Of my trip to Boston, the Cocktails and Cannolis walking tour was the activity I was looking the most forward to. And, it did not disappoint! Our tour guide Sara was fabulous. She is very passionate about Boston, particularly the North End, and enthusiastic about her job. We learned historical bits about Boston that I don't think we'd have learned on other tours. In regards to the cocktails and cannoli, we couldn't have asked for more. Everything we tried was delicious. Most of the cocktails were full size and I was expecting small samples. The side by side taste off between the two leading cannoli bakers was fun and delicious. I highly recommend this tour!

Patrick was entertaining and knowledgeable about the North End. We had a blast celebrating a birthday with friends

We loved absolutely everything about this tour especially our tour guide, Pat. Pat was knowledgable, super friendly, and very welcoming. He texted us before hand to make sure if we had any questions before the tour, engaged in conversation with everyone, and checked in with how people were feeling about their drinks and dessert. 10/10 would recommend if you're looking to do something with your partner (and/or friends) or just to have a few cocktails with some dessert. The North End experience was much more lively with Pat as our tour guide.

We had such a blast with Pat today on the cocktail and cannoli tour through the North End. My sister lives in the neighborhood and he was still able to show us a bunch of hidden gems with excellent food and drinks along the way.

This tour should not be missed when visiting Boston! We were in Boston to celebrate our anniversary and found this tour online. The cocktails and the desserts were amazing and Pat and Sarah made the tour so fun taking us to restaurants we'd never been to and sharing fun facts about the North End along the way! Highly recommend this tour and will definitely plan to do this again!

This tour was so much fun! I set up a private tour for my close family members, there were 5 of us - and coming me, someone from MA and a frequent visitor of Boston with a passion for the north end - I was brought placed I've walked past 100 times and never knew they were there. Hidden gems of bar and bakeries, delighted with some drinking history, taken down quiet back roads off of Hanover St. , this tour gave us everything we wanted and never expected. Our tour guide was awesome and so accommodating. The perfect length as well, 2-2.5hrs - while there is a mix of walking and relaxing - we didn't feel tired! He truly knew his stuff and I would recommend this tour to anyone no matter how familiar you are with Boston and the North End. As long as you like fantastic cocktails and desserts ;)

I went on Pat's Cocktail and Cannoli tour last week with a friend and my daughter. We had a blast! My friend is from out of town and I used to be a local (many years ago). Pat was fun and had lots of fun facts about the history of the North End and the bakery rivals. This tour is a must for any foodies or cocktail connoisseurs visiting the North End for the first time. Even former locals like me would enjoy this.

Paula is an incredible guide--an enthusiastic historian with a deep love for the North End, its rich stories, and its vibrant food scene. She brought the neighborhood to life with fascinating facts, local lore, and unforgettable bites from hidden gems we would've never found on our own. We were so lucky to be the only two people who kept our reservation despite the rain, and honestly? It made the experience even more magical. Paula customized the tour to our pace and preferences, and it felt like we were exploring with a friend who knows everything about the area. One unforgettable stop was Ristorante Saraceno, where we met Franco--the owner--who is an absolute joy to interact with. His warm hospitality, legendary food, and impeccable service made us feel right at home. Buon appetito, indeed! I've done food tours in several cities, but this was hands down the best one yet. From the cozy mom-and-pop spots to the authentic flavors and stories, it was a feast for all the senses. You can genuinely feel Paula's passion for this historic neighborhood and its people. Now this tour may not be for everyone, as the title of the tour alludes to.. but if you don't mind the random swear word and aren't easily offended, you'll be like me... cracking up for 3 hours straight. And there was one thing I noticed about Anthony that he doesn't advertise, and may try to track me down for saying on here.... But beneath the gruff exterior was the sweetest guy that seemed genuinely interested in sharing his culture, stories, and amazing food with everyone! We started off at a pizza joint where we got a slice of pizza and an arancini ball. I expected the pizza to be good... and it was fantastic. But I am not a huge fan of arancini and this one had peas in it... also something I am not a huge fan.... But hey, I was on a food tour so I was going to try everything! Thank goodness I did, because this arancini was the stuff of dreams. How in the world could something be THAT much better than what high end Italian restaurants advertise? The last time I had an arancini ball was at a restaurant in Hawaii that won "best Italian food in Hawaii".... And it was only so-so. This arancini ball would make me fly 5,000 just to eat it again! Next up was a deli sub, a coffee shop, ravioli, a pastry shop and lastly an affogato (or gelato if you didn't want coffee that late in the day). Based on the food I received, before factoring in all the stories that Anthony shared, I feel the tour was really underpriced. I wish I hadn't done this the tour on my last day, I would have gone back for another round of everything we tried, as well as everything that was recommended. Heck I may have signed up for the tour again just to experience it all over again!

But not that she just knew, she had SO MUCH personality, I would literally pay again just to hang with her for the night! With the exception of Dino's I had been to all these places in the past but it was just cool to do it in a different manor. Our guide, Jake, met us a bit early in the appointed spot. He handed us the ghost plushies we bought (a nice souvenir) and the EMF meters we rented, and since there were only four of us on the tour, he began early. I didn't find him very engaging and felt he was going for "jump scares" when telling the stories. Since it was evening, we could only stop outside or across the street from places we visited (except for the Boston Common, where we met). I did like the three extra stories on the extended tour. I recommend not renting the EMF meters, as we weren't really encouraged to use them. It seems Jake forgot about them as soon as he gave them to us. I turned them on a few times, but didn't get much of a result. It is a fairly short tour; we began around 7:45 and were done by 9:15. Wear comfortable shoes. You will be doing quite a bit of walking, including up a hill (that Jake joked was the scariest part of the tour). Whether or not you take the extended tour, you end up in a different location, so be mindful of that. It's not a must-do, but if it works with your schedule, it's a nice way to spend an evening.
