    Shepards pie

Very large inviting restaurant/ bar with very good service on a busy night. Enjoyed nachos and bang bang shrimp appetizers. Shepards pie was good (perhaps more filling needed) Will return to watch live music and a good meal

Such an amazing experience. Great food, service and company. A must in the Shorewood/ Joliet area. An excellent owner really stands out. Thanks Chris.

Decided to go to a restaurant similar to Bennigan's since there are no more. We were celebrating our first date (trying to recreate the style/cuisine), so we went to Corrigan's Pub. Must say we did make a good choice. The atmosphere feels Sports bar (over 25 TV screens). Was greeted pleasantly and seated immediately. Nice crowd, not very packed however we could tell more people would be filling in the room soon. A Friday evening we ordered adult beverages. I'd ordered a Spiked Lemonade; tasted flat with alcohol, which I added sweetener and after asking for additional lemon wedges and squeezing into the drink it was just right. We didn't Order appetizers just straight to our meals. Food was good, hot and fresh. Our waitress was very attentive and the additional staff walked around clearing tables and or moving empty dishes quickly. All in all we had a good experience and the food was delicious. A note to add...the house made chunky seafood sauce was delicious!

Great ambiance for an Irish pub ! With alot of seating and room. Service was very attentive to our needs . The waitress was very friendly and helpful. Me and the Wife stopped for lunch during the week. We tried 3 appetizers and of course , had a Guinness on tap ! All three apps were good! Had new vegi flat bread , cheese curds and pretzel with cheese. Decent portions and cooked well. The Beer is always fantastic on tap We will be back.

Went to grab a bite to eat at 7:30pm on a Friday night. We walked in without a reservation for a party of two, and we were say quickly. It was a little busy. Music plays, but you are still able to have a conversation. Our server came shortly after and took our drink order along with food. The fiery Irishman burger came out hot. You get offer a side and I picked the sweet waffle fries. Those, on the other hand, came out semi-cold. Perhaps thet cook the fries in a big batch and leave them out? I did not request to have them reheated, but I feel if I did, it would have been no problem. The Buffalo dip came out hot. Only downside, we were not provided silverware, so the chips were breaking here and there in the dip. I wouldn't mind going back to try a different food item, maybe pass on the fries.

The atmosphere is pretty much the same as the old restaurant was hoping they would switch up the tables a bit but not a big deal. Had the cheese curds as appetizer, thought they were good and the marinara was tasty that was served with it . Shared the bbq pork sandwich with the hubby. Sauce was tasty and pork was topped w Cole slaw . We had advised waitress we were splitting so it was nice surprise they split up for us . Fries were tasty . Our waitress, once a little busy was not very attentive but was not a big deal would have just liked another drink. Will be back again to try something new.

Breakfast Burger -- side view. Pretty good burger. Perfectly melted cheese.

Hot and fresh. Only problem is that the cheese sauce has a film and was like water. It was scorching hot though. The burger was good sized, hot, and juicy. I wish that they offered to cook it to a temp other than mid-well. Over all, this place is fine. Nothing fancy, you get what you pay for. If I were in town again, I'd stop in again. Just a note. They charge a 3% surcharge if you pay by credit card. It's not noted anywhere with signage. It's not on the menu in fine print. It shows up on your bill. I've heard people say that "if you can't afford to tip, don't eat out. Well if you have to charge people a surcharge to pay by credit card, then don't open a restaurant. If you are going to do that, then post it on the menu and at the front counter so people know.

My husband enjoys playing music on the TouchTunes jukebox, and like any paying customer, he simply wanted to hear what he was paying for. The volume was consistently kept so low that it made the experience frustrating. He politely asked--on more than one occasion--if it could be turned up slightly and even offered to pay extra. Each time, he was told by waitstaff they were not allowed to accept money from him to adjust it, which was surprising in itself. What made this even more frustrating is that there were times the bar was nearly empty and it still wasn't adjusted. In a bar setting--with normal ambient noise--being able to hear the music you're paying for shouldn't be an unreasonable request. What made it worse was the tone and treatment. There was one bartender in particular who was consistently unfriendly toward him, and when he calmly asked what the issue was, she told him he "walks in like he owns the place and makes demands." That statement was both unnecessary and inaccurate. He has always been respectful and has never done anything to warrant that kind of response. At a certain point, it stopped feeling like a simple difference in preference and started feeling personal. We were left feeling unwelcome--something no customer should ever experience. When my husband finally said, "We're not coming back," the response he received was simply, "Good," delivered in a contemptuous tone. That moment said everything. It's unfortunate, because we genuinely liked this place and gave it multiple chances. But in any customer service business, respect isn't optional--it's the standard. No one should be treated that way. No one. In the end, it wasn't the music that drove us away--it was the way we were treated.

I've personally been here probably over 50 times (no joke) since I've moved to Plainfield 2 yrs ago. Everything I've ever had was spot on great food. 1st bad experience: They added a few new items to the menu which I was super excited about. I had the carne asada. I was skeptical at first because, I mean this isn't a traditional Mexican restaurant but I thought.....why not.....everything else has always been super good. As you can see the presentation was outstanding!!!! I was super pumped especially because I ordered a Kentucky Mule (which was fabulous by the way). I started eating the steak & it weirdly didn't have a flavor....I kept eating & toward the middle end of eating it....it tasted sour.....I thought it was me.....I had a beer & then drinking the Mule.....but when i had the last 2 bites it tasted moldy. I got worried & didn't say anything until i checked out. There were 2 lady's tending the tables & bar. I told the nice lady with the glasses as I was checking out about my experience & told her as a suggestion to check the meat. I wasn't expecting her to discount my plate nor did I ask for a discount. She was super super nice about it. She told me I should have said something about it....but i explained to her that i thought it was just me because i was soo hungry & eating fast & drinking the mule....that i didn't notice till the end. KUDOS to the waitress with the glasses!!! Thank you for being kind! I will definitely be back per usual to this spot. I think maybe because its a new item its not moving to fast?....& it was already past due?....I dunno but I just wanted to share with you my experience. Suggestion to all that cook carne asada (skirt steak): for it to be spot on with the seasoning....use Adobo....but it needs to be the Criolla brand. A lot of places use Goya Adobo but thats pure salt with no taste. Criolla Adobo is good on all meats & gives it a great taste. If you're gonna grill it.....season with Adobo & put in a zip lock bag over night with vinegar.....& oh emm geee.....the most tender, flavorful skirt steak!!! I've even left 'em seasoning for 3 days...& thats even better & more tender.
