Bought $100 pen here and came back to get a refill, was immediately dismissed when asking for help and then when I couldn't find my item, I searched online which told me they had multiple in stock. So of course I ask again for help and I get attitude. When I finally talk someone into helping me, she walks away, comes back and says hey we never got them or someone stole them. Never once did any of the three employees treat me with any kindness or respect. Pretty sure the one that was the manager was the one that turned around and put her back to me when I walked directly up to her and made eye contact. So upsetting, I was told by staff if I waited they would help me cut the four invitations I had for my daughter since the cutter was out of service. The manager... short guy with glasses ... yes the manager come and tell me after I have waited patiently for 15 min since staff was busy... "that they could not help me." He also stated it would be 24 hours turn around to cut one piece of paper!!! I was not in a rush ... but I can't believe how inconsiderate the manger was after I waited patiently in this extremely long line and didn't put up a fuss. Mean while the staff was working hard to help customers...felt extremely bad for me, apologized to me... but their manager would not allow them to... he stated they did not know what was going on In back... which made it even more concerned that is staff isn't kept update with business. It was not like wasn't going to pay for. I will never buy from this store again. I would hope this store looks at getting knew manager because he is drawing customers away! You can obviously tell he treat his employees terribly, as I waited there he just stood back and didn't even jump in to help with customer... why he even jumped in on me, make me think he was targeting me. This was a phenomenal experience!! Ebony, the manager, took care of me immediately upon walking in. I had to get something printed and laminated that required a lot of precise cutting and rounded edges. She spent time ensuring everything was perfect. When I say perfect, I mean that she was shaving off NANOMETERS of paper to ensure the rounded edge was just ~perfect~ Glad I ran into Ebony on my day at Office Depot! My mother and I walked into the store and immediately a sales associate with the name of Leonard McCombs approaches us asking if we needed assistance. As were figuring out how to print what needed, we couldn't seem to email the right attachment in order for it to be printed. Mind you my mother is in her 50's and has little to no patience when it comes to technology. Leonard had so much patience and such a calm professionalism with her, helped her thru the process and solved the issue. Now a days it is rare to get such great customer service. In terms of big box office stores, this one really impressed me. I'll probably choose this location over the Office store in the Quarry from now on (can't remember if it's Depot or Max, but same thing, right?). Long story short, we were helped by not one, but two enthusiastic gals who talked ins and outs of mail labels with us (yeah, I always have to re-learn how to do these things every year or so). I also learned that for a small fee, they can perform the dreaded mail merge task for you - something I'd never known since employees at most office stores like this seem to vanish into thin air the second you actually have a question. I came in 10 before they where closing to print out 14 pictures for a presentation I had the next day. The store manager Laura turned me away and said it was too many pictures to print and I would have to make it an order. It was poor customer service. To me if someone came in at the same time and grabbed 10 printers to ring up. They wouldn't have turned down the money, but I think anyone is a bad manager to turn down any kind of money when you're still open. So much for my presentation tomorrow. Just lazy to me. read more

This isn't my normal Office Depot so yesterday was my first time to go here to pick up an online order (you should definitely check out that option!). I appreciated that my order was filled within an hour, and I could pick up my items on my way home from work. Overall, it seemed like any other Office Depot/Max. It's a smaller store than I am used to, so I'm not sure if they can keep the same amount of inventory as other locations. The store was clean, well-lit, and I was able to get in and out quickly. The downside for me is that the binder I ordered was damaged in the corners. I noticed this while I was still at the store, so I went to check out if I could replace it with another one. Unfortunately, the entire shelf of this particular binder were all damaged in the same place. I'm not sure if this was a design flaw in the product or if it was a packaging issue. Either way, I grabbed the one with the least noticeable damage and was able to effortlessly exchange it for the one I had been originally given. I would return here in the future. read more

Friendly helpful staff go a long way to making shopping here a good experience. Their shelves are always well stocked and attractively displayed. What they don't tell you though is that, when it comes to big ticket items , you can often save big time if you order on line. You can then either pick it up at the store or have it delivered. I had a product that I no longer needed. I tried repeatedly to return the product but every person I spoke to on Office Depots main 1800 number were beyond unhelpful, it was as if they were trying to make it impossible for me to return a product I no longer needed. I returned the product to the Crossroads Store and there were further problems. I called the store and spoke with LESLIE the store manager and she was SO HELPFUL. She took time to listen to my problem, she looked into my situation and called me several times to give me updates. A few short days after speaking with Leslie my product had been returned and I received my refund. I will continue to get all of my office supplies from Office Depot because of people like Leslie. She really went above and beyond to help me. I have read reviews online that specifically trash her, and I couldn't have had a more positive experience with her. Again, Leslie is fantastic and Office Depot is lucky to have someone like her in the company. read more
