Lepe's was recommended to me by my wonderful roofers (Slaten and Sons) who no longer do gutters and have forwarded all their business to Lepe's. I was grateful to have the recommendation. Their office manager, Iris, is a doll and very helpful getting the estimate and install arranged. I ended up having to take a final while they were doing the install (thank you, prof, for that one) but the guys got the work done with very little disturbance. We did have a few minor snags with timing, which I've come to expect with busy contractors completing multiple jobs in a day. Usually it's easier to nail the timing with early morning appts, but since I am in the field in the mornings, only afternoons work. I'm grateful they were able to work around my weird schedule and were super nice about the adjustments. Word to the wise - when Iris puts the appointment in Calendar, this is the time *after* which the appointment will start, not the time that it *will* start. So, my 12N appt actually started at around 2pm. But they finished by sundown and it looks great, so no worries. Also, for those of you on one-way streets or with limited street parking - the guys come with a trailer that needs to be plugged in to operate the gutter cutter, so they need room to park. In my case, they took the trailer back to the shop and manually cut the gutters to fit on the sidewalk because there wasn't enough street parking space for them to work. It was a little tricky, but I so appreciate their extra efforts. The final result is lovely. They matched the color of the new front gutters that I already had and placed the downspouts so that they'd be least obtrustive while moving water away from the house. And the price was right! No haggling, very reasonable, detailed invoice that didn't change from start to finish. I had read another 2022 review that said that they don't take credit cards, but they do now (2023) with a surcharge. I paid via check though and that was easy after getting an invoice emailed to me the same day. Overall, I would totally recommend Lepe's. Great work, guys!

A month 1/2 passed he was never able to come give me a quote, traffic too bad could not make it on time, he lives in Hollister like us. He was responsive on Yelp messages and came out pretty quickly to take a look at the leaking roof issue. Several roofers. I reached out to do not handle roof repairs. Cesar does.. He arrived on time and took many of photos of my rooftop and shared them all with me to show me the issues he observed. Caesar walked the entire roof area to explore where the leaks could be occurring. The flat roof area was problematic with water puddling not draining completely. His estimate was received within 2 days. Although I didn't move forward with Cesar because of his availability, I will definitely reach out to him for future roofing or gutter needs. I found his personality and communication style very amenable and I appreciate his kind and considerate manners. Also he seems to stand by his work with a good warranty. Firstly, this is probably my 3rd ever post on Yelp but I feel compelled to post this out of pure…read morefrustration and disappointment.....even after a few years. I'm currently in the middle of refurbishing the 12 wooden corbels on my house. KR construction "repaired" them a few years ago along with their recommendation to also replace the 8 facia boards. The repair initially looked good, however....... The reason I'm redoing the corbels is because I'm sick of looking at the mismatched, warped, shrunken timber that KR supposedly fixed the issue with. Kevin (owner) lost my respect the day he convinced me to spend more money on replacing all 8 facia boards instead of patching the existing ones by cutting out old rotted wood and using new wood and wood filler. His reasoning was that I'd pull up the drive each day, look up and stare at the shrunken repaired wood and wish I had simply installed new timber. Well, I took the bait and his advice. During the installation of the new corbels his guys measured wrong and used a template that did not match 10 of the 12 corbels. Instead of creating a new template with correct dimensions, they added more wood to the 10 incorrectly measured corbels the in a manner consistent with the "Tetris" game (blocks of wood placed in a strategic method to appear whole). This was completely against his original logic of not using pieces of wood to make a whole piece because of shrinkage issues. It initially looked ok and solved my rotted corbel problem. However, once the sun hit the wood the pieces of wood used to fill gaps soon shrank and warped leaving a hot mess and me staring at them when I pull up my driveway. I reached out to Kevin who said he'd have one of his guys fix the issue for $200. No one ever showed up. Well, fast forward to now and me wasting time and money repairing KR Constructions poor craftsmanship, skill and advice. In short, I see KR signs posted at construction sites and hope he treats them well and does a good job. My experience was that Kevin is a liar and provided a less than adequate service.
