Walk along the harbor, look at the boats, and spot birds and sea lions. You'll see them lounging on the dock or boats and hear them barking every night. Be sure to walk down to the bridge and cross over. There are nice, grass areas with benches, picnic tables, etc. It's a beautiful view. Enjoy the beauty! There is a ton of free parking, clean public bathrooms, and the beautiful coastline. Then add in the dining, shopping, whale watching tours, paddle boarding, canoeing, sailing, and wading at Baby Beach.... This is a wonderful place to visit.

From start to finish, the process was smooth, professional, and stress-free. The boat was exactly as expected! Super clean and well-maintained. The staff was friendly and made sure everything was seamless so we could just relax and enjoy the day. They even helped me with instructions on where to park (which was just a few steps from the rental). When o got out the car, they helped me carry all the decor to the boat. They had the fridge stocked with water which was a nice perk. It ended up being the highlight of the entire day. The SD speedboat adventure was my favorite water activity by far during my vacation stay…read more Carly was our boat tour guide, and she was very helpful during the entire process. At first, driving the boat at a low speed appeared well until she asked us to speed along a little faster; that's when I panicked. But no worries, she quickly came over with her boat and gave me a "pep talk" encouraging me to try out the faster speed for better control. I was reassured that the boat wouldn't tip over and that there is better control of the steering wheel at a faster speed rate. Once I got used to driving the speed boat at a faster rate, I was able to catch up to the rest of the boats in a timely manner. I got to see sea lions and birds, seagulls, etc. along the water and docks. We saw the Navy boats as well and some cool boats featured in past movie scenes. It was a fun and relaxing way to explore more of SD via boat. I highly recommend you try a speed boat adventure the next time you are out in SD exploring. 10/10!
