My son has to take Delatin via IV. So how can he be attic if the only way he can get it is that your hospital administer? It's not something you can go off the street and get he hasn't been seeking it off the street so how could you call him an attic? I am very upset with this. I am contacting my should be ashamed of yourself to even allow a doctor to put that in a foul when this type of performance is unacceptable it's just unacceptable so I am filing a formal complaint. She needs to be removed from the rotation. She's rude and not only did she put this in his file, she treat him like he was a piece of dirt up under her shoe. I don't like it at all. He has been in for the last six years. I flew him medically to New Orleans, thinking that you all would take care of him, but hell he could've stayed in California and got this kind of treatment. At least they knew he wasn't an attic and they did give him the medicine that he needed that would somewhat control his pain. I am very upset. Feel free to reach out to me 318512-5885. How would you just want? Just a regular on-call doctor just to come in and say OK we're gonna do this. Why not leave him with a speciallist who will follow the notes accordingly

From my initial check-in with Ms. Mickey to the pre-operative care provided by Ms. Regina and the recovery nurse, Ms. Breann, the experience was exceptionally pleasant. The staff made the entire process significantly easier to manage. While I was aware of what to expect during recovery, their efforts to ensure my comfort were truly commendable. Dr. Gurtner is an excellent physician, and I appreciate her straightforward approach to my condition. She ensured I was well-informed about the procedure, although, of course, no preparation can fully account for the postoperative period. The staff at SMH East consistently provides healthcare services of the highest quality. I have been a patient at these two hospitals since the 1970s, and the standard of care has remained consistently excellent, regardless of the name change.

OH BY THE WAY maybe tell me what the insurance company ruled/said, or is tht TOP Secret, I am going to contact Medical records today and request a complete history of how they treated the leg. I dont a care in the world about the other stuff, I didnt come in here for that, I was super sick though and I am glad they fixed it, They did a killer job on that other than the 14 hour wait for the looking in my stomach thing. I went under it was awesome. I wish I could do that every day!!! Transport. prep (but not no 3 hrs of nothing, the moved to a room with a TV for god sake. Then put me under for 20 hrs. Let me eat, restroom, wash up, Check computer, do it again. No need for a gown you can go under in sweats, t-shirt and zip up hoodie, Well another day of hell awaits, Oh I wish I was a real Voo Doo Priest/Dr..... I would fuck this place up something crazy, and about 5 peopl who are Drs. would not be, they had to cheat or something.... of course everything has been f***** up from the beginning 2 hours yesterday with dietary and food services to get my simple God damn meals. I want two milks, two cereals and two protein drinks. nothing else. I don't want any of what you're serving. I can't eat it. maybe it's the greatest thing in the world, but I can't eat it. my stomach can't eat it so, looking back I thought they had it figured out but now that I'm remembering it right this lady pretty much did it all on her own so they got lunch right and then the lady fixed dinner so they screwed up in 3 hours. then this morning breakfast finally rolls around. we're the last people to get. it is close to 10:00 and I get biscuits and gravy. no cereal like I'm supposed to and I get the full damn thing of food. it's going to go to 100% waste. you want to see what the f****** gravy look like. look at this. you tell me you've ever saw gravy like this. this is what I'm supposed to eat. I don't know how much I'm paying but I'm going to call my insurance company when I'm out of here and hopefully we can get together for because they should not pay any more 15%. whatever room is whatever it cost to stay overnight and whatever the nurse's cost they're worth it. the nurses aren't worth it. the nurse in tax are worth it and like transport that guy that did it. the guy that looked in my stomach that was worth it but everything else I wouldn't pay their bills because they haven't accomplished anything and anytime you want something something simple act like a pillow. I took 4 hours the other night to get a god damn pillow. I can finally walk now so I don't have to depend on other people. I'm serious. I'm going to need f****** mental help when I get out of here. I probably ruined in my reputation. I don't give a f*** this place is f***** me up. this place is like God damn wreck. check out how f***** up this is

The next time I went for the same reason, I had to bring him in in the afternoon and they had no problem making room for him in their schedule. They called me and gave me updates and told me how much things would cost. They told me later they went on and did an X-Ray for free just for peace of mind. It's like these people know how concerned I am about my cat. The receptionist I spoke to when I went in knew me and we had talked about my love of both theology and gaming and we were right back there again. This is one of the kindest businesses I have ever been to and I cannot recommend them enough. I also say that as someone on the spectrum who doesn't normally trust people and feel safe around them. These people are that welcoming.

