When I saw that Grant Travel was close by, and they had a few good reviews, I decided to give them a call and leave a message. After hearing back from her, she listened to my interests and immediately began tending to my needs. After expressing an interest in both Disney AND a cruise, she emailed me a variety of different cruises that left from the Orlando area. She informed my fiancé and I of the different cruise lines and what was unique to each one. Then, she helped us find information about the best package possible for Disney. We ended up going with a meal plan and fast passes, and she recommended going with insurance just in case of a hurricane as we would be going during hurricane peak season (which she advised against). She showed us different hotels of the Disney resorts and helped us choose one that suited us best, requesting the Port Orleans French Quarter's best hotel room for our honeymoon. She helped us get our plane tickets as well, carefully detailing how we would be transported on each part of our journey. Gloria also nudged us when it was time to start making dinner reservations as well as fast pass requests. Finally, she helped us with purchasing Universal and Adventure Island passes along with the best seats for the Blue Man group. When it came to booking our cruise, she was careful to detail the prices of each suite / room option, even making recommendations as to what part of the cruise to stay in to prevent noise and seasickness. Sound like a lot? It should. It was a lot to take care of! Disney package. Food. Lodging. Plane tickets. Cruise planning. Transportation. No worries for me. In our last visit, snuggled once more in Panera Bread, we got to go over everything. Every email she had ever sent me with tickets or specifics to my travels was printed and ORGANIZED nice and neat for me in a folder along with our printed luggage tags. I contacted her by text and she immediately went to work to identify and provide me with the guide's mobile number and also, provide the guide with my number. Long story short...we connected with the guide and were able to enjoy all the benefits of a guided tour over general admission. Cindy did not fulfill my request to put them in excellent hotels in good neighborhoods for each part of the trip. We called on October 7th and spoke to someone who said he would call the new customer renting the vehicle to see if they could locate my card in the car. Well, we realized after, this Hertz Trash Employee didnt even take down my information, so we called back on the 9th and the Trash Bag said the rental had been extended by that customer. Well, these guys like to eat McDonald's because they used my debit card there this evening - November 11 in Lowell, MA. Here is why I know the Hertz employees stole my card and not the customer renting the vehicle. 1. The customer renting the vehicle would have their credit card and ID linked to the car my card was left in, so it would be pretty dumb to take a card and use it when all their information could be found on file. 2. The Lowell, MA McDonald's is right down the street from this Hertz (less than a mile), making it quite convenient for a junked out employee to acquire a little snack with a stolen card. 3. How many people rent cars to drive around their home city? Most rentals are for people out of town or traveling or business, so chances are, the swindler of my card must be close (.7 miles) to the McDonald's they bought their snack at. I hope they get e.coli from their stolen treat. These people are complete degenerates. Do not do business here. Wait there was a man of color who was really nice. Today, I've had a very disturbing experience. Briefly: luggage carousel took a long time to get rolling (about 40 minutes). I called the dispatch to alert them so that they'd know A) I'm not ghosting and B) probably don't want to rush to the pickup zone if they have a better place to wait. 30min into my wait (25min after my courtesy call), the boss from headquarters calls me and demands that I tip the driver extra because they don't pay him to wait more than 30min. And he wasn't nice about it. Thing is, I'd already tipped nicely on the pre-pay (which the rude caller knew), and given the hard time we were all having with this delay and a late hour, I was planning to give a little cash too. This call changed my experience, changed my feeling about tipping the extra (I couldn't feel anything but resentment), and also admittedly reduced the amount of that extra cash when I did cough it up. Driver also made it clear that he was not happy to be here, and that I was obviously a tremendous inconvenience. For the price I paid, I would have appreciated a bit more commiserating attitude versus a misdirected anger attitude. Waiting isn't super fun for anyone, but at least he was sitting in a warm car and had all of his belongings. Please anyone who has a better airport limo company in this area feel free to DM me.
