I have been going to the location on Jacksboro Hwy for nearly a year and they have had their ups and downs. They were understaffed for a while and new donors would swamp the express line and cause the flow of people getting in there to halt. Waiting times were 3+ hrs. They have recently hired and have been training new staff and the line issue has been ultimately resolved. Good place, but they need to put more people at the screening desk. read more

The staff are extremely rude and disrespectful, I was a donor for them for the last 18 years and at this particular location approximately 2 months ago they ultimately issued a deferral on me for unknown reasons. I was not called to a donor bed and was treated like a common thief when I questioned them of the e.t.a. of my deposit after my donation that day. Service is ok but some days they stick the hell out of you and it feels like the are trying to lacerate your veins on purpose so you can't come back and get the money you would expect on a monthly basis that they advertise to you. Some days I go there and they are very gentle. After being a new donor I made a 100 my first two donations then another two for $65 then went back only to have my veins lacerated again for $50 then they will tell you may be put on a deferral list so you can't donate until THEIR mistake has cleared up. Needless to say I'm searching for a better place with more competent people who can consistently draw blood without bruising!!!! read more

Dominique, who is now acting as the manager while management is on maternity leave is extremely rude, unprofessional and very immature. She seems to run the clinic or behavior around the clinic like she's gossiping and bullying from junior high school. I was only there one time around her and just saw it spread like wildfire. They also blew my vein. That's never happened to me before. They asked me to come back in a couple of days and sent me off again totally wasting my time and giving me almost like a traumatic experience here. Stay away from this place if you would like to donate I would choose a different location to start. read more

Garbage. Was in state visiting family & wanted to stick with my donations. After two donations I refuse to go back. First donation.... Dude next to me was clearly strung out, homeless, and reeked of feces/urine and they still allowed him to donate. Second donation... I had air bubbles in my lines. The phlebotomist started pushing the bubbles the wrong way towards my arm. I shot up & told her to stop. I'm a certified phleb and as one I know this is a catastrophic move. I had to tell her to stop and to get her supervisor. Clearly not properly trained if she didn't even know which way to roll her machine to clear air bubbles into the blood bowl. To be completely honest.... I only encountered maybe 2 halfway pleasant employees while there & that's really sad. This center just treats people like they are part of an assembly line. Visit a different center if you can. read more

I was let to leave with a rushed half attempt of a bandage at the completion of my donation. Which in turn led to my bandage failing and blood to run down my arm and all over the right side of my shirt, pants and right shoe. When I promptly returned to have my arm bandaged again, I was yelled at to "Go to the sink!" Upon the second attempt to bandage my arm I pointed out the obvious blood all over the right side of my cloths and was told, "Sorry dude." I understand the need for plasma, but it shouldn't cost me the cloths off my back due to negligence not of my own. Unprofessional. Don't think I'll be returning. I don't know. read more

Beware of Katie,....Her lack of training possibly contributed to my injury. But when she blamed the machine negated that statement as she placed another Donor on the same bed after me me. She knowingly placed a needle in the wrong direction of the way the vein was running therefore creating pain and swelling of the injection site. She would not allow me to take the ice pack home even though I told her it's going to take a couple hours to get home as I don't drive. I spent the weekend ice packs and heating pads until Monday morning when I went to the er. During the weekend I submitted pictures to the media department at corporate offices. A contacted Jacksboro I spoke with the nurse who showed very little empathy even when I told her that the bruises were running all the way down to my wrist. Monday when I went to the ER and had an ultrasound the ER doctor confirmed that she had ruptured the vein and I'll be spending the next two to three weeks of bruises running down even to my fingertips. Wednesday when I went to Jacksboro to meet with this management they showed little and no empathy and understanding and all they offered me was an Express pass and to guarantee it would lose my current level of pay. They aren't willing to help reimburse me for my time or expenses due to the lack of training or lack of concern Express not only by them but by Katie as well. So that is why I'm writing this review to let you know that drama only cares about the money you bring them with your plasma which is so many times over what they pay us for the initial donation. read more
