They speak to you in a condescending tone that just makes you feel inferior. They constantly assume you cannot afford their varying prices. A fill in can range from $30-$70 depending on the male owner's mood that day. He completely disrespected me and made me cry in front of all clients in the store simply because I advocated for myself when they tried to skip my turn. The manager got in my face as I was sitting and made several hand gestures as if I were nothing. He never apologized and just doubled down on his unprofessional behavior. He made sure to protect his white lady clients all the while. Not to mention the unsanitary practices and lack of care that lead to fungus growing on my nail. This place is a disaster. Stay far away.

So now I am back trying to get them to fix the one nail. Of course they want to hurry and drill off the polish. Naw, nope. I asked for the pusher and get the polish off myself. Now they are ignoring me. I wonder how long this is going to take. Update: So the tech, who serviced me last night and now today was not happy to see me. The feeling was mutual. So she begins by pulling out the drill. Ma'am what are you drilling? You drilled last night! She stated she had to get the product off the edges. Ugh, OK. So she does her thing and was about to put the polish on. I stopped her and asked about the base coat to which she responded I had product still on. This is vexing to me as out of the same mouth she said she had to drill it off. At this point, I am well beyond over with this place. Nail fix polish technique sucks. I bet this won't last the rest of the week. And there is more! 3 days later the FN polish on my other hand starts bubbling up!

When we first visited the address on a Wednesday at 11am, they were closed. We were disappointed with the very-limited hours of operation (the schedule posted on Yelp is inaccurate), but coordinated to come back as soon as we could anyway, trying to be optimistic. Today we visited at noon, two hours before closing (which is 2pm on a Saturday). Nobody was present in what we assume was the reception area and nobody greeted us, even when the door chimed, so we walked into the back (the business is out of an older house,) and found two ladies with clients receiving manicures, who immediately greeted us with cold, annoyed stares, not saying a word. My wife immediately apologized, feeling like she wasn't welcome because of the awkward and intense glare from the employees. She explained that this was our first visit, and asked if clients were seen by appointment only. One lady hesitantly responded in a deadpan voice that they take walk-ins sometimes. When my wife asked if she could get a manicure, the ladies looked at each other simultaneously and said, "No, don't have time," then continued their work, pretending not to notice us still standing there like idiots. Nobody offered to schedule a future appointment or even offered an apology. It's hard to put into words the overwhelming feeling of snotty judgement we both received. We walked ourselves out of the dark residence, feeling icky. My wife and I enjoy bicycling around our little town, especially lately in the springtime, and were dressed in active attire when we visited. Based on the "greeting" we'd received, we questioned whether we were being judged based on our appearance. We were not treated with dignity and respect whatever the case was, and we feel far too unwelcome to return.

Unfortunately, and to my horror, while Mr. Jimmy was working on me, I saw that the supplies being used were already used (files and buffers). That is a big no-no, that is how you get a nail fungus. I dealt with it, however, but I fear once I remove these nails, I'll find something there that wasn't there before. If you decide to go here, bring your own supplies just in case.

She raises her voice at me and says she doesn't know what to do to fix it. She's been the only person coloring my hair for quite a while. I ask her then if she can't fix it can the manager fix it. The manager asks me to text her photos of my hair. I do, then the manager doesn't call me but texts me that my hair is too damaged for her to fix. Again her stylist is the only person that has touched it. They can't be bothered to fix it . She doesn't offer me a refund or anything. I spent almost $300 for damaged hair that I have to then pay someone else to fix. I call to speak to the manager but she is too busy to call me. I don't hear from her at all until I post a photo of my hair online. Then she sends me a ton of text messages berating me and saying I was rude to the stylist (no I wasn't) and to some random other manager which I only know of the one manager so obviously a lie and tells me I am forbidden to come back to the salon. I wouldn't go back there if you paid me. I can f up my own hair for way less than what they charge. I asked her to stop texting me. She texted me again. The behavior is very immature and unprofessional.

She did highlights for me, acknowledged the orange in my hair after she finished and told me to come back in since I clearly asked for ashy blonde highlights. Leah didn't know if a correction would be extra charge even though she and I both acknowledged the hair color was not right in the front. 2 days after I couldn't deal with the orange anymore, I contacted the salon that didn't know either if they'd charge me again (?) then later said it would be a corrective treatment and I had already paid so it would be free only after going back and forth . I came back for the fix, waited for 25 min (even after my scheduled fix was moved back 30 min). They then told me I needed to sign a long contract acknowledging hair damage upon correction and no more corrections for free or refund (no hair salon ever does this- they must get corrections often ) . To correct , Leah said she'd only do 6 additional foils which I knew would not work as she was fixing my front money piece highlights and only adding more pieces only to that front piece! I asked her multiple times to add gradual highlights for the additional blocked lightening she was doing she said she could only do 6 and she couldn't even blow dry more than those pieces to see if they looked good. I left trying to maintain my calm and hope that the rest of my hair once it dried would look good, they don't dry your hair without charging you again for drying when they made the mistake to begin with ! It didn't dry better the next day, the rest of my hair was even darker because Leah toned a darker color on the rest of my hair and covered all the old highlights she put in and now I look like cruella deville. What a waste of time and money. For the record I tipped $40 on a $160 in hopes I could work with a stylist for life and give the benefit of the doubt. They don't care they don't want lifelong customers. They disrespect paying customers and can't even finish the job.

I work long hours during the week and saw this at 5:15pm and with it being Monday the studio is closed so I left a voicemail and email asking for my deposit back since they cancelled the contract. At 6:30pm Nicole called and said she is available to talk until 7pm, again I work late and couldn't call back. I emailed back the next morning about how dissatisfied I was, how unprofessional this entire situation was, and if I could please have my deposit returned to me since she cancelled on us and I need to find a new salon to travel for 10 woman. Then she replied to my email saying that this was all a mistake and the email was to another bride. It is clear this was not a mistake as it was a reply in our email chain, she spelled out my name correctly, and said specifically "no longer able to do your wedding" meaning it was already booked not someone inquiring. In the same email she said that it was not her who cancelled, and that it was us who cancelled out contract and for that reason she is keeping the deposit. Also in the same email, she made comments about how she hopes the next vendor that works with me is ready to handle me and called me a coward for hiding behind my words and posting anonymous reviews, which is completely false. Never before have I felt so attacked on a personal level from a business and this is a clear testament to their shameful customer service and business practices. Nicole, I hope when you read this you see my name posted above because I will be writing more like this because of how unfairly and unprofessionally I have been treated. I urge anyone who thinks doing business with them is a good idea to STAY FAR AWAY and DO NOT give any large amounts of money as a deposit so they don't try to scam you out of your money as well!
