So not only did I lose my gift card, that basically means they stole that $60. I should have tried to keep the actual card and gone to BBB but they took it away from me. VB is kind of in the middle of nowhere but the Lake Geneva moms seem to have it on the radar, with good reason. You won't find any dusty crap or musty old garbage here - everything is beautifully arranged, perfectly displayed and honestly, pretty reasonably priced. They have helpful and kind staff and even measuring tapes in strategic spots to help you out, so strap on that Michael Kors handbag and get ready to SPEND! Most of this isn't my personal style but I didn't leave without a few heavenly smelling candles and a sassy greeting card. This is my absolute favorite thrift store in all of Rockford area. The prices are always really reasonable, and regular sales mean you're often getting a deal on that. The woman who runs the store is just so sweet and so friendly, and even though there's usually some kind of Jesus radio playing in the background and I get the impression that she's really religious, she's the nice kind of Christian. I've been to other Christian thrift stores that feel uncomfortable, judgmental, and pushy but this place is just really professional and fun.
