly and covered the area in a comprehensive manner. After accepting the bid Marcus came back with his working foreman to get a clear understanding of what needed to be done and the staging process. The job started a month later and in 2 weeks all of the work was done very well and the crew even did additional work that we had not anticipated in the walk-through. Marcus worked side-by-side with his crew and work did not start prior earlier than State laws permitted. Marcus and his crew were hardworking, friendly and easy to work with. Gave me the estimate and waited a couple days for others to respond. Another did but didn't repond to a second attempt. So whatever. Gave Jeff the green light to do the job. Him and his boys came and did a great job from making sure it was installed correctly. After install I walked and checked their work. Wanted to improve drainage in the backyard to prevent heavy rain ponding along back patio. The…read moreplan was to replace our existing drainage with a french drain system. Work was done in less than 2 weeks. It was muddy/dirty as they dug the trench for the drain while trying to avoid the existing sprinkler system in the yard. They connected existing backyard drains and some gutter downspouts where that made sense to the new drainage system. To complete the job, they repaired a few sprinkler heads and connections that were damaged and power washed sidewalks and driveway. They also saved the grass that was removed digging the trench and replaced them over the completed drain system.
