What an awesome train station!!! It was my first time using a train in the U.S. and it was such an adventure. The station was small and the person selling tickets didn't seem like they were in a very happy mood, but I did not let that get my experience down. But 4 stars for the museum in the back being closed. It was too cute of a building for it to not be open :( The train wasn't late and the seats were comfy. I love the price: $10 round trip to Washington, D.C. Can't complain!

I could have given two stars but I dont ride trains so I really havn't experienced better. The woman who sold me my ticket was super nice. The station is old. Nothing special to see here - get your ticket and move on!

I am not as knowledgeable as some of the other more experienced riders as I usually catch the metro at the New Carrolton station. This was my first time riding the MARC Penn Line to Union Station and I have to say it was a breeze. This is perhaps because it was a Sunday afternoon and you could actually have an entire car to yourself. Yes it was that empty. I do wish there were later times the MARC ran as the latest time the last train leaves DC a little after 7 on Sundays.

A standard rail station. The bathroom was clean and the A/C worked well. Very convenient to Baltimore and DC. The Acela does not stop here! It zips right through the center tracks.

Very uncomforble for a short guy, i can only imagine for a taller guy!

Safe, clean and easy. No line at all, helpful staff. The train was on time and clean as well. No issues and a giant parking lot!

Does anyone know where else you can park? I've tried many times and fail to fb parking each morning? Unfortunately a drop off form my husband isn't possible since he has a ridiculous work schedule w the army.

There's a big overflow lot across the street. Take Annapolis Rd and turn by the small cemetery, like you're going into the townhouses. There are signs to the lot, and to get back to the train station you just walk under the bridge. Be aware, even…

Hello. I am a new rider and was confused about what car to board when boarding at Union Station to exit at Odenton. For ex. once they said that Odenton passengers need to exit from the first (maybe last) 2 cars. Is this random? It is hard to hear too

It depends on what time you take the train back to Odenton. The rush hour trains will have all doors open at Odenton, but some runs will only have the first 2-3 doors open. Generally speaking, you should be okay if you sit in a middle car but you…
