I felt judged, misunderstood, and like I was in a way, forced to be there by my own parents when I needed medical treatment so desperately. I felt this place just took the money and agreed to helping me, only to be somewhat shady and odd once I got there. It was sad time for me. I felt mistreated. That is not how you treat anyone (especially a sick person). I felt some of the staff was mean, especially Kat, and just watched me 24/7. I felt uncomfortable most of the time. Upon my last week or so there, I got yelled at and mistreated by another client in one of the houses I lived at. She was mocking me and I told the operations manager about it. He came by the house and got everyone's story in the house besides mine. The next day, I was called in the office and admitted I engaged in reactive abuse, which is when we react to unfairness in ways we don't mean because I made a rude comment back to the girl. My therapist Brynn labeled this as "worse" even though the other client was low key violent prone, and I have proof of that, because she is aggressive and was making fists when talking to another girl in the group. They used my reaction (which if they were actually versed in psychology they would know WHY i reacted this way), to kick me out of the house (as if I started the beef with the other client, which I didn't). Without enough of a notice, I ended up being forced to go to a sober living (mind you, I do not even have an addiction problem), and ended up on the street. They did not care to check in with me, and I was at this program for 5 MONTHS. They should have been on my side, knowing that I was in an abusive relationship with my parents and were holding finances over my head (which is financial abuse). The night I was left on the street, I really thought I may die that night. Thank God I have the faith of a mustard seed, because I prayed harder than ever after 2 days of homelessness. I ended up finding a REAL therapist to talk to who moved me into her home that night (thank you Jesus).While I was living there, the owner of Casa called me and I shared my grievences with her. When I shared them, she strangely made rude comments about how shes sure I "have not and will not" find a better treatment center to live at, but I was living at one. One in which the women were supportive, the home owner was fair, we each had our chores to do and kept the house very clean. There wasn't drama that any of the girls could get away with. When you're vulnerable, at times, you need somoene to stick up for you. Especially at a rehabilitation center. I do not recommend this phony, "counseling" center that takes your money and doesn't know how to help sick people who are vulnerable!!!! By the grace of God, I ended up going to a better treatment center after this who ACTUALLY helped me get better. I'm very glad i'm alive, and no I do not recommend this place at all.

I needed a miracle to change my life and the direction it was heading in and God put this facility with its staff there to do just that! Intake: Ken is the one that worked with my family to really get the ball rolling and my beautiful journey started. He was nothing but kind and caring when I showed up for admission oh so broken. He made my intake experience that should have been miserable actually bearable and even a little fun which really brought a glimmer of hope to the beginning of the path. Drivers: Shoutout to the entire driver team. Riley is the one who picked me up and drove me in to in patient and gave me some really powerful words of encouragement. Joel always had me and the rest of the guys laughing and really lightened up my experience there while providing some really good wisdom as well. Darren and Sniper Jim were great drivers who conducted themselves very professional and executed any all tasks flawlessly while also bringing some laughs along the way. House Management: Man these guys were all so wonderful and such blessings to have for the day to day stuff. I want to shoutout Aaron, Andrew, Justin and Colby. Every single one of these dudes were there for me at various parts along the way and each one of them went above and beyond to help me out. These are exactly the dudes you want handling the houses when you're going through treatment! Case Managers: The entire case management team was unreal. Mike, Jeremiah and of course my case manager Matt. Mike was such a sweet and caring dude but very deep. His groups really brought some great introspective thinking. Very bright dude who is great to pull aside and run things by. Jeremiah was the man since day 0!! This dude actually took the time to give me a tour of the facility two months before I ultimately came in. He was super kind and genuine but could really bring the heat when we needed it. This is a man passionate about what he does and is in it to genuinely help turn guys lives around. Which he had a big part in doing just that for me! Matt... You're one heck of a case manager man. There were some pivotal points of my recovery where I wanted to just be done and leave but you managed to steer me in the right direction and really stand in my corner. You were nothing but phenomenal from the beginning. You were constantly proactive. Anytime I needed something you were likely already on it and if not you addressed it and got it handled immediately. From start to finish you set me up for success and I can't thank you enough for that! Pastoral Staff: Tom, Eric and Bob I love you guys and am so grateful for the ways in which you have all guided me spiritually. Each one of you are such brilliant, inspirational and strong men. God is surely looking down upon you three and so proud of the work you do in changing so many men's lives for good. Pastor Tom - There simply aren't words to describe the impact that this man has had on my life. He was there for me constantly through the highs and lows. This man would take his time to get to know each and every man personally and really support them