They have 50% your tab hookah drinks food a straight 50% off. Me and my homegirl met for drinks and chit chat. **This would be my second time here ( came for my birthday gathering but I was drunk so I didn't leave a full review since it's not that accurate)** During the visit, our soccer was very nice. We sat on the outside patio. We had a couple rounds of drinks and Hookah on Friday. They have a free lemon drop shot. The shot didn't taste like the drink so I personally didn't like it. But I enjoyed the lemon drops that I paid for. Initially, I wanted to espresso martini, but they were short the ingredients at the bar so I was not able to indulge. Our server asked if we would prefer double shots and what type of liquor. And here's where the story goes wrong.- I did accept the double shot unknowing that the double shot was the same price of another drink plus a five dollar up charge for using termana. My drink was $12 but ended up being an extra 17 because of the double shy in this amount of making each drink almost $30. This was deterring because we were not advised upfront. We did not find out until we got our check so if you come be aware of the day do itemize every single thing we got extra bread with our muscles. We paid an extra four dollars for bread. We asked for water I believe the water was four dollars. The only thing we weren't charge for was the extra coal for the hookah. Again, the ambience wasn't mad. The service wasn't bad. Just be aware that they will nickel and dime ask 100,000 questions. I could've had two drinks for the price of one drink once they added all the extra add-ons..... and I went for the special so I probably could've got four drinks for the price of one drink had I been advised of the up charges. Other than that as a typical Atlanta spot, you are going to pay $20 to vallet. The music was pretty good. It was a good mix, but it's nothing to write home about. The vibe was very chilled just amongst the restaurant so they should've considered doing like a 90s vibe on Fridays it's real relaxed. Stopped by on a random Saturday after receiving at text from them saying that everything was 50% off and who can pass up that great deal! Parking was $10 to self park or valet. It started of interesting, then reeeeally swung toward the positive. Parking is still a little weird, but we found a spot around the corner. Then we were able to get a table in the patio-like area, which has a pretty set up! You have to text a number to pull up the menu on the phone, BUT once we got our orders in, things started to look up! IMPORTANT TO NOTE: There is FREE hookah before 6pm on weekdays. Heart eyes, okay? Let's start with the parking -- there's barely a parking lot, and it's outrageously priced. Before 7 p.m., it's $10, but most of the time it jumps to $20 or even $50 if you want to be close. Totally not worth it. Inside, the restaurant is tiny, the bar is small, and even though only three people were sitting there, it still took forever for someone to hand me a QR code for the menu. When I finally saw the menu, I was shocked -- lamb chops for $50, and that doesn't even include the sides listed under their other dinner options. The pricing is ridiculous for what you get. The interior itself felt grimy and unclean, definitely not the type of place that matches their high prices. On top of that, when I walked in, security immediately searched my purse and asked for ID -- which made me feel uncomfortable right away. The environment overall seemed more male-dominated, which would have been fine except I realized quickly this may be a known gay man hookup spot and that's okay but not what I expected and I didn't feel welcome. To make things worse, I was given an expensive bottled water without being asked whether I wanted bottled or tap -- while I literally watched other customers being served glasses of water. When I decided to leave (I was there less than 10 minutes total), the valet attendant said "no refunds" for the $10 parking. I politely asked who runs the parking lot since he claimed it wasn't owned by Octopus Kitchen. He stalled, went inside, and came back with a woman named Jocelyn, who said she was the manager. She couldn't (or wouldn't) provide the name of the company that runs the lot, saying they "don't know." At that point, three people surrounded me -- the valet, security, and the manager, which was completely unnecessary. I stayed calm and respectful the entire time, just asking who managed the parking. The situation felt unprofessional, unsafe, and borderline scammy. To top it off, the manager claimed the valet "didn't speak English," even though he had just spoken to me clearly. If that's true, it's even more concerning that someone who handles customers' vehicles and payments can't communicate effectively. Overall, this place is a complete disaster -- from the parking situation to the service to the overall atmosphere. I would never recommend Octopus Kitchen to anyone. It's no wonder they constantly have to send out "50% off your entire bill" text promotions--because the lack of patrons likely stems from poor integrity and terrible communication. We recently dined here using one of those offers, and it became clear that the deal is misleading. They try to charge gratuity based on the pre-discount total, not your actual final bill. Our bill came to $160 after the discount, but they calculated gratuity based on the original $300 total. That's not only unethical--it's actually illegal. It felt like a scam and completely soured our experience. On top of that, they push the $25 