This is my first yelp. I've left plenty of 5 star google reviews. Never a negative one. This is quite literally the worst customer service experience of all time. Felt like a nuisance for walking in. Not just from one employee BUT ALL THREE I interacted with. Especially the guy at the print shop. I asked to print business cards for a week out and the guy didn't even know how to do that. Twin. Great customer service in the printing department. I came in to get some documents laminated & all three employees were welcoming & helpful. One employee took the orders, another one fulfilled & the third checked customers out. The positive flow of teamwork is evident which makes it easier for us customers. The store is in great shape & not crowded with inventory. There's various sub-departments offering an array of items aside from office supplies. I needed to buy some removable adhesive name tags for an HOA community event that I planned for this evening. Office Depot came through with the exact ones that I wanted because of their larger size. This Office Depot location is in a large shopping center. All of the businesses share a very large and free parking lot, and parking spaces are always easy to find. When I walked into the Office Depot store, I didn't see any employees at any of the registers at the front, nor did I see any in the Customer Service area. Lucky for me, the signage at the end of every aisle was accurate. When I saw the "Labels" sign, I quickly found the name tags. As I was walking toward the front of the store, an employee saw me and asked if I was finding everything alright, which was a great thing. As I got closer to the front of the store, I was confused as to which area I was supposed to go to to pay for the name tags. An employee in the Customer Service area asked me if I was ready to check out, and did so efficiently. The only issue that I have with this store is that the check out area where I was supposed to go is confusing. The store is clean and organized. Merchandise in all of the aisles, except for the ones against the walls, are easily in reach for most people. read more

I returned a used printer cartridge and was told to allow a few days for $2 to post to my account. I checked twice and was told it had not posted yet. I checked again today and was told an entirely different story that it would not post unless I made a $10 purchase within a few days of turning it in. How can the employees get away with telling such different stories. Total waste of time. read more

What's the point of going here if they won't even help you? I came to get help for printing and for them to actually do it. This store is great & the staff are friendly. There's a really helpful young woman who wears glasses & works in the printing area. She has a European accent like German or something. Very sweet! Love coming into this Office Depot. The store is easy to navigate and very clean. The isles are well laid out and the signs allow for easy location of what you are looking for. The employees are always helpful and friendly, greeting guests as they come in the door. I will continue to shop here for my office needs because of the wide selection of items and the awesome employee interaction. They offer a great rewards program with discounts upon checkout and eventual cash back rewards once you reach a certain spend. The only draw back is that they promote free two-day shipping once you spend $500 annually. In 2019, I thought two-day shipping was standard, I guess not (thanks Amazon). read more

They have been in the last year GARBAGE!! Idk what changed, but half of the time the printers do not work and the workers by the printing station more than half the time don't want to work. Printer wouldn't print asked them if they could print on there side said no we don't do walking printing jobs but guess what she was literally putting in an order her and the coworker for Chick-fil-A I mean if you have time to do this you should have time to print out 2 sheets of papers. Due to hours machine not wanting to print it for me. She suggest I go to FEDEX. YALL ARE SAD!! Close the store if yall would rather eat and put lipgloss on than help. Kinda strange to write a review for an office supply store, but I've had consistently good encounters here, including one of THE best customer service experiences. I originally ordered something online, and set it for store pickup. After getting confirmation that it was ready, I went to go pick it up at this Mt. Vernon location. The worker tells me they cannot find it in the store. Eventually a manager comes to assist, and this is where I want to praise Mr. Dameon. He went above and beyond during a situation that wasn't even his fault (it was the fault of the online process that should never had said this location had the item in stock). He spent a good amount of time, re-checking around the store, calling online, and even offered to help me find a similar product in store and match the price. Since then, I've always made it a point to say hello when I drop in, and Dameon there with a friendly smile. The rest of the staff at the store is also courteous and helpful without being overbearing. PRO TIP: Occasionally, Office Depot has a Yelp Cash Back offer, so check for that, claim it, and make your purchase. read more

I submitted my order on Tuesday, May 7th. Same-day printing service order. I understand it was after the cut off, I even called the store to make sure they could print my order and the guy on the phone said he could get it done by the next day which is Wednesday, May 8. I told him I didn't need it until Thursday. Wednesday past, Thursday passed and I called the store this morning Friday, May 10th, only to find out they couldn't print my order. The lady on the phone with me wasn't understanding and rude about the situation, she kept asking me the same questions instead of apologizing. I was told that this order would be completed by Wednesday. I requested to speak to the manager and the manager didn't even get on the phone to speak with me. Not good customer service. I've used this location many times, spending thousands of dollars yearly, if not every 6 months. What is the point of same-day service when it's not being honored? read more

