It also has a ramp to the platform from the parking lot and an elevator, if you can't do stairs. The north-bound platform is on the side with the parking lot. For the southbound platform, you have to either take stairs or the elevator to a pedestrian bridge across the tracks to the opposite side. Beware that the elevator is slow and not very big, so there will likely be a wait to use it.

There are two kiosks where you can purchase tickets, however one of them was broken when I was there, so there was a line forming. Fortunately, if you have the CharmPass app, you can buy tickets on your phone. There is no in-person kiosk so there is no one you can ask questions to. There is an elevator available as well if you do not want to/can not take the stairs. Amtrak trains do pass by this station, but do not stop here. You can only board the Marc trains at this station.

It's a grand Beaux-Arts building with columns outside an in, high ceilings in the main hall for the classic train-station acoustics, and rather ornate décor, with quaint old wooden doors. This time (Apr 2026) was for a trip to the northeast. It was easy to reserve a ticket online. We were dropped off about 45-min early for an 8am train, to avoid rushing and have time to grab a coffee from Dunkin. The train was on-time, which seems to be usually the case early in the morning. Drop-off is conveniently right out front, but traffic can be difficult. There's two entry streets, from the south and east, a squared circle, and one exit to the west. It takes patience, and nerve, to merge, drop-off, or pick-up. I cant say i observed courteous driving, but people were 95% practical, which worked out with only a fairly normal level of urban driving tension. There's a parking garage with an easy entrance that curves around west off St. Paul. The garage is said to exit somewhere onto Charles, i dont know where. I love the look of the station! Drop-off and pickup are messy but ultimately convenient. The garage is a mystery to me. Don't expect a food court beyond a Dunkin. Morning travel usually has no delays. For all that, it's not so bad, and we love the occasional trip by rail.

Tolls were even lifted, so it was also free. Parking on site for game day is around $50. So big savings. The ride in was smooth and after 4-5 stops the arrival is st the stadium. I am deducting 1.5 star due to issues on the return train to my car. The train had issues with the car overfilled and a door not closing. It delayed us around 25 minutes. Of note the parking lot boast car chargers. I also felt completely safe. 3.5 rounding up and recommend.

The interior could use a tad bit of "modernization" however. The seating is a tad bit outdated and some chairs are broken. The bathrooms could use more ventilation. During the summer time. They definitely utilize the AC to the MAX which is a major plus. During the summer time the place is virtually an ice box. , During the winter time. Heat is definitely utilized. They have power outlets. Charged my e-bike a few times here while waiting for the train. The staff was very friendly and accommodating. One thing you'll notice is when the Acela passes by at high speeds. The station almost feels like the "I Love Lucy" episode where the bunk beds are sliding across the room when the train passes by in that episode. Lol. ,No chairs move or anything but you can definitely feel the vibration somewhat when the Acela is passing. The staff here is amazing. Very very social and professional. Always smiling and happy. Very relaxed and calm staff. Greetings coming and going which is a major plus. The overall cleanliness is amazing. No trash cans overflowing nor empty toilet paper rolls in the bathroom. Soap dispensers are loaded with soap and the sinks have somewhat good water pressure. The overall environment is very relaxed and very calm. The general crowd is very highly disciplined. Mainly adults. Some kids. All very highly disciplined. There's an attached parking lot on both sides of the station as well as bike racks with surveillance. During the night time, The station is very well lit to deter crime which is another plus. Overall A++++++, The best part of the Odenton station is the staff. The interior infrastructure could use a tad bit of modernization though. During the holidays. The themes are amazing.....