I had to put my sister there for 21 days because she had a bone infection and a very bad foot ulcer. She needed rehab so she could climb steps and get wound care so she could come back home. Wound care said she didn't have a bone infection, despite her being in the hospital for three weeks, being treated for it, and a biopsy confirming she had one. The wound got worse, yet they kept insisting it looked good. The facility called me one 1/2 days before she had to leave, and they said it was time for her to go. Rehab had not even shown her how to do the steps. So on the last day, they kept rushing her to learn the steps. Needless to say, we still had to carry my sister up the steps into our home. Four days after we left, I rushed her back to the hospital, and she had to have her leg amputated. I feel because of the care at this facility contributed to my sister's foot getting more infected. She also had a foot ulcer on the other heel and was told by the doctor before we left the hospital not to use her heel at all, and the facility insisted my sister use a wheelchair to walk around with and push it with her foot. This is because she does not have good use of her right hand. She was told by one person that they didn't supply towels, and the next person she asked said they simply didn't have any. Everyone has to take a shower in this huge bathroom that has no ventilation and has not been disinfected, so we never use it. The toilet backup occurred while my sister was using the restroom, and her foot, which had an open wound and infection, got wet with urine and water. After screaming for 40 minutes, someone finally came and said she had to wait until the next day for wound care to remove the bandages... really? They let her sugar levels get so low that she almost went into a coma because they overdosed her with insulin. She could only get insulin three times a day. My sister needs insulin more frequently than that because she was not allowed to use her insulin pump. They said they gave her pain medication, but they did not. Every time my sister called them out on something or told me, and I confronted them, they would say they didn't say that or it did not happen. Until she started recording them for me. They were treating her like she had Alzheimer's, and she absolutely does not. The administrative staff was good. They promised me the world when I met with them to put her in the facility. I was thinking they were going to help us, boy, was I totally wrong. The evening staff was a complete joke. People were screaming not to put them in bed at 6:45 p.m. You can hear people screaming from their room for help, and no one would come. The evening staff were sleeping, playing on their phones, and sitting outside with their feet up for hours. I do have the pictures to prove this. The clothing they wore was totally inappropriate. Worst place ever!!! ZERO STARS!

Soooooo pre-katrina, the Ochsner "main campus" was but a mere consideration & most times NOT the choice of hospitals one decided upon... BUUUUTTTT NOOOOOW post-katrina, options are limited & Ochsner has a slight "monopoly" so to speak, in the world of New Orleans clinic/hospitals. So with that being the case, your choices are Ochsner or Ochsner or Ochsner, yeah. Post-Katrina, I have visited this facility more times than I care to mention, either with a relative or a friend. And this time is no different, I'm here with a relative. Review time: Entering the ER triage, we were immediately told to take the elevator to the 8th floor... No reference to which set of elevators... Guess me, my in active labor, aminotic sac ruptured preggo sis & her bestie have to figure it out... Ummm ok. Next we get to the area where she's "to be admitted" & no1 is there to greet us. Sooooo I pushed the "no admittance doors" and admitted, ha... Lol (classic me). So we fiiiind the nurse station... because there was no welcoming committee & then we're wheeled to yet another area. Upon arrival in the L&D triage area, "the correct place" (ER personnel sent us to the post delivery area, we needed pre delivery) we finally get some treatment & attention. She's admitted & we meet a myriad of people, some with great bedside manners & some not so great. Namely, Drs Moore, Pullman, Jordan & Super Nurses Brooke & Emma, ALL members of #teamoutstanding... and then the members of #teamNOTsogreat, well they shall remain nameless. I can honestly say the care, concern & patience shown to us by The L&D Staff, was phenomenal!!! If Alton Ochsner were alive, I'd give the ladies a shout-out & DEMAND a raise. The Ochsner monopoly, the find the elevators episode & the few not so nice L&D staff members, ehhhhh 3 stars it is. And only 3 because of L&D. A few other things to be noted: Southport cafe is all about healthy food choices Getting an appointment here is months out Navigating the hospital itself, is complex The whole Ochsner monopoly, I'm over it