brunch bottles hard because it's extremely low-quality brut. Any time we've tried to order one of the other proseccos or the $75 Moët bottle (which should be half off too), they suddenly "ran out." It's very obvious they do this to avoid honoring the better-value deals they promote. This was our last time dining here. My husband and I shouldn't have to argue over a bill that's intentionally padded and wrong. I brought my friends here who were visiting New York and was severely embarrassed. I had a truly disappointing experience at Octopus Kitchen. From the moment we walked in, the service was unwelcoming. Both the manager and our server gave us a hard time when we tried to use a valid 50% off code--they treated us like we were trying to cheat the system instead of honoring the promotion they advertised. On top of the poor attitude, the restaurant was not clean. There were flies around our table, which made it hard to enjoy our meal. To make matters worse, they charge $20 for valet parking and offer no validation. It's ridiculous to pay that much when you're already spending your money at their establishment. Between the unfriendly staff, unsanitary conditions, and unreasonable parking fees, this was a complete waste of time and money. I won't be back and I wouldn't recommend it to anyone. "Standard" valet was $20 to move my car maybe 5 feet. This place has no idea what to be. Is it an upscale seafood restaurant? A hookah lounge? A sports bar? A club? Yes to all. For my entree' I ordered the lamb chops...VERY GOOD! So good, that my friend n her husband was picking at my leftover bones!! LMBO!! My husband initially ordered the seafood pasta, which he returned b/c he didn't know it was spicy and he said that it wasn't good AT ALL! I visited this place today. I had a hard time finding parking so I had to call. I get the info (valet only). I'm fine with that. I get sat in the back and Izzy is our server. She is nice. It had no seasoning. I asked for salt and pepper but it did nothing to help the flavor. Then comes the check. The check is presented on the black thing in her hand. She goes over the check but conveniently does not scroll to the bottom. But I am a numbers person and 100 for the date night special plus 8 for the 2 waters does not make anything 140. So I told her she is moving too fast and asked her what the difference was. She says taxes. By this time I done moved that tab back to the receipt side (she had done moved to the tip screen). I scroll to the bottom. I asked her what the $20+ was for (taxes were like $8). My friend says gratuities. So now I am angry - not because I wasn't going to tip but because she left that out and tried to get me to do an ADDITIONAL tip! She says she was going to mention it. No you weren't. You were on the screen telling me to select a tip. So then she says it is on the menu. No. It is not. The menu is digital. So after I paid, she left and NEVER came back to the table. I looked on the site for this 20% on all tabs. No where to be found. I like to try new restaurants but I won't be back to this one. And I won't refer anyone. Because all she had to do was BE HONEST. Where do I begin? We called to ask about parking. They said they have valet. They failed to mention it is $20!!! There is no parking lot. We found street parking across the street. The waitress was playing with her hair as she was telling us how to get the menu on our phone. The QR code sends you a text instead of taking you to the website. That's a sneaky way of getting your phone number. They do not have Diet Coke, Coke, Zero, or even unsweetened tea. So we asked for water. The waitress returns with two bottles of water. As she was about to open a bottle I asked if there is a charge and she said yes $4. So no tap water, but $4 for bottled water that she failed to tell me ahead of time. Uh, no thanks!! I asked if they have broiled or grilled octopus. She said no. Then she said yes we have sautéd. So the waitress doesn't know the difference. At this point, my friend and I got up and left. Valet Parking Only however there is a lot in the rear of the plaza and you walk around to the entrance. Security at entry Staff was really friendly. The decor was super cute. Open seating for Thursday. Price point for the area is on target but the drinks and food were good. The drinks were very good quality and I appreciate the variety of options. $16 per drink price point. I had the calamari. It's like my chicken fingers at a restaurant and they were good. The potatoes that were served with were not great with the crispy calamari so I stole some of my friends fries. The coconut shrimp needed a bit more seasoning but the shrimp was juicy! Average bill $50 per person with tip. Three drinks and a food item then you are pushing $100. Definitely recommend for drinks. Cheers. read more

This place should not be a restaurant on Resy.. it's simply a bar and hookah club lounge.. very loud music.. we didn't even get to try the food due to the parking situation ( $20 valet only parking ) and no tap water served.. only water is bottled water for a cost. Came here for a group dinner and they sat us at a table that couldn't even accommodate the entire party. Then, we moved tables and no one came to service us for 10 minutes. The restaurant at this point was still very empty. I ordered mussels and fries and was disappointed. The mussels were overcooked, fishy, and the sauce had minimal flavor. Parking was also very expensive. They have a small lot for $30 (but I heard they just through out a number and it changes sometimes).
