If you haven't tried it, I encourage you to give it try. The staff is very nice, gentle, and they know what they are doing!! After your donation you get to raid then refrigerator for juice and the snack basket for treats!! How awesome is that!! Additionally at the table there are a few activity sheets for those of us who love puzzles!! Yippee. Oh, moms. Did I mention it's an hour away from the kids and hubby and it's free. LOL. Their location is HUGE with a lot of staff. The machines were nice and it took little to no time setting the machines up by the staff and donating. Downsides: Like most places, they have an app. BUT, you have to schedule a time to donate. If you miss your time, you have to hope someone else misses their to take their place, or have to come back another day! Long drive all the way to Middletown. They have a child care center, where apparently you can drop off your kids while you donate?(just seems weird)

The staff is really friendly and helps answer questions and concerns. I've never had a real problem donating, and if I have flow issues, they are quick to help or adjust my needle.

First four donations went great. The fifth one I was left with a big bruise from where the employee…read moreshoved the needle further in my vein instead of switching arms. After a full week of healing I went back only to have a different employee screw up the needle stick. I was bruised for two weeks and was not allowed to donate until it was healed. They offered no compensation for the hour I had to wait to see the nurse and file the report on the bruising. The nurse even said there were people on the floor that she wouldn't let stick her with a needle. That was enough to make me find a better place.

My husband and I were greeted nicely and the receptionist pointed us towards the place where I can get care. The nurse practitioner knew how to treat my pain and I am so thankful for her being so kind. I recommend this place for providing good care to me!

I had the worst treatment at this hospital by after care nurses name Jahnse and Jenny at Sion…read morehospital. These nurses allowed me to feel unsafe that I discharge my self early after only 1 night stay from a major surgery. They refused meds that were prescribed to me while I was in extreme pain. They allowed me to remain in blood stained sheets the whole time and played mind games with what meds I was able to take when my charts showed clearly I was prescribed the amount I asked. I haven't even received an after care call since I left. I hope that they re train them proper care to clients this was a very emotional experience i hope no one ever has to encounter again. The evening nurses and the dr who did my surgery were excellent.. but those two day time nurses need to fix their attitude and behavior. It looks bad on the hospital.