The lady in charge of the copies didn't want to help us print, even thought it was 45+ minutes before the store close. We only needed one sheet of paper to print of some personal documents, but she just refuses saying she was "too busy", we even tried doing the self printing option, but she didn't want to provide us with the paper, so she wasn't helping in any way and we had to look for other establishment to take the copies. What a horrible service, and hopefully I don't need to go again. read more

Went to this location to use their advertised "printing services." This location does not have computers to utilize - instead, you need to send your document to an Office Depot email and they will print it. No guarantees that the document is deleted after printing. Never do print business with Office Depot in Dunwoody, GA. This review is based on my visit on August 27 around 10:30 am. Went today to get 50 copies of two sheets of paper. I walked up to the print area just as another customer was leaving. I told the lady there what I needed, she said to check in at the kiosk so no one else could get in front of me. I was the only customer in line! I finished at the kiosk and told her again what I needed. She swung around her computer and said to input my order into it.(isn't this her JOB?). I entered my number and it pulled up random info - not my name or anything that looked like an order entry. I said "I need help" and the lady came back. She then told me that it would be faster if I went to the self serve machine. By this time I was pissed off and left the store. Emailed photo print and received an email at 3:12 AM saying my order couldn't be processed. I needed them in the morning. How no one called and told me. No one wants to help you ever and the line seems to be long, even with only a couple of people in them. Check out is always very slow. I can usually find what I need without much help, but over all if I look like I am wandering aimlessly, and going up and down the same aisles, maybe offer some assistance. The only way to get help is to get in the crazy line and wait. They have most of what you need, paper, envelopes, ink cartridges, etc. At check out, the staff is nice enough. Most cases, but the time I am checking out, I am really ready to get the heck out of Dodge. read more

My experience at this particular Office Depot was fantastic. I stopped in 3 days before Christmas Day when I was faced with a dilemma. I needed to have trading cards made for the kids participating in UFC GYM Perimeter's Winter Camp. I needed them completed the next day! I definitely should have given them more notice. However, they were so patient with me. They let me use their computer because I wanted to design the cards myself. Two hours later, the design was complete and the cards were off to the printer. They had them ready for pickup next morning. The kids loved their cards and I loved the AMAZING STAFF for making it happen! read more

Wow what an awful store and experience...printing service was absolute trash. Waited 10 plus minutes just to be told to check into kiosk which then said it would be another 10 minutes with no one in front of me?The women who was supposed to be at the printing desk was running all over the store, she was everywhere except at the desk helping me. I need 2 pieces of 18x24 paper copied twice. That's it. 4 copies were needed. Waited 30 minutes watching her attempt to copy it Before they told me anything the helped 4 plus people that were in line after. she brought back half of the copies with ink smeared all over them. I asked her to just use a larger size paper to print then 10 more minutes later she came back out saying there printer is jammed and I can come back in an hr. These guys have been horrible lately! I walked into this place recently with the attempt to buy an Ethernet cable for a cable box due to adding a new TV in my house. As I walk in, I pass by two "associates" without being greeted or anything along those lines. I approach one of the "associates" by the name of Kevin and ask him if I am invisible because if so, I would very much like to know. He said no and kept on walking. I go chase down through the store a cable. A few minutes into that, I get approached by a "customer service specialist" in which I engage for assistance. I tell him what I need and he recommends a coaxial cable. I disagree, therefore a slight debate begins. I am 200% sure I need a Ethernet cable since I have personally disconnected the one I have in place from the old TV to the new TV. The conversation goes to where I start doubting what I came there for.. I finally grab a 7 foot Ethernet cable and call it! This is just another example of people being miserable at their job. My recommendation in general is that anything is possible if you stop being lazy and never get comfortable with your self. Most of these guys get stuck in these jobs where they simply consume the air provided my Mother Earth without much reasoning. I do not understand! This is a great place to get annoyed and waste your time. If that is your cup of tea, please don't hesitate! Highly recommended! read more

I don't know what's going on here -- been in twice this week trying to order and get business cards. There's always 4 employees to every customer and still there's a customer who needs help and nobody is helping. I ordered business cards in the store, was told they'd be done that night or the next day. I go back the next day, no cards, haven't been made yet they told me. Call the next day and they have no record of my order. The cards were not made which means two different employees - one the first day and the second the day when I came back in completely blew me off soon as I walked out of the store. They're done with whatever it is I came in for and paid for the instant I leave. But they aren't even busy and this is what they do, it's a print shop! WTH? read more

I went to Office Depot at 1155 Mt. Vernon Hwy. to purchase Epson ink cartridges. I had an advertisement from Walmart offering a sale price for these cartridges. The Store Manager, Rufus Butler, offered to help me find what I needed. He was delightful and very helpful. He found the cartridges I needed and also gave me the price offered by Walmart. Also, the guy at the checkout was super nice and friendly. I will shop at this store again soon. read more
