Made some calls to a few other places and finally ended up at Le Nails, where there were several technicians and clients. I was a Monday walk-in and did not have to wait long. Having come from Winston Salem where nearly every salon is being renovated with chandeliers, wine bars, mirrors everywhere, it is obvious that Le Nails is not in that league. But it is clean and comfortable. Based on my observation, they have clients who come frequently. My toes are now ready for flipflop season and I have no complaints. They offer a discount for cash (better than upcharging) and accept Apple Pay but not Venmo. Can definitely recommend and will go back again.

Then they came back and adjusted. A basic pedi is $35 and a Deluxe starts at $40. Like everything, it's gotten so expensive to get a simple pedi. I will be treating this as a special occasion. The pedicure began at 2:40 finally. 3:20 finished. It ended up being an enjoyable pedi. The clay mask was relaxing and the extra massaging was welcomed and enjoyed. But...I think they need to figure out how to manage appointments better. I also am not sure I would return unless it was early in the morning and I knew my appointment time would be honored.

I went into the salon a few days earlier asked the stylist if she could do my hair color I showed her a picture of what I wanted a color I previously had. She said that she could do it. I asked her if she was absolutely sure she said yes I made an appointment I came back. I went to salon got there at 1 o'clock. She did not take me until 130. I showed her a photo again of me with the hair color I wanted and asked again if she could do it. she said yes. I sat in the chair for over five hours when she started to dry my hair, I told her that it was not what I asked for, she asked Another stylist to help she started adding all kinds of bright red shades. I asked for a little trim and not to take a lot I showed her how much. she took over 2" off my hair. I was so devastated what my hair looked like I was speechless. I walked out of the salon looking like Ronald McDonald. I went back to the salon because I was embarrassed how bad my hair looked like I spoke to the owners daughter she was very nice and said would I let them do something and would refund my money, but she needed to talk to the stylist. I then got a phone call from the owner, who was absolutely nasty and said that my color was beautiful I said it was not what I asked for and that everybody else that saw the color laughed at me. my friend who recommended the salon said sorry for recommending them. the owner got very nasty to me and said that she would not refund my money. the owner also said she hade me on video saying that I liked it. I told her I did not say that I was distraught about what the women did to my hair with the color and how much the stylist cut my hair. I was very adamant about the color and I didn't want a lot cut off. The owner refused to listen to any of my concerns and was very nasty and when I asked to see the videotape that she said she had she refused to show it to me. She is recording conversations that you have with your stylist without your knowledg. I have never had a salon owner treat me the way that this owner did. I do not recommend you going to this salon if you care about your hair and want your hair to be done the way you want not the way they think it should be done. Owner continued to talk about a video she had and when I said she was saying things that were not true and to show me the video she refused. I cannot express what a horrible experience this was.
