Garavanian Travel did all of the travel bookings for my June 2010 honeymoon…read more I initially had no idea where I wanted to go on my honeymoon but knew I wanted to go through a travel agency. I work in Chelmsford and had driven by Garavanian many times. Gabe was very helpful, giving me more literature than I could go through on various locations in the geographic areas I was interested in. With his help, I eventually selected the Sandals La Toc in St. Lucia. He was very helpful in giving me all sorts of advice, as he had been to this specific resort several times as well as most of the other places we spoke of. He did a great job of walking me through the merits of each room/suite I was interested in and got me a great deal on a suite for our 2 week stay. He was great with the airfare as well - constantly emailing me when deals would come through via the various airlines that flew to St. Lucia. It was nice to go through a travel agent that actually had first hand knowledge of the resort where we were headed. Any question he didn't have an answer to he would call them up while I was there to get me as much information as he could. Garavanian Travel is a Sandals preferred vendor so they do get some nice pricing at the resorts. I also told Gabe of a few requests we had while we were at the resort (including my husbands birthday) that were taken care of while we were there. It was obvious that he did a great job of communicating with the resort. I'm not sure how they do with non-Sandals related travel but in this situation Garavanian really did a great job for us. Any trip we take in the future whether it be a Sandals trip or not, I am first going to check in at Garavanian.

I made an appointment online to renew my driver's license. Lowell was chosen because it had open…read moreappointments. I squeezed my tiny car into a tiny parking space in front of the AAA building. I was greeted by one of two gatekeepers who ordered me to produce my birth certificate. She announced that my certificate was lacking a seal. That's because the state issued photostats in that era and didn't affix a seal. She ignored the certificate number at the top of the page but conferred with the other gatekeeper who also ignored the certificate number. I was ordered to get a new birth certificate from New York City for the license renewal to go forward. I was later notified by AAA that birth certificates must display the certificate number for the document to be valid. The original birth certificate I presented clearly showed certificate numbers in the upper right hand corner of the document. Cost: $41.00 for a new birth certificate 50.00 license renewal (completed at another AAA location.) 15.00 for gas to and from Lowell Total $106.00 My recommendation is that people avoid the Lowell AAA RMV.

We just returned from our second European trip that was booked by Cindy. The hotels she recommended (7 of them!) were all clean, comfortable and reasonably priced. She suggested ways that we could save money and provided us with discount codes, too. Cindy went "over and above" when we couldn't locate our tour guide for the Eiffel Tower. I contacted her by text and she immediately went to work to identify and provide me with the guide's mobile number and also, provide the guide with my number. Long story short...we connected with the guide and were able to enjoy all the benefits of a guided tour over general admission. We look forward to working with Cindy again and recommending her to our family and friends :)

Cindy planned a trip for my daughter, husband, granddaughter, and 2 friends. The 5 people who went…read moreon this trip to Italy made the most of their time in this wonderful country and enjoyed it. Cindy did not fulfill my request to put them in excellent hotels in good neighborhoods for each part of the trip. Although I did not go to Italy, the problems Cindy created because of her inattention to my requests were expensive to solve. The group enjoyed Italy despite Cindy. It was only because my daughter was proactive and worked around her incompetence that the trip was successful. I would not recommend Cindy.
