When I got it, it wasn't anything like the large coffee-chain muck I've come to expect. They were SO kind and understanding, and quickly (well, with great care), made me a dulce de leche cappuccino instead, which was delish! If you're looking for basic coffee, this may not be your cuppa. But if you want REAL coffee made with care and precision, this is the place to be.

The doughnuts were incredibly fresh, warm, light, and fluffy. Every flavor we tried was delicious, but the vanilla glazed and the toasted almond sesame cinnamon were my favorite. If you're in Asheville, this spot is definitely worth a visit.

Odd's is a cute little spot over in West Asheville with plenty of seating, cozy seating, tons of tea, a variety of coffee beverages, and an obviously welcoming atmosphere for those who are laptop-toting nomads (like myself). We came in on a weekday afternoon and the place was almost completely full. Since the day has been peppered with lots and lots of coffee from all over AVL, I decided to settle for a hot chocolate. Served in a mug and adorned lovingly with a dollop of whipped cream. It's so rare for my to order something like this so it was a real treat. Absolutely delicious, not too hot (channeling my inner 4-year-old self) and just the right amount. I was rather happy to have this mug on such a blustery day. I think the sweet spot to score is in the back corner. Cozy chairs and plenty of plugs for your litany of devices. We were nice and comfortable throughout our conversation back there. Great spot for the collection of Asheville coffee shops. I'm looking forward to a return visit. read more

I spent three days in Asheville and I stopped by Odd's every single day! I didn't even want to look at other coffee houses and I had originally planned my trip around trying the best coffee in Asheville. The Dreamer Latte in Odd's was the most delicious, decadent, delicious (it needed to be said twice), with soft lavender and honey flavors. I've never tasted a coffee with such a perfect balance in flavors. My husband isn't even a "floral" fan but he loved this drink and enjoyed it hot, warm, and cold. The desserts in this place are also amazing! I brought home some of the chocolate/pear gluten free brownies, raspberry crumble cake, and mint chocolate brownies and they've been getting me through my work week. This is my neighborhood coffee shop. It is the closest place to my house, and the least crowded. But, there is a reason for that: As a work space, there are not heaps of plugs, and depending on where you sit, there are none close. The coffee is good enough, not great. Almost on the burnt side, but that could be due to Counter Culture's roasting. The food is pretty good. Not made to order fresh, but they have options for muffins, desserts, quiche and more. My biggest complaint about the food is that if you get something warmed, it is done in a microwave.
