I had appointment for manicure/pedicure. I arrived on time at 9:30. They opened late...no apologies. A family of 6 walked in no appointment. They accommodated them. Fine but noticed us that are regulars just sat there and waited who had appointments. It took over 3 hours and got rushed sloppy job. Credit card machine broke had to go get cash to pay. The manicure was fine in the end, and the skills were "ok" (she made a couple cuticles bleed), but I didn't like that they were speaking in a different language in front of me and I could tell it was about my nails. Yes I had moved and used the nails stickers, so it was bad, but still that was rude. She kept holding my hand up to show her coworker and who knows that they were saying to each other. I recently moved to Ocean Isle Beach and was in desperate need of a pedi. I walked out of one "upscale" salon due to the limited color selections. Made some calls to a few other places and finally ended up at Le Nails, where there were several technicians and clients. I was a Monday walk-in and did not have to wait long. Having come from Winston Salem where nearly every salon is being renovated with chandeliers, wine bars, mirrors everywhere, it is obvious that Le Nails is not in that league. But it is clean and comfortable. Based on my observation, they have clients who come frequently. My toes are now ready for flipflop season and I have no complaints. They offer a discount for cash (better than upcharging) and accept Apple Pay but not Venmo. Can definitely recommend and will go back again. read more

I believe her name was Amy who did my nails--I felt horrible asking for such an annoying design but since it was my birthday I went for it and she helped me pick them, when a color didn't match my photo she redid it without me even asking, she noticed and perfected it! We called ahead knowing we might have to wait and they worked us in quickly. Remember that even with appointments you might have to wait at nail salons due to the uncertain nature of how long they might take so please be kind!! As a part-timer, I found this salon a few years back. Henry and his wife were great. Recently, David and Amy took over the business and I couldn't be happier. The place is clean and bright. They offer a great selection of services and decent prices. The selection of polishes is vast and all types, regular, powder, gel and UV gel. Very disappointed that when I get my nails done here, one or two will inevitably come off. I don't have this issue with other salons. I use this one because it is convenient. I had never even seen this place although I've driven by this shopping center many times. I found it on Yelp as I need my toes done but haven't been happy with either Happy Nails or Ocean Isle Nails that are also close by. I called and got an appt, which is recommended. Amy actually called me back to ask if I could come earlier since prior appt didn't show so I was happy to go earlier. It is a simple nail salon nothing fancy but Amy & her husband were very kind and she gave me a wonderful hour long pedicure. I will definitely be going back as she was good about asking if I wanted anything else done or if she was using too much or not enough pressure and if it hurt for her to get cuticles which I greatly appreciated. As long as you call ahead to make an appt, even on same day then you don't have to wait. Highly recommend! read more

I called ahead to check availability, lady on the phone said I could go in immediately. I get there and am instantly sat. The smaller lady stars doing my nails very roughly, throwing my hands around, not at all cautious about how she did anything. The lady was incredibly unprofessional taking multiple breaks to make personal phone calls and check messages while doing my nails. The nails themself are very underwhelming. I asked for a simple rounded short nail. They are various different lengths, shapes and the paint doesn't cover the sides of my nail. No two nails look alike. Also worth the mention when I asked for the shape to be fixed she ignored my request, left, and started doing another clients nails. Inevitably after starting the process on another woman's nails, she then does the same thing to that woman.. I received a pedicure from a different woman, her herself was a different experience. She was very professional and pleasant. However after finishing I did notice she had missed many spots on my nails. The nail polish is incredibly patchy and uneven. This was not a great experience. We booked an appointment for 2pm today (Thursday) on Wednesday for two gel manicures. I said we could also come in at 3 and they said no 2 would be better. Once we got there at 1:50, we had to wait until after 2:10 until one of us were seated. At 2:30 the other was seated and my manicure was finished. It looked like a 20 minute manicure too. None of my hang nails were taken care of, and the sides of my nails were not painted. It looks very cheap. My mother was serviced by the same person and seemed in a rush with the two of us but one person next to us was in the chair the entire time that my Mom and I were combined so I'm not sure if it was who serviced us or what.... it was not a great experience and I would not go back as it was a bad manicure and the service was not good. The vibes were pretty dirty. There was chunks of nails on the floor and barely any sanitary precautions being taken as some of the same tools were used for me and my mother and the table was not cleaned in between people. Not to mention, when 3pm rolled around, there was one person in here finishing a pedicure (she was in the chair when we got here at 1:50) and one waiting for a design who had been getting her manicure since 2:00pm. Very disappointing. Don't know why they didn't ask us to come in at 3 when that was when I initially asked for the appointment and they asked for us to come in at 2. read more

The owners are sweet and did a good job on my pedicure. They took their time and made sure I was comfortable. I got a french tip regular pedicure. They were covid safe, they had masks on and clear covers up for distance! They do gel & sns. They said they had enough people to do three peoples pedicures, but they had only two workers. they also did not do the third persons pedicure. they caught an attitude with my mom and charged way too much for a standard pedicure. at a normal salon it is between 20-35 for a standard pedicure but they charged 55$ with an added 10% tip even though that had horrible service. the pedicure was less than standard quality and was not worth the price. my pedicure turned out well but the service, price, and curtesy of the workers was not ok. i cannot stand rude customer service. i do not recommend this salon for anyone. read more

Man argued with me for 15 minutes over the color I picked, insisting I didn't really want that color and tried to give me something that was covered in multicolor glitter for my wedding. My sister did not get the nail art she asked for despite reminding them several times and later told "it was too late to do it". Wow this was one of the worst experiences I have ever had at a nail salon. We went with a Group that called over a week in advance. We had I think 14 ppl that we staggered times. Arrived at 9:30 expecting to get a mani and pedi. Didn't state the pedi until noon!! On top of it the girl painting my nails clearly didn't work there as she literally painted more skin than nail and said "sorry I'm not precise." It was a shit show. Then only did one coat so you could see my nail through it. Hence at 1:30 I decided not to do my mani because I couldn't sit any longer or even pay for additional services.
