My Taurus G2C had a rattle I could not diagnose, so I brought it here. He opened it up, poked around, and informed me that the block had been worn down. It wasn't my fault, but it was of cheaper quality so it could be expected. This is the part that has earned my repeat business: the gentleman then very honestly told me that I'd be looking at around $300 to replace it. Now, the gun only cost me $300 as I got it on sale at the time. He was totally transparent and said he could be wrong about part pricing and availability and he could do some digging if I wanted. That statement alone was enough for me to trust him, so I thanked him for his time and said it wasn't worth sinking more than I paid for it (this is not my Canik TP9SF after all). Now this was all about two months ago. I still carry my Taurus because it's smaller and (thankfully) I haven't needed to draw it. On a whim, I decided to look up what a new firing block for this model would be. Sure enough, it matched exactly what the gunsmith had told me. So not only did he know this off the top of his head, which speaks to his knowledge, but he was willing to double check and correct himself if he was misquoting me, which speaks to his integrity. I've bought ammo from this store before and have the utmost faith the rest of the staff is of the same caliber. (Get it? Caliber?) But the winning interaction was with their gunsmith. I will be going to C&R for all my needs from now on.

Bought a new highly polished blue SA-35 Springfield Armory online back on 4/4 and put in the notes…read moreto check the firearm for any issues before sending to my FFL. Received an email from Matthew P. right after placing my order notifying me of the milling defects on the frame on the best one they had in stock (with pictures attached in an email from him), and wanted to know how I'd like to proceed. I notified Springfield Armory about the issue and the firearm in question was sent back to S.A. (before heading my way). Matthew spoke with my wife and took care of the defective SA-35 being sent to Springfield Armory immediately. I called S.A. every week they had it for updates, and they decided to replace the SA-35 in question and send it back to Grady's and then to my FFL. Once received at Grady's, Matthew made a point to get my SA-35 from the loading dock the day it arrived at Grady's, looked it over for any issues, and immediately sent it to my FFL next day air after giving it a thumbs up. Matthew P. went above and beyond in customer service to ensure this customer was accommodated (being a disabled veteran on a limited income).
