We just did this tour and I can't say enough things. First - I booked the wrong day and realized it 30 min before the tour but Paula was so accommodating and let us go today. The food was SO good and Paula knew so many facts. She was so kind and thoughtful. It really was amazing how people actually said hi to her on the street because she lives in the area. Phenomenal and quintessential North End tour! Paula was a wonderful guide to the history and food of the North End. She is very passionate about the places and food she was sharing with us. We so enjoyed Paula's tour, which I went on for the second time today. It is a perfect combination of history and delicious food, and I learned a ton even the second time around. Loved this tour! Food samples are just enough that you don't walk away starving and it's well worth the money. Paula was a great guide who knew a lot. The way she described the history of the area and the pace at which she told it made myself (a high school history teacher) love it and my husband (not so much a history buff) enjoy it as well. Paula's love and passion for the North End comes through in every bite, every cobblestone, and every step you take on the streets of her favorite part of Boston.
