Recently I received one of those notices saying I wasn't at home when the UPS driver tried to deliver a package. The not said I could pick up the package at my local UPS store but that wasn't the case. When I went there I was told it had been delivered to a UPS "access point", a store not terribly distant from the UPS store. If UPS has decided to deliver packages to "access points" why don't they tell you that on the slip they leave behind instead of heaving you chase around town to where it was actually delivered. read more

I was in the area and needed a UPS. I generally would not go to this location as I have one near my house. This location was fine and the clerk was very fast and friendly. I was in and out in 2 minutes maybe less. My only problem with this location is parking. There is only street parking and it is hard to find open spots unless you wait. read more

This place is a horrible example of service, or any real expertise in what they are doing. I should have walked out when I overheard an unhappy customer while waiting in line: he had paid for a rechargeable key to use in the store's copiers and wanted to add money to they key. 3 people working in the store had no idea how to do it. He asked if they can call the manager to find out. One of the employees said he would try, then literally stepped in the back for 30 sec (not exaggerating!) and came back to say he couldn't reach the manager. When the guy left saying this was "unacceptable", one of the people working in the store said loudly (after the customer was out the door) "so is your mother"! My mistake for not walking out immediately. It was my turn, trying to mail a small package to Switzerland. 1. I gave them everything that needed to be shipped. They weighed them and told me it would be just over $150 for 1 week delivery, $170 for 2 business day. Once I said that I will pay the xtra for 2 business days, the price went to $200 (the explanation was that their estimates weren't exact?). 2. The guy then proceeded to set up shipping, and deleted everything the first person entered (by accident?). I then wrote everything down on a piece of paper to avoid any mistakes. When I reviewed the stuff on their screen, he left out part of the address (?). I told him and he apologized and entered it again (incorrectly again!). I told him again what was wrong, and he finally entered it correctly. 3. In the end, they charged me over $200 to ship a tiny package to Europe (including a premium to deliver in 2 business days). I filled out all the forms they requested completely as they instructed me. 4. The morning after it was supposed to have been delivered, I went on the UPS PACKAGE TRACKING website only to find out it was still in the US with an indicator that UPS reached out to the sender for additional info! 5. At this point, it is already past the delivery date. When I called the UPS international shipping phone number, they said that the commercial invoice wasn't submitted by their store. When I said that I'm the shipper and no one contacted me, they said they didn't have my contact info (I had given the store my phone number and email as they required!). 6. I filled out the forms they emailed me and forwarded as required, and was told it may make it in another few days. I asked if they would refund me the extra charges for 2 business day shipping, and UPS wanted no part of the conversation (said I had to take it up with the store!). Not a company, or location I would ever use again. Not competent, overpriced, they don't care, and treat customers like dirt! read more

I've been using this UPS drop-off store for a year+. They were charging to tape things for shipping so I bought my own tape & proceeded to come to ship at this store. They are the ONLY store I've seen charge for tape out of many UPS locations I've utilized (MI, TN, PA, CA, NV)... Today I go in with my tape & I'm told they are going to charge me to tape my package because they don't allow people to use tape in the store. I told him that I'm going to tape with my tape that I brought so they didn't need to charge me. Then...get this...I'm told to go home to tape my package & then return to the store! What in the literal xxx is going on?! Answer: someone tried to sue them because they cut themselves on a tap dispenser in the store. 1) you need to train your employees to have better soft skills 2) I will never give you a dime again 3) good luck in the lawsuit read more

Worst UPS store! I had an Amazon return and attempted a drop off at this location. Box was brown cardboard, no old shipping stickers and taped with duct tape. Dude at the counter proceeds to tell me the charge is $9.95. For what?!?‍ Because my tape wasn't "packing" tape. WTF!! Isn't a roll like $2?? I literally rejoined Yelp just to write this review. Place is a rip off. I had 5 items to return all of which I already had shipping labels for and two I already had my own boxes for (the other three just needed envelopes). Ask to buy a roll of tape. $7. Then told I can't tape it in store, they have to do it. Including the tape (which I need anyway) $8. I clarify that's for purchase of the roll and for them to tape. That's confirmed. Somehow my bill is almost $40! Apparently is was $8 for the roll of tape, an additional $8 for them to tape the freaking boxes I could have taped, $18 for 3 envelopes, and then an additional $3 they never told me about for them to "pack" the envelopes?! Crazy and unethical to not only not divulge all costs being charged to their customers but to charge for BS fees and "service items" read more