to the max. You can see the Holy Spirit in this man and it shows in all that he does. Mr. Ed, Aaron, Andrew, Joel, Jeremiah & Pastor Tom are only a few of the staff there that are really special people who literally save lives every day. The inclusion of God and Christianity is another life saving part of this program. The men take it upon themselves to include Bible studies and pray together and for each other. The men that were in program with my qualifier are still in touch with each other and truly mean a lot to our family. The other families and ours have become part of a larger family because as Mr. Ed says, "we heal in community." The importance of including families in treatment is the one thing that other programs are missing. Treating the disease of addiction/alcoholism should include families because we too are affected by the disease. And Mr. Ed has weekly family group meetings for families with qualifiers currently in patient and alumni families. These meetings are so important because he teaches and gives families opportunities to keep connecting and learning. We, as family members are also able to share our experiences, our strengths and our hope. Through this program we have learned so much and have made it a part of our daily lives. I wrote this to Mr. Ed and I'll share a lil bit here: Doing the 3Gs and Daily Readings every morning brings so much clarity, calm & routine to our lives. Wings of Hope truly pushed me to grow in ways I didn't think were possible when I first entered…read morerecovery. A lot of sober livings these days have ties to outpatient treatment centers that provide financial kickbacks, but Wings of Hope does not operate that way. The owner genuinely cares about the women recovering there and is very involved in the process. This environment was highly structured, which is something I personally needed. It forced me to build structure into what had previously been a very chaotic unstructured life. I was expected to participate in weekly chores, attend house meetings, work with a sponsor, and obtain a job and/or enroll in school. At the time it felt like a lot, but it helped me rebuild basic life habits and accountability that addiction had taken away. At times, especially early in sobriety, that level of involvement and structure can feel overwhelming and intrusive. But looking back, it was exactly what I needed. It provided guidance, forced me to be accountable and to get uncomfortable in order to create real change. I had to face difficult conversations that ultimately strengthened my ability to be honest and to set boundaries-- two things that felt completely foreign after living a life fueled by addiction. While living there I learned how to take care of my space through simple cleaning tasks that were new to me, how to budget my money, and how to stay sober while balancing a social life, AA, and work. These everyday skills became the foundation for a stable life in recovery. Is there going to be drama? Ofcourse! What do you expect when you're living in a house full of women who are learning to live life sober while experiencing heightened emotions after years of also and drug use, survival behaviors, and unhealthy coping skills?! Recovery can be messy sometimes, but that's also where growth happens. Setting boundaries, having uncomfortable conversations, and learning how to act and respond in healthier ways is what recovery is really about. Learning how to show others grace while also standing up for yourself in a kind and respectful way is a life skill that continues to serve you long after you leave sober living. Now, years later, I am still sober, I went back to school and obtained my bachelor's degree, am now in graduate school, and I'm living a life that I love, respect, and wouldn't trade. Many of the early sobriety skills I rely on today-- learning to get uncomfortable, walking through fear, being honest, learning how to balance responsibilities, and navigating relationships in healthier ways-- were developed in the safe and supportive environment that Wings of Hope provided. This was what I was told would be a "sober living" after leaving my residential program. All in all…read morethis is my first time in treatment. When I left residential I was told this program offers dual diagnosis. I struggle with mental health, addiction, and eating disorders. I was unfortunately lied to about how great this program is the first nutritionist class was a woman named Lola, who is not a nutritionist or a dietitian. She is just a health coach. She basically would tell everyone what they were doing wrong when it came to eating, causing everybody to backtrack on their confidence along with creating or prolonging others eating disorders because of the misinformation she was giving. Along with that this place constantly claims that you will be kicked out or put on blackout or earned some type of consequences when you relapse that is not the case I myself smoked marijuana here for over six months and was told an approximate 3 to 4 times that I was on my final warning, but again I smoked for six months. I did not have my phone taken away. I had no repercussions nothing and honestly, it was a joke to some some being, Staff. I've read reviews about body brokering here and yes, it is 100% true the moment someone calls our insurance and tells on this place that's when they'll be shut down but don't worry I'm sure that will happen here soon. The pictures they have on here is nothing what it looks like there's two buildings one is 12South and one is seek. They are both owned by the same people but again money is the main concern here along with that the housing is also owned by a third company called living solutions that is owned by the same place because again money is the only main concern. I will say though if you need free rent this is the place, they don't require you to have a job for rent, they don't require anything for rent they will just have you write out