I have a one-year-old standard poodle, Noodle, who is already really well behaved. I'd say he was a good boy before but now he's a GREAT boy! I initally wanted to get him ecollar trained so I can have more control at the dog park when he humps other dogs. I got WAY more out of our sessions than expected. Noodle knew the basic obedience commands (sit, place, come, down) but would do it on his terms. A week after his ecollar training, he was immediately listening to me on the first command. I think it's important to note that I trained with Noodle outside of our class almost 5 times a week for 30+ minutes. We did the basic obedience class with Emily who was the perfect trainer for us! She is very encouraging, positive and reassuring. She taught me how to properly handle the ecollar and how to praise Noodle when he's doing a good job. Emily really put things in perspective for me and reassured me that Noodle and I were on our way to success. Thank you Emily for such a great experience at Off Leash K9, we look forward to booking more training sessions with you!

First and foremost - I worked with several different trainers from Off Leash Atlanta, and without exception, I found them to be passionate professionals who had a genuine interest in making the training experience great for both me and the dog. At each session I was asked if there was anything specific they could help us with, and regardless of whether my answer was related to that week's lesson or not, I was given a clear and honest answer. They provided instant feedback and tips during training that became invaluable over the course of the program. Their fair approach to training - not punitive, not overly reward-based - is balanced, easy to live with, and sensible. They've assembled a team of amazing folks who are dedicated and effective trainers. I trained at the Smyrna facility (Dogma) and their grounds were not only convenient for me and well kept, but their staff was friendly and the location provided some much-needed distraction to train alongside with the comings-and-goings of their clients and kennel noise. Training in a controlled environment but with real world situations close at hand was key to our progress. Prior to training - when I adopted my dog from the county animal shelter in October '16, she was a wonderful companion indoors but would pull so hard at her lead that she would choke herself on her collar, which led to the purchase of multiple harnesses that helped but offered little control. Being partly Rhodesian, she wanted to run and chase after every noise and movement she saw when out on a walk. Contact with other dogs (and some people) was tense and often loud. Add to that some degree of separation anxiety, and you can see why I chose to seek professional assistance with my new-found friend. As to the effectiveness of the training itself - I couldn't be more pleased with the results. My confidence and ability as a handler has increased dramatically. My dog's personality, warmth and love for life hasn't changed a bit. I'm now able to take the dog into unfamiliar situations with little worry and full control. My commands and expectations are clear and the dog is happy to meet them, and she's even excited when the e-collar comes out and rushes to put it on. The staff of Off Leash Atlanta provided us with a solid obedience foundation, a healthy and fair-minded mental approach to training, and the tools I need to continue working with my awesome dog. I have recently adopted a second dog and begun her training. Using the techniques I learned during training classes with Off Leash Atlanta, she's becoming an obedience all-star in no time! I plan on enrolling her in the Agility course they offer the next time it is available. If you are considering doing obedience training with your animal, do an honest inventory of your time and interest level - no amount of training will fully take hold if you don't put in the work. Strive to find everyday situations for training and keep it fun. It's a great opportunity to deepen your bond with your dog and learn to communicate with them more effectively. Off Leash Atlanta has earned my deep appreciation, sincere respect, full support, and my highest recommendation. They have had such a positive impact on our daily lives, and they can surely help you do the same.

I have a new dog in two weeks time! She counter surfed, pulled on the leash, was mischievous and now she is not distracted by people and can sit and heel of leash with distractions. I received the greatest videos, updates and pictures which helped me cope with missing her. Kristen is absolutely amazing and worth every penny! I cannot thank her and anyone else who helped enough!!!

At the end of a walk, I felt drained and have sore shoulders, it was not much fun. Since we RV and travel a lot, we wanted to be able to take the dog along without worry. We did a lot of research online and choose Daisy's Canine Academy. We opted for the two-week emersion program. We provided a list of commands and traits we were hoping for: 1) RVing, come, stay, fetch, heel, drop, sit, get, etc., 2) Socialized around people, other dogs, cars etc. and be calm and under control, 3) Go to Kennel, Basket on command. This was a lot to expect for just a two-week program. Daisy her trainer delivered in spades. The dog came back transformed; she did not do everything 100 percent, but honestly the most important thing was she trained the trainer, yes me I was able to continue working with the dog to fine tune her training, which is still a work in progress but fun for me as well as the dog. She does most what we outlined above and even more, can't wait for our first RV trip in the New Year. Daisy stays in touch and has had frequent follow-up visits. I would highly recommend Daisy's Canine Academy!!!

We are an airline family and travel quite often. Bear really liked camp Mimi at first but the last time Bear went to camp mimi she was drugged. After an 8 day stay, my elderly father had to carry our 70 pound German shepherd and place her in the car. For the next 3 days Bear was intensely lethargic and we had to carry her out to use the bathroom. Fast forward a few years later going to a different grooming/kennel place to find out from a previous worker that Bill and Sylvia do in fact tranquilize/ drug animals. Thankfully, we have a very happy, healthy, and energetic 6 year old girl, but, the thought of these adults hurting another animal is enough to make me sick. Please DO NOT take your animal to camp Mimi. I absolutely wish I had some sort of proof of this so that I could put these folks out of business. Attached are photos of my sweet Bear girl. Then employees chased after her which pushed her far into the woods. The owners admitted that my dog was the 5th dog they lost in 5 years and they told me this was a good track record - really??
