Everything bagel with scallion cream cheese - bagel was way too hard. Would not recommend.

A lot to like about Odd's Cafe! We came in on a Friday morning and ordered at the counter right away. The inside has a good amount of seating, and we saw folks working; it's really chill, and the service is friendly. Drinks were prepared speedily and were so delish. I enjoyed my hot brambleberry chai latte (a special), which had light notes of berry. The iced Thai coffee was also tasty and not overly sweet. To eat, I got a strawberry coffee cake slice, which was crumbly, fruity, and perfect - I want the recipe! I unfortunately have to leave off a star for the bagel. We got a toasted everything bagel with scallion cream cheese, and although the cream cheese was nice, the bagel was absolutely rock hard. We tried our best to eat it, but it started to hurt, and we just couldn't get through it. Come here for a cool place to hang out/work with drinks and pastries, but avoid the bagels.

Great baked goods and great coffee but it's the soft music and cool breeze from the open converted garage door window that makes this place a great stop. While you shouldn't be in a hurry because the vibe is all about slow down and enjoy the moment, the service is quick and friendly. We enjoyed on this most recent visit a slice of quiche and gluten free frittata and a blueberry scone (with big fresh blueberries) as well as a piece of strawberry oat bar. That all went well with our cappuccinos served in mugs. Nothing odd about enjoying the moment at Odd's Cafe!

Solid spot for a Coffee and work session, but there are other more amazing coffee shops in the area. Asheville definitely has some five-star coffee establishments. I will say that this is a nice neighborhood place and I wouldn't skip it but I also wouldnt go out of my way for it. I totally agree that unless you're going at an off hour during the week day it's difficult to find parking. Love the ambience and the tall ceilings and wood tables. Lots of space to sit and work but it's all very open. So it's definitely not gonna be quiet. They d have a little bit of outdoor seating as well. Bathrooms are in the back and shared. The smoothie was huge, but felt like maybe they added water? I hope so because otherwise it would've been half my daily calories. I would've taken it smaller and stronger taste. But I did like the flavor in general. Iced coffee was OK. They had a lot of food to choose from and I appreciate that it was plentiful and diverse especially for a coffee shop.

This is a great coffee/pastry/quiche shop located in a cool walkable neighborhood. We were visiting Asheville and a friend who, lives in town, suggested we meet here for a coffee. When we first arrived around 10:00 am, it was great. No lines and plenty of seats. There is even outside seating in the back. By 11:00, it was crazy packed. It was hard to maneuver in and out, and the line was out the door. suggestion is go early. The name implies that this is a lunch place, but we only saw pastries, cookies and quiches. I tried the gingersnap it was really good. I was surprised that it wasn't a soft cookie, but it still was really good.

Ordered a cappuccino here with oat milk, and it tasted fine. The smooth foam blended in with the drink, so that I could enjoy the texture of both as I drank it. The espresso at the base had a slight tartness instead of the nuttiness that I usually prefer with my espresso, but it was not too bad. The ambiance was chill, and it has a nice outdoor patio in the back if you want to sit outside, and service was quick and responsive.

Cute cafe environment was cozy with walls covered in art and friendly service. Grabbed some tasty smoothies and a slice of quiche to go along with some coffees.

Love the vibes! I visited here a few times during my trip to Asheville. The iced mocha latte and salted maple latte are delicious. They have plenty of seating inside. This was one of the few coffee shops in town that are open during the evening, which was really great for studying after work.

    My yummy gingerbread coffees!

This joint has now become one of my study session go-to spots! My current favorite coffee in town is the fall menu Sweet Potato Marshmallow Latte! Kolache selections vary depending on the time of day, as they're made fresh in small batches. My favorites are the jalapeño egg and the sausage gravy flavors. Inside seating is adequate, and there are some tables with access to outlets. Staff has always been friendly. Music selection is usually really good! The downside is the parking, there is a decent amount of street parking, especially compared to Haywood Road more west of here. I've never had a problem getting a spot during morning/early afternoon on any day of the week. Tucked away near the end of Broadway, Rowan possesses a warm and understated charm. The soft lighting and calm atmosphere create a cozy ambiance that exudes thoughtfully curated design, while the gentle hum of conversation and espresso machines add a touch of life to the space. It's the kind of coffee shop where rainy afternoons feel like a cinematic scene from your favorite film. Recently, I met a date here, as Rowan seemed like the perfect setting for such a memorable beginning. After we greeted one another with an intimate kiss just outside the doors of Rowan Coffee, I observed a Duchenne smile flash across her face before we embarked on what became an emotionally recursive, psychologically layered Asheville odyssey, as we explored Malaprop's Bookstore, the Grove Arcade, Wall Street, Pack Square Park, I.M. Pei's connection to structures outside both the Louvre and the Asheville Art Museum, French Broad Chocolate, Cúrate, and the South Slope. The coffee at Rowan is truly exceptional. Each cup is thoughtfully crafted, balanced, and served with care by passionate baristas. It can be rather challenging to find premium cold brew these days, but the cold brew on offer here is some of the best I've found in Asheville. Whether you're enjoying a cappuccino, catching up with a friend, or studying/working near the back, Rowan provides the perfect atmosphere for unwinding and savoring the moment. My date ordered a mocha that morning, and based on the enthusiasm with which it disappeared, I'd be remiss not to mention it. The mochas are so good here that girls do circle back. And if you don't, you're missing out. What truly sets Rowan apart is its comfort. It's an intimate space without being overcrowded; it's stylish without being pretentious. It encourages conversation, reflection, and even accidental three-hour stays.

When we got there the parking lot was absolutely packed, but by the time we left we were the last car remaining since they were about to close. The woman behind the cashier was super friendly and helped us choose sandwiches and also gave us some tips on what to check out in the arts district after. I went with the classic sandwich and thought it was pretty tasty. However, my husband and I also split a carrot cake and that was the real winner of the lunch. And I washed it all down with an iced latte, which I regretted later that evening when I couldn't fall asleep due to a late coffee. I have to cut myselff off from caffeine at noon these days.