a note saying it's a hardship and that is how the clients (all) live rent free here. Staff choose his favorites here hundred percent , and any HIPAA violations will go right out the window. All clients know all the other client's business not only because other clients talking, but mainly because of staff running their mouth to clients that they favor. One of the owners, Jeff, he hides in his office most of the time and has all of his little minions do his dirty work. A bunch of con artist run this place and you know exactly what kind of help you will get the moment you see this place and talk with the staff. Medications that are prescribed yes some are legit and then some are put together by Staff and a label is thrown on the bottle with a label maker the medications they are using to give other clients are discontinued, meds, or meds that were refused by other clients in the house houses and then Staff gather them in a giant bag from when the audit comes and they run around with their heads cut off. The EMDR therapist as well as Matt the therapist on the 12South side and the facilitator Miss Keisha along with maybe 2 techs actually really do genuinely care about you and want to see you get the help you need, but again there's only so much these people can do and you know they themselves see the wrong that is happening at this place. Luckily, I am aware enough and coherent enough to see the injustice and the disgusting inhumane treatment happening at this establishment. If you want your family member a loved one or yourself to get genuine help, to live a life you've always deserved and to learn to love yourself again I highly recommend NOT going here. Also this place has a history of staff creating sexual relationships with clients: a case manager had left due to having relations with his client and recently another case manager was fired for having sexual relationships with clients. They do not provide life skills or any thing to help you in the real world. They also just opened up a higher level of care mental health housing called legends cause again the theme with this place is their concern is money what they do is they take clients that I know factually have been there more than two years they go through the cycle of relapse, sending them to higher level of care for their mental health, keeping them on lithium gabapentin to create zombies and make them sleep to not progress and they take these people they don't teach them anything and they leave them in the system constantly using them for their insurance money and again these people are highly unaware because they need a higher level of care Not a place ran by previous con artist that are still doing con artist tendencies. Run far far away from this place and thank me later.

There is no overnight staff, meaning if you need meds in the middle of the night you are screwed. The last overnight staff they had went into psychosis and left mid shift. There is a chore list but there are no repercussions if you don't do them. There are women there that are not fit for communal living and would do much better in a psych ward. My food was constantly being stolen, it became so often they refused to compensate. It's basically a glorified trap house without the drugs. Couch stained and floors filthy. Broken chairs and a barely working kitchen sink. For several weeks the fridge was broken so I bought my own mini fridge. One of clients brought cocaine in to the house and they let her back into the sober living two times. You are told if you do drugs you are kicked out immediately which simply isn't the case. A client relapsed and went back to php for a week, the only consequences she faced. This in itself almost made me relapse. The whole time I was there (June - October) about 3 - 5 staff members left for either relapsing, not doing their job or hating their job. I do not know much about insurance, but I am pretty sure what they are doing is illegal as it was discussed among clients all the time. Something about "body brokering." In the pictures what you see is only one building of 12 south. I was placed in the second. Piss yellow walls with stained brown carpets. The counselors with the exception of three ( shoutout to Mrs. K, Bryant and Christian) are unprofessional or clearly just there for a paycheck. There is fraternizing between the staff and the clients. One of the clients were sexually harassing several women and they kept him in the program. The content of the groups are poor and I genuinely think after being there my mental health worsened. The only thing good that came out of coming here is that it was so awful I would never come back to another rehab again.

Their…read moreemployee who picked me up from the airport was (allegedly) hitting a dab pen and took me to what I was told over the phone would be a "thorough intake process" was really a breathalyzer and UA. The person doing my "intake" asked me which program I was here for - I told him nobody told me and shouldn't he know?? The admissions person I spoke with over the phone said I would have "chef made meals". I was dropped off at a Vons with a $75 gift card to buy groceries for the week. As someone with a dual diagnosis, this was incredibly misleading and resulted in me not eating for 24 hours. The same admissions person said "the home i would be in would have shared rooms, but plenty of bathrooms". I arrived to the house which had 1 bathroom shared among 7 women. Sadly my time here only lasted 18 hours due to the fact that what was described to me over the phone was the exact opposite of what i walked into. Don't waste your time here. "House manager" or any WWR employee was not at the home I was assigned to when I arrived. It was 4 hours later that she showed up and was using her vape as a pointer while showing me the house rules. Not a single person here was professional or helpful - they just want your money. Bedspread on my bed was also COVERED in stains upon my arrival.
