The service was good. Server very friendly. The steak bites appetizer is expensive but very good. The burger was good, and cooked nicely. The fried chicken was not the best. Small pieces. The potato wedges were undercooked. We each got 1 refill on our softdrinks, but we're not told they charge full price for every refill. Brittany was my bartender on Friday October 10 and she was so rude and horrible. I tried to order just a corona and she ignored me and helped everyone else around me without speaking to me. Stayed there for 5 minutes then walked away. My boyfriend came up after me and she immediately helped him. Also the bathroom was taped off for no reason and my mom asked her when it would be open and she was rude and told her that she doesn't know and she's busy and completely dismissed us. I had read the Joliet Herald article, that praised the restaurant, so I felt that my group would have a great experience, but found a huge disappointment. 1.) I have reservation for a group of 25 people at 2pm on a Wednesday, so they were not surprised and should have been prepared. 2.) The restaurant had the ambience of a shipping container with tables (drab color, bare walls). 3.) When anyone opened the front door, everyone froze from the clod air blast. 4.) We only had one server, so, I knew that service would be slow, but I never expected this. Taking the orders took 45 minutes, then, there was a hour 'spread' from the time the first people were served, till the last person. 5.) The food wasn't, (not great) but at these prices, many restaurants serve much better. It goes without saying, my group won't go back and you can do much better, elsewhere! read more

Disappointed! We were hoping it would be better with all the good reviews. Since the entire area lacks good places to eat I guess most people liked it because it's new. Service was fast and food came out fast. No tap beer so we ordered (2) Blue Moon's. Never asked us if we wanted a glass or an orange and just dropped off the bottles. We did notice tables around us had their drinks come out in plastic cups with lids. Not enough glassware maybe? $9 shrimp appetizer with 6 shrimp was OK but not worth the price. My rib-eye was decent but the wife's meal was bland. Sides were all bland and fries super greasy. During our meal they started playing Texas Hold Em at the tables next to us in the dining area. Seems this place is a sports bar, with no tap beer, trying to be a notable restaurant also. Pick your lane. There is no "Office Show" theme here for those coming for that reason but we did not come for that reason. Food a bit over priced& impressed by the food. Bar food as best. Good place to go shoot pool or play darts and drink some bottled beer. Lots of room to do that so play some pool and then go elsewhere for a good meal. read more

Been here a couple of times and it's been ok. However after tonight we will not return. Let me start this off by saying they weren't very busy but yet our server was basically nonexistent once she dropped off our food. Normally a server should stop in after a couple minutes to see if your food is ok and if you need anything. Unfortunately our server never came back until we were completely done eating. This was definitely a problem because my fish was raw on the inside. Ordered the fried cod dinner and it was cold and undercooked on the inside but yet hard and very dry on the outside. I ate my fries which were good but I also didn't get the ranch I ordered and another order at the table asked for cheese on their sandwich and that was missing as well. I'm not blaming the server for the terrible food but she definitely should have come back so that I could have had my meal fixed instead of only eating the fries. Close to home so we like to pop in from time to time. It's not a bad place but what a turn off when you order a $5.25 pint of craft beer and it comes in a plastic cup that doesn't hold a pint. I asked no glasses, bartenders response oh they're all dirty they'll bring some out soon. There were a lot of drinks being served in plastic cups how cheesy. I saw a couple down the bar eating with utensils I'm really surprised they weren't plastic forks. Appetizers were good and eventually we bitches the plastic and she got us glasses. If you want to feel like your at a high school kegger party you'll love this place. Good management would help and the cases of beer piled up against the back wall also cheesy. Place has great potential if it had good management. When we moved here in 2003 this place was Roadhouse on 6 it was top notch wish it could go back to that. read more

I never heard of the place but when my friends said that they we're going to " The Office " at midnight, I was confused because they don't work office jobs...(no I wasn't drinking) we went there, they had a great live band playing, the stage set up is a little weird and cheap but I enjoyed what the band brought. The place is generally empty usually full of regulars but the patrons and bartenders are usually nice. Bar is clean and well maintained. Features a pool table and darts. There may be more but I could be wrong. I'd come back for sure if I was in the area. read more

The prices werent terrible, and it was just a bizarre 'strip mall bar' experience. They had someone come in and start blasting music with some lazers and a disco ball, but they really werent changing it up too much. (2 GnR songs from the same album in an hour, for example). It was an interesting new experience, but I like craft beers, and blue moon was as crafty as it gets. If you love country and popular music that you hear on every radio station or commercial, drink nothing but bud and miller, then this might be a decent place for you. There really is no sense of induviduallity to make it distinct from anything else, however. read more

If i could give 0 stars, i would. The absolute worst service i have ever experienced at a bar. $5 cover because some awful cover band played in parking lot. Even though we went inside and could not hear the terrible music, we still had to pay. The inside was nearly empty with at least a dozen open tables, yet we still had to pay a cover for live entertainment we couldnt even experience. Asked the waitress about any beer bucket deals and she said there were none and that it was $3 bottles. After she came back with our first round, we noticed the sign on the wall for $10 buckets of 5 beers EVERYDAY. Apparently the deal was "not for today". 50 minutes later somebody came and took the sign down. The menu said the nachos include ground beef and salsa; we received neither. Our party of 8 ordered sandwiches. One persons order came in about 5 minutes, while the other 7 orders came 30 minutes later...on paper plates and with no silverware or napkins. We had to use plastic silverware and the waitress only brought it to us if we asked her for it. If we didnt ask, we didnt get plastic silverware. We asked for napkins and the waitress came back and said she couldnt find them. I have never heard of a restaurant that doesn't have napkins available. When the food finally came, the waitress lost track of how each of the 4 burgers we ordered was cooked. She blamed the cooks and said that once she fills out the ticket, it is "out of my hands." Any person who has worked in the restaurant business knows that it is the server's responsibility to fill out and follow up on a ticket. Only one of the burger plates had a pickle on the side. The pickle was not a special request, it was just another example of poor service. As much as I like watching cycling on TV (sarcasm), it was the 3rd round of the PGA US Open. We asked 4 times for the channel to be turned to the tournament. Each time we asked, the server said yes, she would change it for us. Instead of changing it for us, she went behind the bar and was flirting with customers. Several of these men had their shirt off while inside the bar...at 3 in the afternoon. It took excessively long to receive our check. Not only did it take time to receive it, but we had to go up to the bar to request the check because our server was behind the bar doing a shot with a customer. Never in my life have i left a restaurant and not tipped, but this was the most horrendous service i have ever experienced. Oh, and some worker was walking around inside trying to sell bud coozies for $2. Who would buy a coozie at a bar that likely got them for free from anheiseur-busch? This place is near to my home so it's nice to have somewhere to go that's not to far. This way we can walk if we want to. It's not really big it only fits about 20 people at the bar and has about 10 tables. They have karaoke on some nights. And they do have live entertainment, and DJs sometimes. They also serve food, just bar food but it's decent. The bartenders have always been nice, sometimes the people that go there are kind of scary though. It's not somewhere you would want to go on a first date , it's more of a last resort option. read more

I am a regular here only because it's down the street from my house. All bartenders suck here except Christina on Thursday's and Bianca on Saturdays. They are friendly and fast to get drinks!
